I have a 1981 240D Mercedes Benz. It came with 55hp from the factory. When I’m trying to merge on the highway I turn off the AC and that’s what I’m thinking when I do it 😆😆😆
I learned to drive in my moms 83 240D….. always got scared turning into traffic…. Gotta drop that bad boy into 1st gear lolllll. But that thing was a tank….. I’m sure you remember hitting speed bumps at 50 and not feeling a thing
Hahaha love it.
In the XWing game from like 1992, you could change the distribution of power between thrust and shields and my friend's Geo Storm kinda felt the same way when you turned the A/C off and on.
My friend and I used to take turns flying. The other person got to be “R2” and diverted power, cycled the shields, and operated whatever else the keyboard did during a sortie.
Prisms used a Toyota 4 cylinder engine. You’re thinking of the Metros with the Suzuki 1.0l 3 cylinder. Very reliable motors. Got to 538K miles on one before donating the car. Still ran great. 1650lbs and a stick shift helped a lot.
A friend had a Metro in high school me. She would be parallel parked, and another friend and I could pick up one end and swing it out into the parking lot it was so light.
Same but 1980s Tercel automatic. The only thing slower was my friend’s Isuzu pup pickup automatic with a long bed. Yes we raced and didn’t even break the speed limit.
I found out last year. Both banks completely fucked. 2018 5.0 check engine light went off 3 days after I buy it, the dealer had it for 6 months and turned it back over to me. I shit you not, it died as I pulled it out of the garage, just choked and died. They bought it back from me for 10k less than I bought it for 6 months prior. I put less than 1k miles on that truck. I wish I could have sued. Sickens me.
So you were scammed when you bought it, and hated yourself so much you didn’t look up your states lemon laws and sold it back to the same dealer? lol, you must hate money.
When you’re running late night with lambos (I’d bet that one is twin turbo) for a 10k bet, a 10-12k whipple setup doesn’t even get you in the door. I do think it’s a whipple too, just not a base kit lol
$10-12k will get you boosted and making 800hp but that f150 probably has $20k in it at least. Thats a heavy truck its probably making over 1000hp to move that weight at Lamborghini speeds. The 10 speed helps too
I'd imagine that lambo weighs around 3400 lbs. That single cab f150 weighs 4 grand maybe, 600 lbs is a big difference for the bout. But I wouldn't emphasize "heavy" for that truck.
You couldnt be farther from correct and the 100 some odd up votes are also clueless…
Whipple - 10-12k
Wheels tires - pick your poison but probably 4-5k easy
Suspension - 2k
Fuel - 2k
Engine - OPG at a minimum, 500, more if you pay someone to do it… to be safe rods and pistons.. to be serious a sleeved block and rods/ pistons. Lets just say 5k to be safe
Transmission - could be a stock 10r80, not likely.. at a minimum its probably got a TC, maybe a built 10r, and possibly a Turbo 400
Misc - intake, exhaust, headers, catch cans, brakes, gauges, sensors.. you see where im going here.. lets say 4k with a chance at it easily totaling 6-7k
And then the all important tuning, i know we all have seen Brian Oconnor open a laptop and modify some tables but its going to cost substantially more.. ive spent $500 on a dyno just tracking done a wastegate issue.. lets assume to have a truck running efficiently like this video and continuously running after this video that we have 2k in tuning
We didnt really touch labor, but im sure we all are ASE certified with a machine shop in our basement, we can gloss over that one and also any parts that we may have destroyed, broke on install.. i think you get the point.
Stock coyote motors can push 1000hp without changing anything but the oil pump gear. On the cleetus youtube channel they had an awd shootout and most of the f150s were running whipples while 2 had twins. Most were running built 10r80s while a few had built turbo 400s if I remember correctly most of the trucks were done by midnight performance out of Texas.
People talk about the 2.7 being great because:
1. It's a popular, highly reliable, and relatively powerful choice, that covers everything that 90% of people are gonna do with an F150.
2. Historically the "I'll never buy anything with less than 8 cylinders" crowd has shit on the engine due to it being a forced induction V6. So people defend it. Though that seems to be changing as the engine is proven over time.
