Apparently RTD was trying to arrange a crossover with Star Trek Enterprise during his first run but the timing didn't work out because the show got cancelled almost as soon as his version of Who began.
Doctor Who and Scooby-Doo. Coolsville gets attacked by aliens and The Gang is convinced they're people in tacky costumes until they try to unmask a Cyberman.
If Doctor Who was popular in America and The New Scooby Movies lined up with it, you'd absolutely have gotten an episode where they crossed over with the Fourth Doctor. But Pertwee would have been the one at the time.
Didn't the most recent episode make a joke about a trek crossover? Maybe I misheard. With the Q like powerset of Maestro and Toymaker and the threat of more like them, I'd love it if John Delancey plays one of them this season.
Warhammer 40k. Imagine the doctor witnessing the state of humanity in that timeline. A story about an exterminatus of a planet that the doctor tries to prevent.
Well, its double galaxy wide genocide via a magic button (which didn't work as both species still exist) vs many "normal" genocides made by guns, blade and sometimes even by hand. Which is darker? Like for real, not just looking at numbers.
Enjoy one of the [best crossover fanfictions I've ever read](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/3486089/1/The-Man-With-No-Name), then. (And 90% of the crossover fanfictions I've read are Doctor Who-based.)
As far as I'm concerned, this fanfic is the cannonical end to Firefly. It ties up all the loose ends left dangling at the end of Serenity, and brings all the crew members' character arcs to a resolution in such a satisfying way. And it's a damn good story, to boot! (Plus, the Doctor's interactions with the crew are so good-- I literally haven't re-read this fic in over half a decade and I still get misty-eyed thinking about some moments.)
I’m aware also there is another reference in fallout 3 (I think it was new Vegas it’s been a while) where there was hostile skeletons in space suits being a reference (the one where we saw river song i forgot the name of the episode)
Any tokusatsu property would be interesting. Daleks teaming up with Shocker and the Doctor teaming up with Kamen Rider or him investigating a kaiju in Ultraman.
Doctor Who and Blakes 7. An opportunity sorely missed by Terry Nation in the 80s.
But if you're going to go with the Pantheon and such eldritch forces, maybe a Sapphire and Steel cross over would be better.
I want a mass effect crossover. I have the weirdest feeling the doctor would be impervious to indoctrination seeing as time lords are the oldest civilization and have strong mental defenses against mind control. I’d love to see him tell off a reaper.
I said it before but I'll say it again Id love a Star Trek DS9 crossover. Also a X-Files episode where Scully and Mulder are just investigating the aftermath of one of the Doctor's adventures. A Land of the Lost crossover could also work well. I've actually been bouncing around a Scooby Doo crossover where the seventh Doctor mysteriously finds himself in 1960s Appalachia without memory of landing there but his TARDIS is there so clearly he must've. There he encounters the mystery gang shortly after they definitely solved a case of Skunk Ape and he meets Scooby Doo who he mistakes for a Whifferdil at first, but upon realizing he's supposed to be an actual dog... Well things progressively more and more off until he figures out what's going on.
DS9 is my favorite, and I can't help but wish we could have seen the TARDIS on the Promenade or in a cargo bay. I also wish we could have seen the crew of Red Dwarf sitting in Quark's. 😄 My head canon is that Galifrey was in the Beta Quadrant.
Doctor Who + Rick and Morty.
The Doctor and Rick are great parallels.
I'd love to see a fight (The Doctor STOMPS ik) and show the Doctor show mercy and Rick have a emotional moment about it.
I'm surprised that got >!referenced in one of today's episodes!<
Apparently RTD was trying to arrange a crossover with Star Trek Enterprise during his first run but the timing didn't work out because the show got cancelled almost as soon as his version of Who began.
Does that make it canon?
*wink*
Percy jackson. Doctor + greek myth would be 🔥🔥🔥
I’m watch a eps rn where the tenth doctor is in Rome AHHHH THE POTENTIAL

