Carrefour is extremely incompetent when it comes to pricing. I’ve seen so many errors similar to this 😂.
Everyone please don’t rely on the pricing in their aisles. The aisles would say less but the cashier would say more.
That's what I do.
I went up to a guy and asked him the price of an item on the shelf.... Without looking at me he said "price is there on the ticket"...I said really? So why does this scanner say 50aed higher?
He looked and couldn't move the price tag quick enough.
Another time I saw a mobile phone price that looked good value. I went up buy it and the price came up higher... The supervisor had the cheek to tell me that's the price of the display item 😂😂🤣😂
Saw one on gdiose, two 1.5L nawar oil was packaged together and labeled as special offer with a price of 23 AED. Then just above it, a 3L nawar oil without special offer tag was priced at 17AED. 😅
ALWAYS ALWAYS check the bar code and make fuss about it.
Too many sneaky places in Dubai with big chain names are tricking the customers with incorrect pricing and "oh so sorry" after you point it out!
There should be more than just "oh so sorry"...
During Corona days. I saw facemasks on deal for 15 dirhams on sale aisle and same exact masks for 10 dirhams on the face mask aisle.
The truth is the majority of us don't know the original price. We just flock to the aisle where we see the words 'discounted', 'sale', 'deal' and 'offer'.
Supermarkets now have started to exploit this. If someone will point it out, they will have the excuse of saying it's a human error.
Always check the prices in C4. Lots of shelf promotions are always a lot more at the checkout.
It has happened so often it makes you wonder whether it policy rather than genuine mistakes!

Carrefour is an unethical grocery store altogether
Sure thing. That’s why I used to take things from their shelves without paying

supports genocide. boycott
They used to have a reporting service earlier
Underpaid overexploited staff and this is the result
Use the share app and get one of those self checkout scanners if available and then you can scan and know the price right away.

Last price bruddah?
Best price brother.
18 last
Ok! 20. No more bargaining. Take it.
OK, 22 will give you a good quality bag.
Ok my friend… final price 24 including delivery charges… otherwise 26 without delivery charges
Take it and go 🤣
Ey that will be 30 inc. vat!!
Bro this works. People just see OFFER and buy. I once saw an offer 2 for 24 while one is 11
**Do there is a law regarding the promotion / discount in UAE ?** I'm still surprised to see all year long discount everywhere.
Yeah. Everytime they run an offer, they need to take a permit from ministry of economy. Have seen it stuck on premises of some shops.
They must love Pierre Cardin.
Balmain! You buy one….and get 3 free!
90% discount… all 13 months a year
And to buy one you’ll need to give up your entire inheritance
What? Why is that?
1) govt gets money. 2) consumer protection.
Consumer protection for discounts? Or corporate protection?
someone's bouta get fired
And not have their passport handed back to them
And why
Whoooo

Sad part is people see the bigger number and grab the deal
I like their t shirt pricing, jumps from 20 to 10 and back every week.

Atleast they are honest .
And they call it a "Crazy Eid Deal!"
Well... It's a crazy deal, they didn't lie.

Inflation bro
Wtf are they trying to portray here 😭😭😭
Someone definitely lied abt being good at math👀
This worse than one I saw in lulu. It was a cake. The Original price was struck out and the "Deal" price was written below. Both the price were same.
TBF he didnt mention if it was a good or a bad deal.
And then I will be told “ I have MBA from this country “….
Lolll
🤣
cause lower the price is too mainstream
What’s this
I think it was for bottles of water

Now’s that’s a massive price drop 💀
Should be Buy1Get1 then...
Still an offer, take it or leave it 😂
So the retailer gets a discount.
😂
I remember bundled items cost more together than buying them individually
As a blue-eyed westerner, I get these special prices all the time!
Dubai is not for beginners.
Last brice Habibi .
Lol, take the supermarket to DED, and then watch the meltdown with popcorn.
Pop corn. Old price 11AED Discounted 16AED
😂😂
Don’t be going around giving me ideas 😂
Lol and people will still buy
Yeah seen this. Also carrefour has the worst app.
Hahahahahaha
LOL 😆 🤣

The math ain't mathing!
What is the discounted item?