From what I have seen it does respond well to mods, due to the cast iron block. Lots of guys on youtube have strapped bigger turbos on it. Though practically speaking, IMO, it doesn't make sense to mod it. If I wanted more power I would just trade up to a 3.5.
I have a 3.5.
It's a powerful engine...
But, it is aluminum, with all the weaknesses that aluminum has for blocks.
The 2.7 with the VCF-Cast Iron block has all the good things about cast iron but weighs in the same as aluminum...
They really should do the Cyclone in VCF-CAST.
Hell, they should do the Coyote in it, FTM.
Spools almost instantly, good on gas and with a tune it pulls nice. It responds well to mods (tune, downpipe etc) with the only weakness being the factory pistons. About 550 WHEEL TQ is the most I'd push (some have pushed it further but many have blown around 550-600).
3.5s tuned are just crazy. I have to be FBO and e30 to keep up with a stock 3.5 on a 93 tunes
From a stopped 0-60 sure, after that it tapers off. If you’re doing a rolling race like these guys were doing vs 3.5 and 5.0, the 3.5 and 5.0 would pull away from the 2.7 easy. That’s more indicative of real world acceleration anyway, nobody is flooring it at every single red light that turns green.. but merging on the highway or passing people is what 99% of people do when they put the hammer down.
I just watched a video the other day about this. I think it was on Donut, how you can get the "work truck" single cab f150, get the coyote engine in it, get the supercharger, and you've basically got a 700hp drag truck for as cheap as possible. It was still around 70k, but I guess that's cheap compared to the other options.
Town and Country Ford in Bessemer, Alabama has T&C Customs. They sell these. They’re way cheaper than you’d expect. https://www.alabamaford.com/tccustoms/ I looked and it doesn’t seem to be in stock. They’ll do custom work for you apparently. Idk I haven’t looked I to it cause I’m broke. I just seen one on I20 in Birmingham and they had advertisements on the truck.
Yes, you need a 4x4. You would have to run huge rear slicks to get traction on a 2 wheel drive truck. Plenty of videos on 4x4's. Search ONDGAS or Hoonigan where they have been on This vs That back in the day.
Thanks. I know about slicks, grew up with a father who had muscle cars and was into stock drag racing but never really knew about people running 4x4. Any time I saw a truck it was tubbed and running slicks.
Here is the answer. Someone else mentioned Donut Media doing a piece of these things. You order a single cab with 4x4 and with 5.0 Coyote from the dealer. Take that bitch to a tuner for a turbo set up and then shake down super cars for their lunch money. Doing it for much less than a Lambo too.
Superchargers were the Meta for V8 forced induction for years. It avoided the dreaded turbo lag and was fine for GM small blocks with poor volumetric efficiency. The heads on these new Coyotes are hitting 100-110% volumetric efficiency and rev way higher than GM small blocks typically like too. This plus the advancements in engine management and twin scroll Turbos have mitigated turbo lag. The GM small block's days of rulling the streets may finally be over! Long live the Coyote!
It’s like a long whip antenna with a GoPro mount on it, it goes almost horizontal at speeds; I saw a guy in my area in a Hellcat Charger driving around (like a fuckface) with the camera set up like this (and saw his Insta on his car, so I checked out some of his video posts…probably the biggest dickhead driver in the dickhead state of FL).
Until seeing that guy out playing in traffic, I’d wondered how they filmed these shots as well. It looks pretty weird to see it IRL, but it films some cool footage without having to have a human hold and operate the camera.
I find it interesting supercharger is the common answer here. I immediately thought big single or twins setup. And was expecting to see much of the same lol.
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos and a motec system exhaust.
I've been seeing a lot of builds like this recently. That trucks most likely just a stock f150, lowered with wheels a turbo kit and a fuel system. Those coyotes love boost and paired with AWD, they're a force to be reckoned with
Cuz you can park a Lambo in the Mall parking lot, and the cops won't be able to find it amongst all the other Lambos?
It's not like we rolled a Stop Sign in a white Chevy Cruze and ran around the corner to hide amongst all the other 'Mom Cars'.
