Me too if any one can help

I will have 2 at least, possibly 3 spare for this since the flights are just insanely expensive (£500+) and I don't know what decent alternative I can do since I'm seeing Green Day the day before. The reason I even have 4 tickets is because I chose 1 ticket and then tried another, got a message that the two were not next to each other and realised I can't just add another pair without deleting the entire lot I already had, so I have 4 😅 I'm willing to sell face value nearer to the time if that helps - I'm more likely to give it to whoever can solve my travel problems Edit: I meant I have 4 tickets to RO16 1C which is the same venue I believe? Sorry

Fly to Eindhoven or Amsterdam and get the train?

gooner712004

That's my bet at the moment, but rather a connecting flight from Amsterdam. I actually saw prices for flights decrease which I didn't know was possible. I'm gonna keep an eye on it because I can't even buy them until England 100% make top of the group.

LetMeBuildYourSquad

Nice, good luck. I have QF and SF tickets for England's route if we top our group and am flying out to Cologne for a week as a base. Going to the games whatever happens but just praying to whatever higher power there may be that England top the group and don't slip up haha

gooner712004

I'm going to those ones too and I even have a ticket for the other semi final if that messes up too 😅 I can see some complacency slipping in and even in the last few tournaments where we've been brilliant, we don't tend to play our best football in the groups so it's worrying! Are you taking the entire time off when you're out there or WFH remotely or something? I don't think I could do the same without sacrificing some events in London I'm going to, but you're making me consider doing the same thing

LetMeBuildYourSquad

Ah congrats - let's hope for the best! I'm very worried we fail to beat Denmark and then also get complacent and only draw against one of Serbia and Slovenia and end up finishing second... I'm hoping if the worst happens, I'll be able to find someone willing to swap tickets for one of the other quarters or semis and just make the trek from cologne on the train. If we do win our group, RO16 could be against Turkey which might be tricky as they have a talented squad and a lot of support in Germany. Plus one of Italy/Spain/Croatia in the quarters will be no easy task! Me and my mate are both working remotely out there - have taken annual leave for a couple of days but otherwise working remotely, found a good apartment in cologne that was pretty reasonable. I think it'll be well worth staying out there if you can, can't wait to finish work and wonder down to the fanzone in Cologne to watch the other games for example. Wish I was going for longer but at Glastonbury the weekend before!

gooner712004

Yeah I can totally see that happening, our first game is at the place we got knocked out of the 2006 WC I just learned 😅 If we finish 2nd we could even get the hosts Germany after we knocked them out of the last one, so that would really be the worst case scenario! If you're going to be in cologne and the semi final we go to is the one in Munich, is that still doable? I checked flights and train costs were really high for that time?

LetMeBuildYourSquad

To be honest I have no idea how doable it is, hoping it won't come to it 😂 I think a train would be about 4h and pricey, but would have to do it if I could swap my tickets

LetMeBuildYourSquad

Not sure what date you're seeing Green Day but you can fly to Eindhoven at 6am or 8am from Stansted on the day of the game and return the following day (or a day or two later) for £44 return with Ryanair. Then a train to Gelsenkirchen will take you about 3.5 hours, so should get you to match in plenty of time

LetMeBuildYourSquad

In fact, closer to 2 hours on the train! So you'd be there by around 1 - 2:30pm I imagine

LaStefan

Heey man I would like to have 2!

gooner712004

If you have any idea how I can get there on the day for cheap, I'll give you them 100%

LaStefan

check your dm

metal_head16

Hey man I am also interested to have 1!

Informal-Pay-9043

I can try to help solve your travel problems. Can you drive? Ferries are £90 return from certain places + fuel of course. I’m assuming you are UK based.

Floffy_Alpaca

Are you still selling tickets ?

Grouchy_Dog383

Please could I be considered for these tickets, I would happily pay over face value as I missed out on tickets in the lottery

gooner712004

Sure mate, I'll have to wait to get access to them obviously
