Apparently they spent all offseason developing Ridder into a worse QB than Mariota was last year. *And they still are going to win games dunking on teams that can’t handle the predictable run.* I’ve never seen anything like it lol. The Panthers are horrible though all the way through too on defense, so Falcons are probably on their way to another middling year of just barely hanging on to stay competitive, but then absolutely falling apart against the best teams like last year. Really disappointed in the Falcons coaching staff here. How they actually came into the year with Ridder so unprepared when he actually looked serviceable end of last year, is just disappointing. Very very disappointing. Arthur Smith gets credit for turning a dumpster fire of a team competitive… but nobody wants to watch the Falcons be another lukewarm team that’ll never hack it come playoff time. Here’s hoping they do something fast and it’s not just Bijan and Tyler working 70%+ of their offense.

I’d say that’s a very accurate analysis. And it’s why I’m not really satisfied as a Falcons fan. Like we’ll beat the bad teams, and we have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL. So even if they win the division, they’ll get annihilated by any playoff team. Their offense is good when you have the lead, but is just plan incapable of scoring through the air.