(I may have done that with my mom's Olds Cutlass Ciera as a kid.)

To get a good idea of what these F-150 street builds include, take a look at Cleet’s callout vid https://youtu.be/PstyfKNJ9rU?si=cBhp6ojw56fyLa-0
4WD, twin turbo, built internals, turbo 400. Id wager if you lifted the cover on that bed you’d see right through to the ground.
Coyote Lobos 4x4-f1shifty 10 speed biggest whipple & many supporting mods See Cleeter McSkeeters f150 journey. 5.0 crank snouts need reinforcing. Coyote Lobos the new SUPRA get used to them
In 80s we were on the main drag in town at a red light, this guy a few years older and his buddy pull beside us in the right lane, He was in a New Corvette 8 cyl red
We were in a Mazda glc 3 cyl red
He revs his motor,my friend revs a response as a joke
, Red Corvette now thinks a race is on, we have no clue, we are racing, we just waiting for the light, it goes green the Corvette ROARS SPINNING TIRES AND SMOKE, I look at my friend I YELL GO,! Mazda 3cyl doesn't move my friend is watching the Corvette as it leaps the curb into a tree, 30 yards from the red light,
My friend now slams the gas and now has the 3cyl Mazdas tires spinning as we pass, Red Corvette he yells "I Win" e/ loud laugh
The guy who once had a Red Corvette, we met his Passenger who said Red Corvette wasn't mad about Wrecking the Car, as he Was about the asshole in the Red Ferrari who yelled
"I Win"
He probably just turned off the A/C.
Ha. Just out of school I had geo prism, I referred to the A/C button as my turbo button.
I always say "diverting power from life support to main thrusters" lol
I have a 1981 240D Mercedes Benz. It came with 55hp from the factory. When I’m trying to merge on the highway I turn off the AC and that’s what I’m thinking when I do it 😆😆😆
97’ dodge ram, I can’t even make it up hill without turning my AC off lmao
I had a '77 240D. Merging into traffic on an exit ramp was almost impossible unless I had a 1/2 mile head start to build up some velocity
not sure if yours was automatic but mine has a 5 speed manual so that helps a bit 😄
manual. Didn't help at all haha
85 300sd, turbo’d so only need 1/3 mile head start, and I removed the ac system
My Mom had a 240 D.. That car was a classic.. That was in 73.Single Mom She was a Realtor in Dallas.
I learned to drive in my moms 83 240D….. always got scared turning into traffic…. Gotta drop that bad boy into 1st gear lolllll. But that thing was a tank….. I’m sure you remember hitting speed bumps at 50 and not feeling a thing
OMG. Good thing I wasn't sipping coffee when I read that.
Please read the reddit handbook, spitting your drink out is the obligatory response to humor on reddit.
Hahaha love it. In the XWing game from like 1992, you could change the distribution of power between thrust and shields and my friend's Geo Storm kinda felt the same way when you turned the A/C off and on.

Nice!! I always say “LUDICROUS SPEED, GO! And I drive a minivan with my kids….. 🤣😭😭
Brilliant
Lol I have a Honda Fit and I say "suspending life support" when I turn the AC off to merge on the interstate
I remember those. 3 cyl engine right?

I still have a prism with 115,000 miles on it
The Corolla's & Prizm's came from the same assembly plant. As for the Metro's, if you went to Canada you could buy Suzuki Swift 1.0L turbo model.
I feel like you need an award for riding in a geo metro for 538K.. thats like some version of ancient torture.
My buddy had a metro. When it would get stuck in the snow, you could just pick up the front end and slide it over for better traction.
It was the Toyota 4 cylinder. Reliable car.
Most reliable and I swear to God my gas tank used to go up instead of down
Jesus flashbacks of our geo metro and a full family barely making it up hills lol
Same but 1980s Tercel automatic. The only thing slower was my friend’s Isuzu pup pickup automatic with a long bed. Yes we raced and didn’t even break the speed limit.
First car was a 1981 VW rabbit 4 speed 4cylinder diesel. If I hit 55 it was downhill with the wind pushing the back hatch. I got that car in 2004.
