That cabinet is pure love, looks as if it’s seen hard times. But hopefully the plug is GFCI protected for the smoky mountain rain.
And we all know they woulda done better if ray wasn’t yellin at the apprentice Stevie wonder to “hit the road Jack”
That's my favorite part. The escutcheon plate just haphazardly laying there. "An attempt was made", while technically correct, somehow seems like it gives too much credit.
I’ve said it before and ill say it again. It amazes me how cabinets installers have a saying that you live or die by a 1/16th of an inch then fully send it like this when cutting out plumbing and electrical outlets
At this point it makes more sense to cut a larger hole all the way around so it looks like you meant to do it. The “give-afuck-meter” was dangerously low on this one
Neither the plumbing or electrical should be this far ahead before the cabinet is installed.
This is on everyone other than the cabinet guy… who did the worse job of all. This is on the GC or super. (Im a super, so I can blame my kind)

This is why no one likes the cabinet guys
>This is why no one likes *hack jobs* FTFY. All trades have them; sparkys, plumbers, hvac, roofers, carpenters. Just do better
Exactly
Ray Charles and Ronnie Milsap formed a cabinet company?
Haven’t seen a loss yet.
Well we should have seen this coming.
That cabinet is pure love, looks as if it’s seen hard times. But hopefully the plug is GFCI protected for the smoky mountain rain. And we all know they woulda done better if ray wasn’t yellin at the apprentice Stevie wonder to “hit the road Jack”
Even the receptacles are shocked. 😮
It's OK they put an escutcheon plate on it
That's my favorite part. The escutcheon plate just haphazardly laying there. "An attempt was made", while technically correct, somehow seems like it gives too much credit.
That's just temporary, don't worry, he ordered an oversized escutcheon and an oversized faceplate.
That’s actually why I took the pic in the first place then looked to the back wall of the cabinet and said “oh man”
Hahah the escutcheon was so bad I didn't even notice the plug
I’ve said it before and ill say it again. It amazes me how cabinets installers have a saying that you live or die by a 1/16th of an inch then fully send it like this when cutting out plumbing and electrical outlets
No one's ever gonna see it right!? (Except for the homeowner quite frequently, but fuck em)
You plumbers think you’re very funny, ya?
This is just poor workmanship all around.
One thing I hate about pex. It looks like shit when it’s stubbed out.
The escutcheon plate is killing me
Plumbing sure looked a lot better when it was done in copper
Same guys do the plumbing?!
Then you get the call from the gc "why is the outlet over cut?" Idk dude I didn't cut it
At this point it makes more sense to cut a larger hole all the way around so it looks like you meant to do it. The “give-afuck-meter” was dangerously low on this one
yeah we gave it to the lowest bid
😬
Even the outlet is shocked!
So somebody installs cabinets but can't successfully use a tape measure? 😬
Oh Agony!
Neither the plumbing or electrical should be this far ahead before the cabinet is installed. This is on everyone other than the cabinet guy… who did the worse job of all. This is on the GC or super. (Im a super, so I can blame my kind)
At least the cover screw is up and down… mostly
Not a plumber, but why mix the shark bite connector with the expansion ones? (PS cab cutout was bad)
Laziness.
Looks a little bit illegal.
Those look like the cpvc PTC quarter turn shut offs, not the pex ones. I’m probably wrong though.
Those sharkbites are terrible!
