What, you don't remember that time they shut down the entire northbound interstate in the city of Fhfjfjvldkpotioth so they could send a mile-long tractor trailer truck south containing hundreds of thousands of US flags mounted to it because reasons?
Not going to mention that the flags would be flying in the wind? The fact that the truck is going the wrong way? How many lanes are in one direction vs the other?
The ai also puts a black line in the middle of each lane rather than two black lines where all the tires run like we actually see on concrete roads. The longer you look the more you see.
That detail is correct. On concrete freeways, the center of the lane gets darkened by oil stains while the traveled part of the concrete is light and does *not* get darkened by tire wear.

I went to high school in Fhfjfjvldkpotioth. It’s a great place but the flag trucks really screwed with traffic. The pep rally cheers were also really difficult.
I grew up in Fhfjfjvldkpotioth and traffic used to be a lot worse until they expanded our highway to 6 lanes. Seemed unnecessary at the time for a town with a population of 650, but once these giant semis started transporting flags through, it all made sense.
For real. Like, I've gone on with people *at length* about the Nazis' flag obsession (seriously, go watch some actual footage of one of their parades sometime, especially a colorized version. Even ignoring what those flags represent, the sheer number and density is deranged, and I mean that literally; as in it brings to mind crazy cat ladies and hoarders and those dudes who have literally thousands of Jesus figurines covering every flat surface in their house. It's blatantly the product of an unwell mind, it's what happens when an entire society develops a collective mental illness), but this image comes pretty close.
I'm sure that's part of it, but I know for a fact that some of these AI art accounts are engagement farming so they can sell the pages once they reach a certain number of likes. You can get hundreds or thousands of dollars depending on the likes/engagement the page gets and it's an easy way for someone to start promoting their own product/scam in a way that makes them appear established and well known.
This reminds me of a twist on the dead internet theory that I heard recently on a podcast, the Punjabi Internet Theory.
Basically, social media isn't actually filled with bots, but Indian people that act like bots.
Oh come on, there has to be at least 5% recently divorced guys trying to get in touch with that girl he dated sophomore year of college, and hoping she is as single and desperate as he is.
I used to think this theory was just a joke or something, slowly starting to believe it as I realize not just Facebook but the amount of YouTube videos today that are either completely AI or video is made by AI and the voice over is just text to speech
I hate the Internet now and I hate AI
People who say this don’t have boomers in their lives or something. Anyone who thinks it’s just bots all the way down has never been to a boomer’s house and watched them use Facebook. They’ll see this in their feed and turn to you all happy like “wow look at this picture! how patriotic!” and then type “amen” in the comments or “god bless America” and look all happy with themselves. then god forbid you say it’s not a real photo, they’re like “why are you always trying to tear things down and prove them wrong? do you just hate patriotism? you’re always so negative!”
There’s something strangely creepy about a corner of the internet being inhabited completely by robots liking and posting to each other and thinking that the other is a person.
This was genuinely on my FB homepage this week and I give the algorithm NOTHING. I'm here for marketplace and that's it. The comments by people who didn't understand that it wasn't real flabbergasted me. We are in desperate need of some serious common-sense intervention.

The small amount of time I do go on there I see at least 1 AI stereotypical white Jesus, 1 impossible home "remodel" and some other garbage AI post, enough for me to quickly log off and go back to Reddit...

My dad posted it recently. I told him no matter what he posts if it’s in the terms of service he agreed to by signing up they can do whatever they want with his profile.
He’s a lawyer by the way.
I remember posts like that way back in the Myspace days, except those messages were more like "if you don't share this post within the next 24 hours you'll have bad luck for 2 weeks, or some shit like that lmao.
I DO NOT AUTHORIZE FACEBOOK TO USE MY DATA. THIS POST IS A DECLARATION OF MY REJECTION OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE. FACEBOOK AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES MUST TAKE THIS AS A LEGAL NOTICE.
I had to ask my mom if she was stupid or something. I’m like you worked with legal contracts your whole life and you think this would be how you circumvent the TOS?
Her response was “it’s just in case”. Just in case what? Just in case we had doubts of putting you in a home?
Some of our parents are fucking stupid man. My mother thinks black people are stealing all of the welfare. And my girlfriends mom always brings up black people as the cause of certain issues, like when we rolled through Memphis a few days ago and saw how disgusting it was.
Don't forget that tomorrow starts the new Facebook rule where Mark Zuckerberg can sneak into your kitchen at night and eat whatever is in your refrigerator. To stop him from doing that, copy and paste this message on your Facebook feed:
"I do not authorize Mark Zuckerberg or any entity associated with Facebook to sneak into my house and eat anything in my refrigerator. With this statement, I notify Facebook to leave my milk, eggs, butter, cheese, veggies, sandwich meats, pickles, and leftover pizza alone."
After you copy and paste this message, the light in your refrigerator will turn blue 🔵 and you’re good to go.

