I just got both of them and they both are a lot of fun. But I prefer the mini already because it doesn't need my phone to fly. The atom is extremely impressive though especially for the price.
I haven't been doing as much filming with the potensic. I got the mini 4 and also collision detector on the DJI and not the potensic which is worth it in my opinion.
I watched a lot of videos comparing the Mini 4K vs Potensic Adam 4K, and I decided to by the Potensic.
The Potensic fly more package is available on Amazon for $349 and it includes a carry case, 2 batteries, charging hub and extra blades... so it's basically $100 cheaper than a DJI Mini 4K fly more setup.
I've flown the Potensic a few times and it's easy to navigate, has more built-in flight options than the Mini 4K, and shoots fantastic pictures and videos. The Potensic setup includes waypoints which is a nice feature.
I have not tested the max range of 4km on the Potensic, but the Mini 4K does report 10km max range.
I never fly that far, so max range was not important to me.
Both drones require the use of a smartphone to navigate via their flight apps, and neither have obstacle avoidance.
Personally, I think you will be happy with either drone and both are a great deal for the money.

That’s so cool! How’s the quality of the Potensic video/camera? And range? Also what mini do you have ?
Video looks great and is very stable. Range is 4km.
The video quality of the atom is mega in the atom, see this video https://youtu.be/SIvqZaxHogA I've had the atom for about 5 months and love it.
the remote looks weird
