Demon Days and Plastic Beach are their best as albums. Humanz has some of their best songs, but is too long, and some songs are definitely inconsistent.
DoYaThing is their best song, despite not being on an album.
I love song machine because it feels like an excellently compiled mixtape or soundtrack (similar to Mark Ronson's late night feelings). It doesn't feel like a normal album so feels weird to compare it to the others but it is the best thing they've done in over a decade and is probably the thing i would listen to the most regularly.
My best Gorillaz album? Sadly, I never got a chance to make any. Albarn beat me to it. But my favorite has to be Demon Days. 8th grade in my feelings listening to El Mañana is one of my favorite memories
Plastic Beach for me too. Demon Days is great but the vibe/atmosphere of Plastic Beach pushes it over the top for me. Also Some Kind of Nature and Melancholy Hill are probably my two favourite songs by them so that helps
Plastic Beach
Demon Days
Cracker island
Self titled
Song Machine
Humanz
The Now Now
I’ve never listened to The Fall but I guess I should
Edit: I’m dumb
Self titled is probably in my top 10 albums ever as it is one I grew up on as a kid and holds a very personal place for me. I really like Demon Days as well, nothing else after that is really my thing
Plastic Beach has some of my fav Gorillaz songs, but as an album Song Machine probably is my favorite. Even though there is no central concept, I love every song

The Fall
I know I probably put Song Machine far higher than most. Because of the nature of what it is it certainly isn’t as “cohesive” musically as some of their other records, and I get why that might make people drop it further down. Hell, that strong conceptual identity was exactly WHY Plastic beach landed at my personal #1. But god damn I think Song Machine has more individual tracks I consider absolute bangers than any other Gorillaz record. It really is hit single after hit single front to back.
Demon Days and self-titled are pretty close at the top, Plastic Beach is clear third and The Fall comes next. I actually don’t like any of the post Plastic Beach albums at all

DoYaThang is fucking incredible and needs to be on streaming The fact that it’s basically just a converse ad is hilarious
IM THE SHIT
I know all the lyrics from heart, all 12 minutes (though 8 of that is variations of IM THE SHIT)
Self titled is my favourite
Dayyy doo de bop dayyy doo de bop
Song machine. It’s so varied and fun. Even the bonus tracks feel essential to me.

Demon days
Song Machine since the singles came out when I just started getting into Gorillaz. The album legit got me through quarantine

Song Machine my beloved (All albums are peak tho)
i have a nostalgia based soft spot for the now now

Plastic Beach and self-titled with Demon Days in a distant fourth.

Empire Ants is one of my favorite songs of all time, therefore PB.
Plastic Beach and it's not close. Demon Days and Song Machine are really good, but Plastic Beach is one of my 10/10s
D sides
The debut was a game-changer, but I LOVE Laika Come Home.
Plastic Beach.
The Now Now is super underrated.
