Honestly, this episode seemed to nail all of the predictions to be able to address them all so the actual reveal was still a surprise. Ruby's mum called it 'the Beast', when the Doctor mentioned time changing and the black cloud started to appear I thought that's the Trickster's MO, part of the Master's theme started to play towards the end and Susan mentioned dreaming of orange skies which could imply Gallifrey and so her being a timelord. Because of all of those meaning I was constantly guessing, the Sutekh reveal still seemed shocking even though it had been predicted and makes sense because it felt like the twist could have gone a number of ways and still worked. A satisfying cliffhanger even though there are still lots of questions unanswered!

I can't see this happening. I feel like the Beast only works as well as it does because of all the things left unsaid. We come out of that episode not really knowing who or what "the Beast" is, other than the obvious. He's the devil, supposedly, but the thing that makes that episode so great is the fact that even that is left up in the air. I feel as if an explanation would cheapen that somewhat.

I'm calling it now- there's something going on with Carla. They made an effort to put her in the Time Window scene and then she called the dark cloud "The Beast". I don't know whether she's related to SuTeck or Susan but there's something deeper there.
So glad I'm not the only one. Some of the shots of her were just odd. Like when she came up to the floor after being detained at UNIT, there was a super weird vibe when she came into the room

It could also be the other way around. Suthek died "for good" in that Black Hole, but the Doctor still has to put him into the asteroid prison in his current incarnation, so that past events unfold like they did.

Just finished the episode... damn the prosthetics team are putting that new money to work! Also the enemy is kind of... cute? Maybe it's just my affinity for creatures of that kind but I would happily adopt them as my pet if they weren't so evil.