They're the generation who dismissively said not to believe anything on the Internet, and then they joined the Internet and believed literally anything they saw on the Internet.
Yeah, a lot of people are so fast to call the older folks stupid for stuff like this, but the reality is that our parents/grandparents mental faculties are starting to go and we’re witnessing it in real time. Something to take into consideration is that 20-30 years ago, the internet and especially social media wasn’t what it is today. We’re seeing age-related mental decline in a way that we couldn’t back then.
Well a conversation about the dangers of lead paint with my mother yesterday revealed that she thinks the danger is “liberal propaganda” so my standards are low
They used to pretend to be Bill Gates and offer you cash for reposting to everyone. Now they pretend that Bill Gates is an evil mastermind secretly tracking you.
This is more likely a bot than a boomer. Babies adorable? Does this sound like an American to you?
It’s intended to incite political arguments. Brought to you by foreign bots. Intended to expose as many idiots as possible and keep us arguing,
It works like a charm.
They for sure are bot accounts, I have seen dozens of theses. The concern is more the people engaging with it below don't seem to hold the ability to discern it as being AI mass produced garbage. Propaganda bots
Critical thinking seems to be a rare skill for many nowadays, that was the first thing I noticed after the picture. And its easy to spot the inconsistencies and off-the-wall combinations of these unrelated things, but that also requires people to pay attention to these things.
Yeah it's hilarious these people on Reddit yapping about boomers and Facebook only to realize there the dumb ones not able to realize it’s all bots and not even boomers.
Honestly its a perfect depiction of the modern GOP/fascist movement. A bunch of morons waving the flag and going the wrong direction, led by someone who shouldn't even be qualified to drive a truck.
Don't forget that it is a Freightliner semi truck, freightliner is owned by Daimler Trucks North America, who's parent Corporation, Daimler AG is based in Germany. A large portion of Freigtliner trucks are made in Mexico. So a German owned, Mexican produced truck is what they use to carry 8 miles of American flags
Some libertarians wet dream to drive the wrong way down the interstate with unsecured cargo exceeding the maximum trailer chain because... They Government Can't Tell Them NO!!!
This isn't boomers, it is AI farming. That's why they always have 'Why don't posts like these ever get likes' or 'Its my birthday I hope I get some love' followed by a generated prompt for 'sick child or pet with birthday cake'.
What’s with them and virtue/signaling? Fuck. Just go out and do something that Jesus actually said would get you into heaven, like feed the hungry, clothe and house the poor, welcome the stranger, …
It’s not American Boomers running these accounts. These are Indian/Indonesian/Malaysian run engagement accounts, with names like “Love Army of U.S. Americaa” or “Nancy Recipies.” The point is hoping even 1% of the real, human American right-wingers that engage in the comments will respond to PMs.
That's too much work for them. Following Christ's teachings would take time away from more enjoyable pastimes like going online to complain about immigrants and pretending to be victims.
“I don't get all choked up about yellow ribbons and American flags. I consider them to be symbols and I leave symbols to the symbol minded.”

Absurdly long truck, going the wrong way, full of flags that aren't even all facing the right way, driving under gibberish signs. The highway is 5 lanes on one side and 10 on the other. Some of the cars on the other side of the highway are halfway on the shoulder, the wheels under the truck bed are laid out in what is certainly a configuration.
AI "art" is so hilariously bad.

This is like one of those "Find all the things wrong" photo games.
There's no truck bed under those flags. They are held together by the power of 'Merica!
And the truck runs on Dunkin!
It’s an eighteen hundred wheeler.

