Honestly, I have no idea. The sales guy I've been dealing with doesn't know anything as well. I want an XLT myself, but im going for an STX since there's no real major difference between the 2 trims and I already have one set, atleast it's noted, for me in the dealership's group. It's in Transit or at plant being built.
I recently ran into my receipt for my 2018 standard cab XLT FX4. I paid $41k CDN for it ($30k USD) after all the rebates and discounts. For giggles I configured a new truck with features as close as I could and it was almost double the price! 100% inflation over 6 years.
Actual inflation over that period was 21%.
80k USD??? I got my 23 lariat 502A for 76kCAD after taxs and warranty... maybe ford does this because people in Canada would be paying over 100k for lariats if you do the dollar conversion.
My wife found out she was pregnant a month after I bought it. Wasn’t practical for a family car especially vacations. I also do more work around the house than I thought and needed a truck countless times.
After seeing how bad the value tanked, I didn’t want to get in another EV.
Have a Tesla Model Y. EVs are very fun to drive but I feel like I’m on leash when it comes to traveling.. yes you can do it but it’s a pain on vacations when I have to make a special 20-30 minute trip to charge up for the day. Looking into getting a powerboost.
That combined with a battery failure on a 6 hour drive to the Players Championship did me in. I travel a little for work and I lost all faith in the car for out of town trips when that happened. Especially because Ford’s step one is “erase the code and see how long it takes it to happen again”. Yeah no.
Nice.
Mine’s similar only black, PowerBoost, and 6-1/2 bed.
Wife talked me into NOT White by saying it will look like a fleet truck.
Love the truck, wish I would have stayed with my 1st plan of white.
That is a nice looking truck. I am quite pro-EV and drive an EV, but am rational and realize it’s simply too early for EVs to work for everyone.
The ability to completely refuel to a 100% full tank in under 5 minutes simply beats having to stop and wait for 20-40 minutes just to be able to charge from 10-80%, not even 100%. It’ll be years until battery tech can match refueling speed. Until then, a lot of us will be 1 EV 1 ICE households
Congrats on the truck!
That's the BEST way to look at it. I would rather have a massaged ass than reading the hate comments. I'm sure I'll get some when I have my BAP carbo Grey truck in a 2 wks. Some reason people like to hate BAP in reddit world.
As someone who just bought a new F150, it isn't. Prices on commodities are grossly overvalued right now and I don't tend to make fun of people who don't have as much money as me. Most of the time it isn't their fault
We all know they’re overpriced, doesn’t have to be reiterated with every F150 purchase post. I was making half of what I’m making 4 years ago, and trucks are only about 1/3 more expensive.
Congrats
Thank you!
Congrats, love the color with BAP. I'm working on getting my Carbo Grey next month after the 9th, new incentives start, and timing is right for me.
I ordered the truck without seeing it in person and they delivered to my work. That color POPS in person. I was very pleased.
Any thought on what the new incentives might be? I’ve been holding out myself until the 9th for the same…Carbo XLT BAP Edit: added BAP

oxford white or cocaine white?
Pure colombian cocaine
What did that run you? How are interest rates right now for new vehicles? Just curious
5.9% for 72. It was a little under 80 with X-plan and some extra.
Woof. I’ll stick to my 2018 lariat for now lol

Exactly why I’m holding on to my 2014 eco boost for as long as I can!
Sticker was 85,600.

Anyone feel like the new longer running boards are way slower than the old body style?
They are 100% louder than the older ones. Like and not by a small margin. For us, it was noticeably louder.
Talk about a massive upgrade
Good looking truck. Welcome back
White & black, Red & black, Silver & black are my top color combinations. This thing looks real good. Good choice buddy, I'm proud of you! Enjoy
very nice truck!
So why the change from the EV or not going with the Lightning?

Clean AF; congrats!
F150 gang 🤙🤙🤙
Huge upgrade

I actually work for a body manufacturer/upfitter. We have close to 1,000 white chassis on our lot waiting for builds. And I still love white. 😂
Engine?
3.5

Incoming comments saying it’s not worth the cost from the brokies or people who think they’re satisfied driving a 1995 Civic for eternity.
Hahaha that’s expected. Opinions are like assholes. And my ass is getting massaged in the front seat of my dream truck. 🤷♂️
Hell yeah

Also calling something or someone for who they are or what they have isn’t necessarily making fun. If you’re fat, you’re fat.
