His election by default was one of those moments you’ll always remember where you were. We were on a road trip to see our son, seated at a Dureys table having a drink in their dinner area. I simply could not believe it was called for the most despicable candidate ever appearing on the ballot, and we didn’t know the half of it then.
I was sitting on a crappy bed in my spare room because my bedroom was full of bedbugs, pounding vodka directly from the bottle and staring at my computer screen until 3:30am when I passed out. It honestly was like a nightmare, such a sinking feeling that things were going to get bad.
I didn't even think "if there's a pandemic, he's going to get people killed" because I didn't know how bad he would be, just knew those was going to be rough.

1) They're involved and working to do good. However, they're way too focused on their corner of the struggle, and haven't noticed that a lot of the problems that Democrats have neglected were put in place by the GOP. I can sympathize, but can't condone.
2) They're young, and involved. They haven't noticed that the Dems are - in many ways - the furthest left they've ever been. At least, in *my* lifetime. They also haven't yet lived through enough elections to know that refusing to choose the "lesser evil" is supporting the greater one. They're in the right place, but propaganda is hard to get past, whether it's produced by authoritarians in "capitalist" countries, or authoritatians from "communist" countries.
3) They're fucking foolish. Maybe that's because they're some kind of accelerationist, and think that a revolution will solve everything (and good luck with that when nazis control the US military). Maybe that's because they're an Marxist-Leninist/Maoist who hasn't realized that those are just *state* capitalist systems with even *less* democracy than the US (which, considering how low *that* bar is, is saying a lot). Even the image is misleading without any caption. If you do an eyedropper the colors in the circles don’t even match the colors they’re supposedly picking from. That, and they increased the brightness on Obama’s photo while decreasing brightness on the other.

Tell that to everyone who gets offended and calls out "blackface" for any and all instances of artists wearing some kind of dark face paint. I swear, I have seen too many instances where artists use dark face paint for a particular vibe, meaning, whatever, without the red lips, without other stereotypes and still have to apologise or censor the material because it's considered blackface.

The D&D community episode; considered one of their best with a solid massage about mental health and bullying, is banned because one character has black makeup on their face to portray their drow character. For those that don't know, drow live in the underdark and have adapted by having deep black skin.
Like, that person is right, but they're also minimizing blackface into a single 100 year old version of blackface. There have been actual malicious uses of blackface that haven't involved all the classic... uh... bells and whistles before. The part they're right about though is that the premise of opposition to blackface historically was never so much about the racist caricature as it was the fact that it was being done to deny jobs to black actors of the time. A lot of the opposition to the examples of blackface you see today fall more into the camp of objecting to the caricature, since most of the times it's used today, it's on an established character who absolutely couldn't be replaced by a different actor (and frankly, is usually done more as a comment about the practice of using blackface itself). Edit: oh and as for the examples youre asking for, I have two off the top of my head. There's a few cancelled Always Sunny episodes and one episode of W/ Bob and David. I have another example on the tip of my tongue too...