12 yards long, 2 lanes wide, 65 tons of American Pride!
SMELLS LIKE A STEAK AND SEATS 35!
0 city 1 highway
The federal highway commission has ruled the Canyonairo unsafe for highway or city driving.
Squirrel squashing, deer smacking piece of American pride
That truck for sure has a lipstick holder
Kentucky fried truck endorsed by a clown
Unexplained fires are a matter for the courts!
God I loved the canyonero
Just circle the whole photo.
I like the double ended one not far behind the cab.
I like the 5 gazillion road signs way at the back.
I’m partial to the square tires on the left side near where the trailer bends.
There’s no truck driver.
And the flag where the stripes are easiest to count clearly has fifteen stripes.
Given that it comes from the universe where the United States has something near a hundred states...
All the cars look like they have been through a demolition derby. They are all bent and wrong looking.
Well, a few caved-in roofs won't stop these patriots!!
It’s the apocalyptic hellscape in the background for me.
That are all written in klingon
The one flapping against the wind seems like a bit too liberal.
I saw a double-ended one in one of THOSE catalogs.
I like the one where the stripes are going the wrong direction.
The longer and harder you look, the more fun the game becomes.
“Wacky Wednesday” keeps getting wackier
This dummy believes in wind lol. Open your eyes, wind doesn't exist and it's a hoax perpetuated by NASA and George Soros
Wind never exists. Your city just sucks hard.
(((George $oro$))) buys all the wind for liberal wind farms, and won't share any with "real" Americans. /s

Mango Messiah killed me - haven't heard that one before.
Tangerine Tyrant
Freedom doesn’t live by your rules
I like how the left side goes from 3 lanes in the back to like 12 in the foreground.
I didn't notice the truck was going in the wrong direction. That's hilarious!
Freedom never goes the wrong way, commie
The ai also puts a black line in the middle of each lane rather than two black lines where all the tires run like we actually see on concrete roads. The longer you look the more you see.

Oh, a deep-state elitist is now gonna go all logical on us.
I went to high school in Fhfjfjvldkpotioth. It’s a great place but the flag trucks really screwed with traffic. The pep rally cheers were also really difficult.
Is that near Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch?
Next station stop. And I can pronounce that one.
Throw them all in Eyjafjallajokull.
The glacier or the volcano?
Gesundheit
While driving into opposing traffic
Yeah I too noticed that all vehicles, no matter lane are traveling the same direction. Alot of similar looking cars as well.
The debris and carnage left behind where the truck plowed through the oncoming traffic is fun.
Look, freedom of this magnitude comes at a cost
Well, the traffic in Fhfjfjvldkpotioth is notoriously slow.
I grew up in Fhfjfjvldkpotioth and traffic used to be a lot worse until they expanded our highway to 6 lanes. Seemed unnecessary at the time for a town with a population of 650, but once these giant semis started transporting flags through, it all made sense.
If only there was an easier way to transport flags!
If only flags were made of some kind of pliant material that could be rolled up and layed on its side. Alas!
It’s also so cool how the bed of the truck is capable of bending to match the shape of the road
That is the power of 10 Thousand American flags standing together!
Hi PartisanAI, generate me an image that is patriotic with light hints of fanaticism.
Light hints? Would hate to see what you consider heavy hints of fanaticism lol.

pie mysterious fine vase growth sloppy pocket innocent impolite hat
I heard many good things about Fhfjfjvldkpotioth
I want /r/theydidthemath to figure out how long a string of trailers could be and this truck still be able to pull it reliably.
Not very long at all if you want to go in anything other than a perfectly straight line. Trains run on tracks for a reason
Imagine the length of time it would have taken to put each flag nicely on that Guinness Book of World Records length truck bed.
Lmao I hadn’t looked at the road sign
Credit where it's due: AI did a pretty decent job of creating the unholy mix of Thai and Arabic that no one asked for.

They vote.
Reasons. What do you mean reasons? FREEDOM, LIBERTY, GUNS, and THE AMERICAN F#CKING DREAM. /s
It doesn’t even look like there’s anyone driving that truck either.
God is behind the wheel & the truck runs on faith.
Dead Internet theory. Bots posting AI images shared, commented, and liked by bots.

I mean sure, but it's more likely human labor in Bangladesh is cheaper than using AI.

