Thank you! And yes, initially Doc Mitchell tried to salvage it, but a combination of poor hygiene and general mojave filth resulted in it getting badly infected and had to be removed. My courier later on gets reconstructive surgery and a glass-eye fitted by the OWB autodoc
I have done exactly that on my first run-through Courier's Mile. Sniped one. then missed three consecutive shots of the ones that ran at me for the noise. the Riot saved me
This is perfect. It’s eerie and exciting and I love the design of your courier. I’ve daydreamed comics like this before and your rendition knocked it outta the park!
oh man, thank you so much! This also was the product of a fair bit of daydreaming, in sync lmao - and i have more on my courier [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/falloutnewvegas/comments/108sgam/got_around_to_drawing_my_courier_6/), if you're interested :)
Very good looking guy to base him off of!! Always love to see more courier havers out there. Do you have a Twitter account? I’d love to follow you if you do!!
Hell yeah, courier havers stay thriving. Unfortunately i don't have a twitter, never managed to get the hang of it and whatever is going on on that app further threw me off - i have an instagram and tumblr if that counts?
The Independence ending is so in line with the themes and messages of New Vegas that it always feels wrong to play anything else. It rejects the repitition of failed Old World systems, it's a *massive* gamble, and is just fucking cool to beat 3 other superpowers.
yes! Absolutely! i agree - there's something about someone dying and being buried in the mojave, only for the desert to spit them back out and for them to go on to be the fulcrum that ends a civil war and usurps the grasp of three much older, powerful, and much more organised factions with very little except the scattered factions across the desert itself. That first playthrough where the Boomer carrier flies overhead will always remain in my head as a damn cool scene, everything coming together for an independent ending, and for those efforts of the PC to Feel weighty
Thank you! It's a royal flush (king, queen, ace, jack, ten), and the best hand to have in a poker game - I wanted to signify that this was the Winning Hand and points to the courier's impending victory :)
That's really cool! I learned to pay attention to whenever cards are present in media since they always mean so much, glad to see it's not any different here
hell yeah! I'm also not very well versed in poker in general, but wanted to make sure the symbolism involved with poker and gambling etc was at least accurate
Just a little bit of interesting trivia; the place the courier was whot is actually specifically mentioned, the first is to the forehead and the second is to the side of the head
Thank you! His dialogue is so well written it really stuck with me, ever since my first playthrough. Just a very fun instance of foreshadowing and bringing a feeling of importance to the Courier's actions in the game
He's a child NPC who is found in the underpass at the 188 Trading Post, and he's a psyker (fallout universe psychic) who wears a special helmet he calls his 'medicine', which dampens his abilities.
Without his medicine, he becomes something of an oracle, and for some caps the Courier can get three 'prophecies' or thoughts of different things from him - them being You, Here, and Everywhere. They all end with him giving a 'forecast', a piece of dialogue foreshadowing events in the game relating it to weather
You can read more on him here - https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/The_Forecaster
Wahey, now you do!
Technically, and this is mostly lore fumbling between games, Mama Murphy is considered a 'psychic seer', and perhaps to others that distinction is important, but I consider her a psyker
Cool af man
Thank you :)
What in the goddamn?! This was sick as fuck.
thanks! Happy to finally finish it, been working on it on and off for around a week in my free time
Right, time for the extermination run. It's a fire sale in New Vegas sugar, everyone must go.
That slaps so hard. Your Courier has lost an eye?
Thank you! And yes, initially Doc Mitchell tried to salvage it, but a combination of poor hygiene and general mojave filth resulted in it getting badly infected and had to be removed. My courier later on gets reconstructive surgery and a glass-eye fitted by the OWB autodoc
a red snake eye? Damn imagine you're trying to rob some poor fool and that's the last thing you see. Bandits get nae nae'd on
Last thing a Fiend sees before their upper body becomes a fine red mist
Rocket launcher or point blank Hecate II to the chest with .50 BMG incendiary?
shotgun surgeon and dinner bell w/12 gauge magnum (he's just a little guy... anti material rifle is too heavy despite how much i love it😔)
ah a fellow shotgun user, based
Giving you the strongest predator handshake possible
my Courier is a bit of a gunslinger, and the Riot Shotgun may be one of my favourite weapons in the game. simple, but very effective
imagine bump firing a riot shotgun into a pack of deathclaws awesome
I have done exactly that on my first run-through Courier's Mile. Sniped one. then missed three consecutive shots of the ones that ran at me for the noise. the Riot saved me
Shotguns are truly the most fun weapons, broomstick clears everyone
Holy crap that's so poggers 🥺
Thanks!
I really like it!
Excellent, hell yeah
I like how you gave them the Bandage too, it's more telling than a basic player model.
Thank you! Wanted to show a least Some signs of damage from the little lovetap at the start of the game
Damn if that’s Benny’s lovetap I’d hate to see his hatetap
Its a rocket launcher with the text on the rocket reading "no"
*gets shot in the head* Tis but a scratch!
walk it off, mailman
*proceeds to kill Ceasar with a hunting rifle*
This is perfect. It’s eerie and exciting and I love the design of your courier. I’ve daydreamed comics like this before and your rendition knocked it outta the park!

