Dread League with Undead Mare and the nation itself being so old it’s probably dead
The DED rework will truly be the greatest necromancy spell casted ever
One time I was doing a multiplayer game with my friend and we had the Demand It mod active (for those that don't know the mod let's you demand states be given to you, demand vassalization, or tribute. Now my friend was playing the Griffonian Empire and didn't want to wait for the Black Crusade to be declared since he was already, ready for it and he went and demanded Magehold be given to him because surely the AI wouldn't hand over it's capital and main source of basically everything. Well as it turns out they did infact hand over Magehold which immediately caused the Dread League to fucking capitulate and restore the Arcturian Order.
Yeah, they get insane debuffs to resarch, don't get any technology except for primitive weapons.
And finally worst of all, very often they get river confederation on their border.
I'd say in correct circumstances (without any major on border) playing black league isn't as hard as it is annoying and boring
I kinda wish the April fools event was doable. Like, you’d have to have a really good standing army to fight them or something. Could be a fun late game challenge if they activate.
A sort of Game of Thrones White Walkers if that’s not already the case
Last win with them for me was shortly after Zebrica dropped. Declare early to keep the tech gap as narrow as possible and use maintenance companies and literally anything else that steals equipment.
Gotta give it another shot and see if that still works out..
Setting them on dread flood is an incredible experience. Basically turns the mod into Muv Luv. I was playing collaborationist polar bears and it was probably the only time the entire road to 56 tech tree became relevant as I scrabbled for any edge I could possibly get. The entire continent of Griffonia was overrun and I was desperately fighting off any beachheads on Equus. Naval and air supremacy was just about the only thing keeping the apocalypse at bay because their land units were just impossible to kill without nukes.

Same, max buffs gave them dread apocalypse,i think they took 3 tiles.

How difficult is it to conquer the world by playing for the league?
Very. So much so it really is not recommended to try it (It's outdated bad content anyways. If you really want to tho enable Dread Flood)

Only one of my games they lost to the crusaders but they always stoped there
That's Vampire Rosa, she's easy to beat. Try fighting them with Dread Flood active, see how well you do...
