Moondogereddit

This has to be a troll

Traditional_Range_96

No. Its dumb. $2 a trip dd can kiss my ass no receipt pic for them

Kanein_Encanto

Don't forget to tune in next week folk, for the obligatory "I got deactivated for no reason!" post!

MoneyPrestigious8492

I get that prompt sometimes on regular restaurant orders.

PennX88

these are anti fraud measures they starting doing awhile ago

Ranman5982

I don't know that 5 seconds it takes to take a pic might be the last straw.

Mtn-Dooku

The extra step of... taking a picture? Goddamn some of you clowns are really entitled that taking a picture of a receipt is "extra steps". Good god, go get a "real" job if this bothers you so much. On second though, don't. You'll be raging at that job by the end of the day if snapping a 5 second pic is too taxing for you.

Traditional_Range_96

Have you taken a doordash picture? “Phone tilted try again”, “photo too dark try again”(while flash was on already).

Mtn-Dooku

Yeah, on 95% of my drop offs. You just immediately take another pic. It's a picture, not writing a term paper.

zerostar83

Yeah. They used to not require it. Then they did back in the beginning of 2023. Then stopped again. Now it's back up.

Weary_Attention7158

They do it to protect YOUR Dasher rating incase the customer complains that they got the wrong order, they didn't receive it, etc.

DeanOfYou

It's about the easiest and most common sense step ever. The fact that they didn't do it before was ridiculously stupid.

Infinite-Proof3053

OMG what will you ever do!!!!!

Kanein_Encanto

Isn't it obvious? Cry about it on reddit, of course. Lol
