It's a scam, they will say they will say they are trying to send you the money if you accept the offer and then say they can't send the money because of this and that and then ask you to do buy a gift card or something like that, So just block and move on or play along if you want just don't do anything they say.

Honestly, 300 could be a pretty bad deal, depending on the volume and type of chat. This could be pretty high effort. Get some better details, and make sure you have their credit card number and that three digit number on the back. To validate their age. Of course.
