That’s frustrating unless you have people willing to. I can’t stand the guilt tripping/ mandatory call ins. Like leave your family to come to work, your loyalty lies with us, not your family.
I’ve found that you can end most guilt trips with “yeah I don’t actually care” or “sounds like a you problem, idgaf”.
If I worked somewhere that did mandatories, I’d make sure they were receiving at least one attitude complaint for every hour I was on shift. They’ll either avoid mandatory-ing me ever again or fire me. At which point I’ll take my happy ass to a service that doesn’t mandatory people.
Alternatively if you aren’t actively getting off shift, tell them you’re 8 shots into a bottle
911/IFT (private and considered rural). If we don’t there’s guilt trips and/ or a mandatory call in list. Meanwhile other services are paying an additional hourly and time and a half if you’re already in OT and some that are paying a flat rate to pick up OT.
I was just curious mainly because i’ve started seeing other companies that are hiring advertise incentives for call ins and wanted to know how normal this is elsewhere.
Night shift and weekend differential. If we work a truck on a game day, we get a shift stipend. Also just got 5% cost of living raises. Really can’t complain at all.
We get OT for any time worked beyond our regularly scheduled shift
If we pick up an additional shift, it's considered all OT (even if it's in our 36hr week). We also get mileage and commuting time compensation both to and from station. Additionally, we get to pick which station from the available stations.
We get to make rent if we pick up OT
what’s an incentive
I'd accept a bullet through my skull...in roblox
0....and $0 extra paid. Actually, they have been limiting our hours to avoid paying OT.
We used to get double time for every shift picked up. Now we’re fully staffed and get nothing

That’s typically my go to “I’ve been drinking”
Over 40 hours is always 1.5x time. Certain shifts are 2x time, and some other less frequent shifts are 2.5x time.
So aside from the obvious time and a half and I assume holidays. If you get called in do you get anything extra?
We don’t get called in. If I’m off the schedule you can fondle my limp dick.
Well that sounds hard.
Any time over our minimum weekly is pay and a half. That helps a lot.
None, there is also no force back since it’s an IFT company

Better equipment, and my station is less than a mile from the house. Basically I’m complacent.

Holy shit.
Double my hourly wage
None. Incentives in general include extra $1 / hr for nightshift

Basics $250-$500, medics $350-$750. Granted base pay is dookie On top of hourly pay
Sometimes I'd get cold lunch dropped off to our rig.
Pizza. Are there any other incentives?
Instead of 1 crumb I get 2
Sounds like you work for Oliver Twist’s orphanage.
Consider yourself, at home, consider yourself partofthe family lmao
Oh Jesus yes, the hiring process too… “we’re like one big family” 🤢

This is what I’m looking for. Thank you.
At one point in 2021 the company was offering 3x sporadically.

I work MWF 13s and I picked up today knowing I’d do like 3 calls and get paid to watch CFB, so far so good haha.
I don’t understand the question. Doesn’t everyone make time and a half or double time if they are on overtime?
So one company in particular pays an additional $6/hr plus time and a half.
One time dispatch let us get a lunch.
Incentive? I’ve heard of that. I know it’s a word. I know what it means in theory. But not in reality.