If there can be an Archie / Punisher crossover, then your idea should definitely get a greenlight!
Didn't the most recent episode make a joke about a trek crossover? Maybe I misheard. With the Q like powerset of Maestro and Toymaker and the threat of more like them, I'd love it if John Delancey plays one of them this season.
Yeah >We should go there sometime
A trek crossover would be the best thing ever. There’s a comic but..I need an episode. lol
I need a full crossover so there's an episode for Doctor Who and one for \*insert Trek series here\* Maybe SNW?
SNW would be a great candidate for that! Considering DISCO is wrapping up and Lower Decks too. I would love to see The Doctor and Spock interact!!
That would be fascinating.
Indeed!
A Stargate crossover episode would be awesome too. If only Atlantis was still on the air. That would be awesome.
I can’t get over how good the idea of a Doctor Who/Fleabag crossover sounds.
That would be awesome.
Evangelion. I know that theres a FanFic about it but I wanna see Shinji as a full on companion!
Where is this fanfic? I need to read it.
Warhammer 40k. Imagine the doctor witnessing the state of humanity in that timeline. A story about an exterminatus of a planet that the doctor tries to prevent.
To dark i feel. Like, DW can be dark, but is never as gritty as wh40k can be. Not as punchy. The galaxy of 40k would break the doctor
Nah I don’t think so, no one ever did a universe wide double genocide in wh40k
Well, its double galaxy wide genocide via a magic button (which didn't work as both species still exist) vs many "normal" genocides made by guns, blade and sometimes even by hand. Which is darker? Like for real, not just looking at numbers.
It is in the other BBC show Blake 7 universe so that cross over would be cannon.
What?
I wish to see a Doctor Who/Firefly crossover in this life time.

That speech the Doctor gives to convince Mal to take him on as a passenger...it's such a perfect Tenth Doctor moment.
Thanks for the recommendation.
Seconded!
I’d actually rather like him to rock up in the world of Horizon: Zero Dawn/Forbidden West. Him and Aloy would be such a pair.
The SCP Foundation. Toymaker basically now has a file for containment in UNIT Now The Maestro feels like an SCP
The doctor in the fallout universe. I would like to see his reaction to the old u.s and the factions that came from it.
The TARDIS can be found as an Easter Egg in one of the games FYI. 😁
I’m aware also there is another reference in fallout 3 (I think it was new Vegas it’s been a while) where there was hostile skeletons in space suits being a reference (the one where we saw river song i forgot the name of the episode)
Silence in the library, lol just rewatched that episode today.
Check out the mod fallout who vegas
With the show now being hooked up to Disney, perhaps a quick trip to the Star Wars universe. Make the Doctor involved with the creation of Jedi.
"Dropped off a robot with my voice here ten thousand years ago for a bunch of wizards so they could make laser swords. Probably fine."
I read this in 11's voice and it fits perfectly.
Leaving aside the fact that Faction Paradox is already connected to Doctor Who, I'd love to see stuff from that come into the main show.
Well he has kinda appeared in the Marvel universe in the comics so could appear in the MCU now Disney have a deal.
There's an easter egg in one of the Red Dwarf model shots where the TARDIS is hiding there. I would love to see the actual crossover.
... 👀.... SCP universe
Any tokusatsu property would be interesting. Daleks teaming up with Shocker and the Doctor teaming up with Kamen Rider or him investigating a kaiju in Ultraman.
Doctor who meets firefly.
I’d love to see the torchwood 3 Team with Supernatural

I desperately want to he him crossover with transformers
I did wonder earlier if The Doctor would Sonic a Hedgehog.
Wh40k
Me × doctor who (in all seriousness toh live action and doctor who)
Dead Space, I’d be curious to see The Doctor vs the marker
no. No crossovers needed.
yo that pic is my profile banner
sherlock
Peaky fucking Blinders!
It’s already happened. In the comics
I want a mass effect crossover. I have the weirdest feeling the doctor would be impervious to indoctrination seeing as time lords are the oldest civilization and have strong mental defenses against mind control. I’d love to see him tell off a reaper.
I had a Doctor Who meets Harry Potter idea a loooong time ago but I cannot remember any of it though I have some sketches I did of some cover ideas
Star Trek. Easy. SNW would have just the perfect mood for that
Doctor who and if possible Tenacious D should get a TV show, so there can be Jack Black in Dr who

Rick and Morty, as Devil's Chord had that kind of feel to is.
Commander Shepard from Mass Effect.
The Vicar of Dibley 🤣
Pokemon
My favorite episode is the one where Gandalf takes the TARDIS to Hogwarts and uses its phasers to defeat the Empire and save Narnia.