And flipped the air breather.
I drive a jeep. What's ac?
It's not a jeep thing you wouldn't understand!
New cam phasers
If I could award you I would. And for those who don’t know what he means. If you own a f150 you don’t wanna find out.
I own a gen 1 3.5 and I like to party
If you own a F150, you likely already know.
140k miles, a month away from the end of the parts warranty on my 3rd set. Great fun
I found out last year. Both banks completely fucked. 2018 5.0 check engine light went off 3 days after I buy it, the dealer had it for 6 months and turned it back over to me. Ain’t no lemon law on a 5 year old car
Is it referring to the violent shaking the f150 does when driving in traffic at a snails pace?
Whipple supercharger Bout $10-12k in mods will get you doing this
Hwhipple. It's pronounced Hwhipple.
Stewie? Is that you?
Nope. Hwill Hwheaton
You're eating hair!
Hwhy are you saying it like that? Saying hwhat hwhat way? Everything all of it. Hwhere do you get off?
Cool Hwhipple
When you’re running late night with lambos (I’d bet that one is twin turbo) for a 10k bet, a 10-12k whipple setup doesn’t even get you in the door. I do think it’s a whipple too, just not a base kit lol
Probably making hella boost with that whipple.
You can make 1000whp on the Whipple and 850who would be enough to handle that Lamborghini.

It’s hilarious to me that it took a video of the truck beating a lambo for people to realize these trucks are fast and that they want one lmao
There is so much online of F150s running the streets lately it’s awesome. Boosted 5.0s and a ten speed with 4x4, you’re mint.
I had a 2018 5.0 with 10 speed that thing RIPPED. Now I have a new super duty diesel. Torque is an addiction
#FACTS!!! They don’t know !!
Wrecked a 04 Monte Carlo had to get a 97 f150 with the 4.6. This mfer just as fast and will drift it's ass off.
stock 2.7l ecoboost... or a wipple supercharger, hard to tell.
Some folks don’t know the prowess of the 2.7 and it shows. 💅
Facts
Is the 2.7 really that great? Does it respond well to mods compared to the 3.5?
People talk about the 2.7 being great because: 1. It's a popular, highly reliable, and relatively powerful choice, that covers everything that 90% of people are gonna do with an F150. 2. Historically the "I'll never buy anything with less than 8 cylinders" crowd has shit on the engine due to it being a forced induction V6. So people defend it. Lots of guys on youtube have strapped bigger turbos on it. Though practically speaking, IMO, it doesn't make sense to mod it. If I wanted more power I would just trade up to a 3.5.
Compacted graphite iron CGI block. That was the big news when it came out. Same material they make the current power stroke with
So I’m basically a power stroke? Got it
Basically a gasoline power stroke. You got all the other hallmarks of a diesel... CGI block, direct injection and turbocharging
I still am die hard 3.5 eco guy but I do think Ford should start building it out of CGI as well. And a louder factory exhaust lol
Coyote in VCF-cast 🤤 1.4k HP in-coming
Drive a triton my entire life before my current truck, hated the idea of the 2.7. Now I’ve had it for 3 years I’m completely happy with it.
I love when people think I have a 3.5 and I tell them I'm only a 2.7
From a stopped 0-60 sure, after that it tapers off.
Ur funny
That is not an ecoboost LOOL
Thanks for clearing that up man.
its just more boost, less eco. and its in sport mode!
5.0 with a supercharger or procharger would do it.
They sell one from the dealership with 702hp for under $48k
Town and Country Ford in Bessemer, Alabama has T&C Customs. They sell these. They’re way cheaper than you’d expect. https://www.alabamaford.com/tccustoms/ I looked and it doesn’t seem to be in stock. They’ll do custom work for you apparently. Idk I haven’t looked I to it cause I’m broke. I just seen one on I20 in Birmingham and they had advertisements on the truck.
Town and country is the shit.
OK, well I was wrong on the price then. Thanks.
Supercharged coyote 5.0.
Big single, or twin turbo, or supercharged will get you over 1000hp with 4x4 to keep the tires planted. It's the Houstin TX special single cab.
