What was there to argue about that? Overloading has nothing to do with return type. It's all about the number, type and sequence of arguments. It will throw an error if you two exact same method signature but different return type.
Generally found in languages with dynamic variables like python. Instead of explaining it to you, ill give an example:
a = 10
print(a)
a = "Bing Chilling"
print(a)
a = ["your","mom","has",a]
print(a)
I hate reddit mobile, why cant i just hit enter
Nah, I am using the same variable but its datatype is changing with values. So in python, if u have a variable that is storing an int number, you can update the variable and store a string in it with no additional syntax. This means I overrode the datatype of variable a from int to string with no additional bullcrap like freeing the variable and recreating it
4.5 LPA the hiring process was very selective with 2 online rounds and 2 offline rounds.
Online rounds were coding and English assignment.
Offline were Gd and tech+hr interview.
The interview questions were not so tough for me as it was asked from my internship experience but if you don't have any internship expect technical questions.
Good that you escaped from such a useless startup.
I remember my first startup interview. It was based in Kolkotta, and they expected me to work on Saturdays full day, with 2-3% salary hike. There were many more namunas after that.
Go for good startups. Those will change your life.
Have worked with the firm for couple of years. Have one of the worst engineering culture I have seen. Basically a lala corp that would completely fk with your sanity if you're coming straight out of college. It's good that you were rejected.
This is definitely an incompetent setup to notify candidates. Keeping aside the issues with this email, I'll still say that is atleast a good approach to let candidates know if they are rejected. In my opinion, this is better than normal ghosting by HR.
Wtf is this! New level of hypocrisy unlocked! I have been part of startups, never had such weird issue. But again there are tons of startups so can’t say on behalf of all.
This is really bad, if they don’t want to hire then why are they interviewing in the first place. “You cleared, but you are rejected” never thought that these two words can be used in same sentence!
Stay away from Indian startups- most of them are run by jokers just trying to siphon money from investors or if they go big- from retail investors.

When non-developers work with no code SaaS, they tend to overlook at edge cases. Hence this abomination of an email.
A developer would have spent more time thinking if they should use == or === in a condition than the time spent on the entire “no code solution“.
Email them back and explain what may be causing this bug. Tell them that if people like you were hired you would implement x, y and z to make sure this does not happen and the image of the company is always kept in high regard. Thank them for their time interviewing you.
Aapne Interview clear Kar Diya.
This means I'm Hired right?.

Also this gives me Aapko woh red button dikh Raha Hai. Haan daba Diya.

In Startups if you answer two three questions correctly it can come to a stage where you prove him wrong. That is why they usually end up in ego fights. so the less you know the better.

What can you expect from someone who just created salesforce icon using MS paint.

I think she confused variable overloading and method overloading.
What's variable overloading
Variable overloading is available only in Python. But I think I got confused too while replying, because it is not applicable in this situation.
Generally found in languages with dynamic variables like python. Instead of explaining it to you, ill give an example: a = 10 print(a) a = "Bing Chilling" print(a) a = ["your","mom","has",a] print(a) I hate reddit mobile, why cant i just hit enter
So basically in same method "print" you are seperating the logic based on data type

Men! 🤮
You can achieve what she is trying to do with generics though

Work on the weekends also? unacceptable. How much salary they will provide. did they provide any extra for this over duty ?
Wtf , how the hell is method overloading achieved by different return types.
"you've been promoted to customer" vibes

As a fresher I don't have any expectations but had previously worked on MERN stack at internship
can you describe the hiring process and technical queations asked ? also ctc if u could.

No one is making fun of you, it's just a very badly thought out code design
startups: we dont care u all just slaves startups : evil laugh
These people seriously need a good copy writer. or the HR needs to get some english classes
Nah, from the looks of it, seems like an automated email from an ATS that models “rejected” as just another stage in the hiring process lol.
I had multiple rounds with same person who claimed he wanted to know me better and when I pinged him got an automated rejection email.
When they fail to content check a automation email
Shrodinger's job
Did they automate this shit ?
From the looks of it, yes. someone needs to check the CI pipeline.
Should one be sad that he’s rejected or happy that it’s been done promptly without the usual “ll call you back” template
They are trying to hard to be like Elon Musk.
These all BS, i want my own startup but again everyone has the same thought we don't have that one idea that will boom
I am create a logistics software tool. Interested?
If this is their rejection mail u just dodged a bullet
lmao what ?
i hope whoever planned on this gets terrible explosive diarrhoea
They forget to add full stop after next round
Bruh, who did they hire to build their recruitment system 😭
Master level trolling from the company lol
Incompetent people. Imagine how dumb you must be to be writing such mails. And to imagine such people actually having jobs. Smh.
Post it in r/ProgrammerHumor.
I would suggest you to cross post it you will get awards and karma. And by cross posting you can give credit to OP too.
Lmfaooo
They had us in the first half, not gonna lie
It looks like Task failed successfully. 🌚
Idk why but I hate Salesforce 💀
Damn, cold but at least now we know not to apply to these guys. Thanks for naming and shaming, OP.

Atleast look up the name of city if you dont know.
They said that I had to WFO, when pandemic 2nd phase was just starting. After 3 months of that interview, several states imposed lockdown once again

I heard bildemp.com is hiring

They are just trying to look cool because such type of memes go viral on Instagram.
Lmao
Looks like someone messed up the implementation of their FEM.

At least hide your PII, I thought that was an unsaid rule on reddit.
I had an interview scheduled this evening for this company. Woke up to see this!
Email them back and explain what may be causing this bug. Tell them that if people like you were hired you would implement x, y and z to make sure this does not happen and the image of the company is always kept in high regard. Thank them for their time interviewing you.
Well, i guess you can be happy that you didn't get selected to a company of morons.
CloudKaptans are a bunch of fools eating funds and not creating shit.

Thanks now i can keep in mind to blacklist this company

If you want to join a startup, try giving interviews to those companies who are us based msme.
It's not a startup. It's a Lala Company managed by the Aggarwal family. Every senio leader is a family member! Nepotism 🍸