Yes, I definitely am! Your Courier is a very handsome guy and I love the progression you add to his design. Man cleans up well 🫣
jsdghsgd excellent! Gotta look good while establishing the Mojave as its own nation. I modelled his face after Andy Lau's!
Very good looking guy to base him off of!! Always love to see more courier havers out there. Do you have a Twitter account? I’d love to follow you if you do!!

Tumblr is great!! I’d love to follow you there if you don’t mind sharing!
Hell yeah, you can find me [here](https://at.tumblr.com/iravaid/q8g5eu3l4479)
🤝 let’s goooo
With that red ominous sky on the forecast panel feels like someone went Father Elijah Mode: Forecast: Clean Slate.
It's more for the pathetic fallacy of it all, but that'd be an interesting route
That's a good metaphor didn't think of it like that. Now with Father Elijah that would be an interesting route indeed.

so sick lol
Amazing!
Yeah so this is awesome
! Thank you :)
This is incredibly cool. Like the color use. Also smart visual design. It fucking slaps!
Thank you so much! I'd spent a good bit of time trying to make sure this flowed, and that the red was used Well
One of the hardest pieces of media I've seen, absolutely fantastic! Imma go play nv now lmao
Hell yeah! Say hi to the Forecaster for me
Anyone poker literate here can tell what that hand means? Or if it even means something lol, really good comic man that was great
Thank you! It's a royal flush (king, queen, ace, jack, ten), and the best hand to have in a poker game - I wanted to signify that this was the Winning Hand and points to the courier's impending victory :)

Dammit, the comic is ruined 😔🙏 burning it all to the ground (But good to know for later)
Damn this is good
Thanks!
Literally perfect. Great job, Wastelander
Hell yeah, thank you!
Favorite part was Yesman's face on the back of the deck.
Lil symbolic Yes Man cameo for the Independent girlies, as a treat
This is awesome man.
Thank you! Had a lot of fun making it
Just a little bit of interesting trivia; the place the courier was whot is actually specifically mentioned, the first is to the forehead and the second is to the side of the head
Huh, it is interesting - do you know where this info can be found? (Either ingame or in interview etc)
Upon further review ; it appears to be conjucture based on the fact that the first tho knocks you unconscious
Ecellent work~ Lovely art to go with the cryptic words of the Forecaster.
Thank you! His dialogue is so well written it really stuck with me, ever since my first playthrough. Just a very fun instance of foreshadowing and bringing a feeling of importance to the Courier's actions in the game
Love it.
Awesome!!! Related question: Who’s the Forecaster?
He's a child NPC who is found in the underpass at the 188 Trading Post, and he's a psyker (fallout universe psychic) who wears a special helmet he calls his 'medicine', which dampens his abilities. That’s so cool!!! I never knew!!! Question: Is Mama Murphy (from #4) also considered a psyker?
Wahey, now you do! Technically, and this is mostly lore fumbling between games, Mama Murphy is considered a 'psychic seer', and perhaps to others that distinction is important, but I consider her a psyker
I do! Oh, I see. Lore arguments and discrepancies are always fun, aren’t they? Edit: Also, I suppose I’ll call her a psycker too…
Dude this slaps so fucking hard, goddamn.
Hell yeah, thank you!
This is so dope man. Hope you do more!
I visited forecaster once, it gave me creeps. Now i remember why. Great comic.
I got goosebumps, this merits the Joshua Graham Seal of Badassery.
Amazing to hear, thank you!
absolutely badass
Ngl, your Courier does nothing but remind me of The Man With No Name. Love your style and the comic! Hope to see more from you bruv!
Yeah that tracks, wanted to give my courier that kind of vibe - and thank you!
