As much protein and fiber as you want. Same with healthy fats (olive oil, avocados, etc) 3 macro nutrients, if you need to cut to 25 grams of carbs, the full day of calories then must come from protein and fat.

There are no set rules. Eat according to your meter.

The plate method is pretty simple. I only pay attention to carbs and keep them at 50 per day, the fats and proteins work themselves out.

A diabetic doesn’t need specific protein or fiber amounts.

I am t1 but this is the food guide chart they used when I was a kid in the 90s. It’s a general guide. [https://managingdiabeteswithfood.weebly.com/diabetes-food-guide.html](https://managingdiabeteswithfood.weebly.com/diabetes-food-guide.html)

I keep the calories at bay. Hoarding some weight is not good IMO. I eat about 60 carbs a day and fuels my body. rest is just a bonus.

Agree with the others, there are not set rules. I've seen [this TDEE calculator](https://tdeecalculator.net/result.php?s=imperial&age=42&g=female&lbs=165&in=66&act=1.2&bf=&f=1) offered as a jumping-off point for making up a macro plan over on r/loseit, for whatever that's worth. Plug in your stats, scroll down to the Macronutrients header, decide if you're maintaining, cutting, or bulking, and have a look at the three macro plans offered. Keep in mind they're just suggestions, and you can tweak them until they meet your personal needs/wants.