Weld Venturas are usually a dead giveaway that they’ll take you to Gapplebee’s.
H-Town baby. Single cab trucks and paper plated nissans is what we roll with.
Legit question, can you actually pull this off in 4x4?
Yes, you need a 4x4. You would have to run huge rear slicks to get traction on a 2 wheel drive truck. Plenty of videos on 4x4's. Search ONDGAS or Hoonigan where they have been on This vs That back in the day.
4L right? 😂
Thanks. I know about slicks, grew up with a father who had muscle cars and was into stock drag racing but never really knew about people running 4x4. Any time I saw a truck it was tubbed and running slicks.
Think of it as AWD
Here is the answer. Someone else mentioned Donut Media doing a piece of these things. You order a single cab with 4x4 and with 5.0 Coyote from the dealer. Take that bitch to a tuner for a turbo set up and then shake down super cars for their lunch money. Doing it for much less than a Lambo too. If it's the same one that's been being posted elsewhere lately it's TT and pretty built 1400hp range.
I think I’m more impressed by whatever is recording this video…
It’s like a long whip antenna with a GoPro mount on it, it goes almost horizontal at speeds; I saw a guy in my area in a Hellcat Charger driving around (like a fuckface) with the camera set up like this (and saw his Insta on his car, so I checked out some of his video posts…probably the biggest dickhead driver in the dickhead state of FL). 5L with a pair of spooly bois
Yea large spooly bois.
F150s are taking over the racing world. The 5.0 is a GTR engine with two extra cylinders.
Boosted 4wd 'Yote FTW.
More than likely the 5.0 coyote
Supercharged 5.0 probably
Never I repeat never race a regular cab F150.
He put it in 4 high
That is crazy. A testament to the prowess of the F150
F150 put it in 4H

F-150 Sleeper!!
Whatever it is ... it sure in the hell isn't stock!!🤣😂👍
Glass packs and a black ice tree air freshener
Gasoline and a whole bunch of mother fuckin bald eagles! 🦅 🇺🇸 my guess whipple coyote 5.0 👍
Answer: A driver that doesn’t give a fuck.
I understand the horsepower but how does a truck handle at that speed!? Sick!
How much is the truck after all the mods? And the lambo after mods?
Less than purchase price of the Lamborghini. And probably less than just the mods to the Lamborghini
Twin turbo setup
That’s the 5.0 coyote / 10 speed trans and a whipple twin screw supercharger. I hear you can have one built for right around $50-60k
Those new fords are not to be messed with!
Haha built not bought with the heater on full blast
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos and a motec system exhaust.
I've been seeing a lot of builds like this recently. That trucks most likely just a stock f150, lowered with wheels a turbo kit and a fuel system. Those coyotes love boost and paired with AWD, they're a force to be reckoned with
Coyote. Supercharged edition. Beat the brakes off these pissant ecoboosts.
Big balls
5.0 and 10spd and take you're ass to gapplebees
Max verstappen
Damn that lambo tried and another 10k just went into that truck via dudes pockets 🤣🤣
Booster 5.0’s w/ 10 speed ain’t no joke
Prolly just supercharged 5.0. Don’t take a ton
Most likely a whipple and a coyote. Those things LOVES boost
Coyote motor on that Whipple shit. Get you 1k at the rear wheel.
Probably a 5.0 coyote with a power adder like turbos.
Merican!
Probably a driver.
The craziest part is doing this with a personalized plate on the Lambo 🤣
Cuz you can park a Lambo in the Mall parking lot, and the cops won't be able to find it amongst all the other Lambos? It's not like we rolled a Stop Sign in a white Chevy Cruze and ran around the corner to hide amongst all the other 'Mom Cars'. (I may have done that with my mom's Olds Cutlass Ciera as a kid.)
In my day, I’d say nitrous

I'm going to guess its a twin turboed coyote with all Boltons.
Stage 1 whipple on a 5.0 f150 makes around 725hp at the crank.
I assumed it was a similar build to this: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7hsdvqy4ns](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7hsdvqy4ns)

An idiot.
How do people get videos like this?
