I CAN'T with that portrait, it looks like an asset from an indie horror game. It looks like if your character looks at it too long they begin to lose sanity and take damage.
That painting is a great example of malicious compliance. The artist has done paintings for them before and they were quite dull. Now he is painting nothing but these bright red ones. Some begin red and turn dull.
Perhaps the artist was inspired by the event.
The previews were known and seen during the painting process but not the final product. The painting was commissioned in 2020 when his mainstream work was beige and blue. This year, he started to reveal work that was in the style this one was. It really does make you wonder if one artist was inspired by another.
He saw it half completed, was surprised by the colour but liked it according to the bbc. The queen had also seen an early version and said it captured him well. The red uniform is also the uniform of the Welsh guards, who he has some kind of role with and he's worn the uniform.
Personally I like it, nice to see something different. There's probably a whole load of boring paintings of him out there
They took the blood, but not the glitter....
You have a point. Do we know who the artist of the painting is?
Jonathan Yeo
Are we sure that's not just someone from the band?
I'll just say, I've never seen the artist and LOTL in the same room at the same time.

Charles the Carpathian
That's exactly what it reminded me of!
Now he needs to meet Bambie and we can have the blue version.
Needs more glitter 🤗
Camilla's portrait will be covered in glitter

But surely this was approved before being unveiled to the public? Which is pretty metal of old Charles.

A lot of people are surprised when they find out just how metal Charles is.
Lizzie is so happy she could die
Lizzie took one look at the draft, realised she had experienced Peak Art, and promptly jumped off the planet
The butterfly effect 🦋
Lack of accountability is what could tie Charles III as a royal, and EBU as event organizer.
Who are they ?
King Charles
I think King Charles pronouns are he/him.
Aren’t royal pronouns usually “we”?
