Options: * Change death to a bonus action to add 1d10 necrotic damage on next melee attack (regardless of type) * Allow him to deal necrotic damage whenever a spell or feature would be radiant (to benefit Inescapable Death) * Give Withering Contact the ability to be activated as a reaction when you take damage from a melee attack as well. These are all obviously going to make it more powerful, (that's the point) however using bonus or reactions means that they are replacing other potential uses of those actions so that its not just an always on bonus. The second bonus is mainly for show because VERY few things resist radiant anyways, but this allows the player to be more thematically in touch with the gift.

Another thing I added: **Demising Presence.** When you use your Lay on Hands ability to heal a creature, you can choose to also deal necrotic damage equal to half the amount of hit points regained to all creatures within 10 feet of the target.

What is the Deadly/Deathly Touch? I can't find any info on it.

Source: Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft The Dark Powers influence many who struggle within their clutches, tempting both the innocent and ambitious with whispered promises. These sinister bargains are rarely spoken, coming in dreams or mysterious visions, but their terms are always clear and their prices terrible Death Touch. You can focus your deadly touch against your foes. As an action, make one unarmed strike. On a hit, the target takes an additional 1d10 necrotic damage. This damage increases by 1d10 when you reach 5th level (2d10), 11th level (3d10), and 17th level (4d10). Inescapable Death. When you hit a target with an attack roll and deal necrotic damage, you ignore the target's resistance to that damage. Withering Contact. When you start your turn grappling a creature or grappled by it, the creature takes 1d10 necrotic damage.

Also give them the unarmed fighting style? This will make Death Touch more effective for making the unarmed strike, and grappling more effective for Withering Contact. Also consider allowing them to choose from radiant or necrotic damage for divine smite; this makes Inescapable Death better. (Let them use divine smite with unarmed strikes too!).

Good idea

Ahh, I was looking through CoS. Hmm, you could allow him to make smites necrotic to bypass resistances.
