Their burgers are tasty tho, the chicken sandwich is the worst value of almost any fastfood place. Have gotten it at 5+ times and multiple locations and it's undersized and mediocre every time despite being almost $10. Kept giving it tries cause of promos and people swear by it. The burger is also undersized and overpriced, but at least it's genuinely good.
What are you talking about? Its the same martin roll and the same 4oz pre cooked patty.
You can weight your burger, it never changed, but we are in reddit, so everything is worse
Lol I always say this. Reddit thinks that every single fast food item is shrinking. Some of them have, but the restaurants acknowledge it in one way or another.
Most of them are listed at the exact same weight that they have always been, and misrepresenting that that is actually a form of fraud.
Going to tell you right now as someone who lives in a state saturated with Culver’s, it is not cheap, in fact entirely over priced for the small amount of food you get. Also any Culver’s I go it does not matter the location I am waiting at least 15 minutes in the drive for my food
Shake Shack was charging 2024 prices a decade before everyone else.
First time I went a burger, small paper basket of fries, and a soda (no refills) came out to $15.
within 5 mins of my house we have In-n-out, habit, whataburger, Culver’s, smashburger, shake shack, Freddy’s, five guys and they all co exist together and all of them are busy, although in n out is the busiest.
I don't like Culver's much, but I also don't really care for those other options you listed either. They all feel like they're charging sit-down prices for worse food.
I thoroughly enjoy comments such as this that begin with 'I will never understand' and then proceed to explain why they don't understand what they don't understand.
You're saving everybody a few seconds. Not me though.

I like when people have to constantly remind everyone how honest they're being with whatever they're saying. Honestly this, honestly that, honestly ugatz.
No way is Culver’s better than any of those or even In-N-Out.
Nor do their burgers remotely resemble higher end fast casual. Cheap price and thinner patties.
Culvers is a pretty good value for its price but it’s not category defining good.
My experiences with Shake Shack have been through DoorDash until recently.
Previously, I didn't work in a building that had a Shake Shack directly across the intersection. I do now. This Shake Shack has a drive-thru. I didn't know they weren't supposed to. Also, I'm never sure if they're open because they don't ever seem to have customers.
Shake Shack's great. Can be pricey, but they often have promo codes to lessen the pain. You can buy one shake and get one free in the afternoons if you order online.
I like Shake Shack but I swear their burgers keep getting smaller.

The best burger of any to me
No you are just getting bigger!

big n greedy
Lollll
I will never understand how Five Guys, Shake Shack, Smashburger..etc all survive when Culvers is almost right there in quality and 60% of the price.
Culver’s is only in 26 states
That’s why it’s cheap

The closest Shake Shack to me is 8 min away. The closest Culver’s is 6.5 hours. I’d like to try it some day but I’d have to go to Ohio!
The last time I went to Shake Shack I spent $18 on a sandwich, a side, and a drink. It’s more expensive than local bar and grills.

City?
Not op but it's probably Phoenix
Chandler, AZ a suburb of phoenix
Culver’s around me has raised their prices a lot, but so has Five Guys… so I guess it’s a wash in that aspect. Still frustrating.
Culvers burgers are nowhere near as good as Five Guys
Yea lmao Culver is mid where I’m at. Like not even close
Bummer. Culver's here rocks.

When they expand I'll give them a try
I like Culver's, but it isn't as good as 5 Guys or Shake Shack. Culver's burgers are super messy with the butter.
They are also laughably small
Culver’s is just as expensive as all the others where I’m at
Because Culver’s is the most mid burgers that exist
Completely agree
Several fast-casual chains are adding drive-thrus.

I’ll never understand the hype. It’s a mediocre burger for twice the price of In N Out. It’s barely a smash burger.
Shake Shack is in states/regions where there’s never been an In N Out

Massively disappointing when they came to my Central Texas town. Mediocre burger, premium prices equals won't be back again.
Is this the place that serves the little crock of baked beans? Or used to? I haven’t been to a shake shack in many years.
