Def try the other apps! Instacart can be fun if you like shopping, Ubers app is total dog poop but the orders can be good! I’m sure if you keep trying with doordash too, maybe if you feel confident enough call and talk to a supervisor and explain everything about DasherDirect and what happened and they might be able to help more. It sounds like you should be able to get this overturned. Just focus on yourself, you are good at what you do 💖

I've called again they always say there isn't a supervisor and a specialist team will email you. I've had this with other issues in the past and I never heard back from them. They just keep telling me to wait till I hear back from them. I wish instacart would take me in, I was on waitlist for 2 years and I reached out to their support and they decided to re-submit my application on my behalf without me consenting to it. I forgot about that. I would love to shop though. No way in

Dash help for customers is... well... I love the chickens clucking in the background. And the word 'supervisor' is a shortcut to 30 seconds of music and a click. Good luck.
I found out its due to an error with their facial scan that they do around background check time. If it fails once it automatically deactivates you and then from that point you're at the mercy of the offshore ignorance of them actually checking if its you or not. So I'm 100% screwed, the facial scan failed the first and passed the second :(
My only source of happiness was lost to a failed facial scan.
Oh no 😟 that seems so messed up that things like glasses etc can just screw you so much! I’m really rooting for you that this will be fixed asap. ATM just try really really hard to get through the rough nights when things feel so much worse and keep trying to get through to the appeals. Do you have anything else atm to help pass the time? A video game? Mobile game? Movies? Clearly you did nothing wrong but it’s just a waiting game and being persistent. I’m just so sorry and I hate that it’s hurting you atm.
Denied my appeal for abuse of the platform, specifically "Fraud"
Despite my upload of a selfie with my id right next to my face and several other photos of personal info only I would have related to my own account.
They're doing this to get rid of drivers intentionally imo, lawsuit material.
Not sure DD is really a solution to your problems. This might be a blessing in disguise as you are not going to find true happiness doing DD for a company that doesn't care about you or any of us.
I'd say find a local church and go. Doesn't matter if you are a believer or not, a good church often has a very accepting and friendly environment and you may actually meet people who stay in your life, rather than the few seconds of human interaction you get doing DD.
What's good for you is you already have a job so you don't have to worry about DD as a source of income. You are likely going to get your DD account back, it's just a matter of time.

Hell nah, they do reactivate if you email support with evidence and reach out. all hope not lost if it’s really just the scan thing
And also try to get someone who’s not active to borrow an account for now if possible. It’s less restricted compared to Uber anyway

All you can do now is wait for the dispute. Sign up for other apps. Amazon flex, Uber, spark, grub hub, etc.
They're all booked or dead unfortunately, my area is extremely saturated with gig workers.
Shipt opened up recently with their Target Circle 360 implementation.
Join a club, take up a hobby, join a friendly church. This is beyond a Doordash discussion, honestly. Talk to the therapist ASAP.