You glorious bastard!
Rack of 50 cheap smartphones all lined up so they can maximize view count and manage 50-200 “bot” accounts

bots pretending to be indian people pretending to be americans

This reminds me of a twist on the dead internet theory that I heard recently on a podcast, the Punjabi Internet Theory. Basically, social media isn't actually filled with bots, but Indian people that act like bots.
And this very comment will eventually get scooped up by a bot and barfed out on a different post. Assuming you’re even real… sus hmm 🤔
All your base are belong to us.
First time I heard of today I thought, nah no way. Now I'm reasonable sure 60 to 70 percent off the Internet bots talking to bots
🧐 That sounds like something a bot would say...
That sounds like something a bot would say too
I love thinking about this
Facebook is easily 50% of that now, with the other 49% boomers occasionally liking the post.
1% people trying to stay in contact with their great aunt Ethel who moved to Phoenix.
Oh come on, there has to be at least 5% recently divorced guys trying to get in touch with that girl he dated sophomore year of college, and hoping she is as single and desperate as he is.
Amen 🙏
I used to think this theory was just a joke or something, slowly starting to believe it as I realize not just Facebook but the amount of YouTube videos today that are either completely AI or video is made by AI and the voice over is just text to speech I hate the Internet now and I hate AI
I am sorry you feel that way. Unfortunately as a language model I cannot help you.

There’s something strangely creepy about a corner of the internet being inhabited completely by robots liking and posting to each other and thinking that the other is a person.
I'm getting sick of all the AI Garbage on Facebook
This was genuinely on my FB homepage this week and I give the algorithm NOTHING. I'm here for marketplace and that's it. The comments by people who didn't understand that it wasn't real flabbergasted me. We are in desperate need of some serious common-sense intervention.
If the comments on FB are any indication of how intelligent the typical American is, then we are *fucked*. I hope this is just the tail end of mass lead poisoning.
They arent. Normal people and people with eyes that work don’t comment on those posts. Only idiots or people that *need* to argue with idiots
Don't forget all the bots making comments!
I checked the accounts of the "people" leaving comments on the AI pics. All accounts I checked (*around 100 total*) were made in the last year, no info for the "person", no friends, none of them were private, just a profile pic and a name. Facebook is absolutely The Dead Internet Theory in practice.
It’s not. We’re fucked. The small amount of time I do go on there I see at least 1 AI stereotypical white Jesus, 1 impossible home "remodel" and some other garbage AI post, enough for me to quickly log off and go back to Reddit...
White Jesus? All I ever see is prawn Jesus.
I love prawn Jesus. Just the absolute pinnacle of AI absurdity
Dude, just stop. Delete FB from your life. Did so myself 8 years ago, never looked back.
Bro, fix that comma, the fuck 😂. Not a big deal, I know, I’m not shaming you i just got a kick out of it lol.
Hahaha I never actually noticed I did, that
I'm not on Facebook, and here we are.

That shit is STILL circulating there! And folks STILL fall for it.

I've made myself perfectly redundant.
My mom has done this 'just in case' shit. Goddamnit, it's obviously not how this works.
I remember posts like that way back in the Myspace days, except those messages were more like "if you don't share this post within the next 24 hours you'll have bad luck for 2 weeks, or some shit like that lmao.
My favorite was the spin off of "I do NOT give mark zuckerberg permission to eat food out of my fridge" lmao
Sharing this is legally binding. A lawyer said so.
I DO NOT AUTHORIZE FACEBOOK TO USE MY DATA. THIS POST IS A DECLARATION OF MY REJECTION OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE. FACEBOOK AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES MUST TAKE THIS AS A LEGAL NOTICE.
I lost so much respect for some of my family members when that stuff started circling around.

Some of our parents are fucking stupid man. My mother thinks black people are stealing all of the welfare. And my girlfriends mom always brings up black people as the cause of certain issues, like when we rolled through Memphis a few days ago and saw how disgusting it was.
Only one group is holding back the metaphorical water tap of welfare to poor people and it’s definitely not the black people
That last sentence has me dying
I literally saw this one a couple of weeks ago. Figured that would have stopped happening at least 4-5 years ago lol
My aunt and uncle recently both made Facebook accounts for the first time, it was like a Facebook time capsule watching their posts and shares.
Facebook hates when users do this one easy trick..

Ya gotta drive real careful to keep a mile long flexible trailer in the correct lane!
Or even the correct direction.
Honestly its a perfect depiction of the modern GOP/fascist movement. A bunch of morons waving the flag and going the wrong direction, led by someone who shouldn't even be qualified to drive a truck.
