That’s honestly what I was thinking about when I saw his other post. I guess I just have castles on the mind, not that they serve any purpose in MC other than to look cool.
Sure, I might fall into it, but this is in Stoneblock 2 and I have Avaritia's infinity armor. I'm pretty sure the only thing that could actually hurt me would be other players with infinity tools, but this is a singleplayer world.
Really? Damn, that's pretty funny. Combine that with the Extra Utilities sword that does damage even to players in creative and you'll have a character even the admins fear 😈
~~If I remember right, I believe it protects from up to three different simultaneous causes of death. You’d have to die at least four times, at once, to actually die.~~
Nevermind it’s that the sword tries to kill you in three different ways.
Not only that, I had a friend test it with something from witchery in 1.7, it took a bit, but, when they did kill him, it corrupted his player data, because the mod armor is made so that if anything would bring you to the point of search, it recovers your hp to max
For a split second, I was going to ask why... Then I remembered all the stuff I did with Thaumcraft that no other mod would make me do.
Now I'm looking for a place to build a pool...
A friend of mine made the stuff on a server we had. He killed himself with it when he was messing with it and then kept trying to kill me with it..... I just happened to of just made some Draconic Evolution armor. So he wasn't too pleased with is inability to instakill me.
I dont know if you can after putting the liquid in, but you should definitely change the tiles to something darker as it gets deeper -like something darker than the material before every 20y- for maximum thalassophobia spooks.
Idk how thaumcraft works. Did you use something added by thaumcraft or another mod to fill the hole or did you do it bucket by bucket? I'm assuming it's not something infinite like water.
I used Mekanism's Fluidic Plenisher to fill the hole. I got the vast amount I needed with an automated setup which you can see [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/feedthebeast/comments/jw9144/automating_thaumcrafts_liquid_death_so_that_i_can/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3).
Hah, neat. The main use I found for the Liquid Death was making a vanilla auto chicken cooker, but with a bucket of lava swapped for a bucket of liquid death. Gets you the useful drops along with essentia crystals automatically!
Just one of the most popular magic oriented mod out there, you know.
At first it's a bit annoying to go through because you have to unlock everything(or you can just use "/tc research" cheat). I'd say if you want to play it then the 1.7.10 version is better imo, but 1.12 version and up has definitely more stuff in it. But I read that the mod is on a hiatus/the person in charge has changed and it's still not finished(can't confrim because I ditched Thaumcraft 6 when the Infusion Altar became way too hard to stabilize).
If I had to describe it in short then I'd say "You become a researcher and while trying to keep your sanity up you have to deal with preventing your world from turning into a corrupted, hostile environment." or at least that's how it worked in 1.7.10.
It goes well with Astral Sorcery if you're into magic and a lot of mod packs have it on the list.
If you have a good healing spell, it makes blood magic so much easier.
I just sit in my healing cloud while I'm filling the blood altar basically without taking damage :D
I love to use Liquid Death in my Osmotic Enchanting Room (Thaumic Tinkerer) as a floor. But I put it in Openblocks tanks which connect and look invisible and then I only need 2 bucket.
Also, doesn't making the stuff give you permanent warp? or am I thinking of an older version
Okay, so I did the math.
Each bucket of liquid death requires 32 essentia of Mortuus, Perditio, and Venenum.
That pool is 16x17 and extends from y87 to y1 which is 86 blocks for each column, now making it 16x17x86.
This equals 23,392 blocks of liquid death. How tf. That's 748,544 essentia for each of those aspects total.
I'm pretty sure this was creative but also *why*.
1. The pool is 17x17
2. Not creative, ProjectE is crazy. [You can see my production setup here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/feedthebeast/comments/jw9144/automating_thaumcrafts_liquid_death_so_that_i_can/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
3. At least in Stoneblock 2, the recipe requires 100 mortuus, 50 perditio, and 20 alkemia
I'm going to drink the forbidden smoothie
It doesn't look like much... but just knowing it goes that deep instills some sort of... dread Really cool :D
Thalassophobia. Thaumalassophobia?
That's the fear of ocean depths right?
Also just very deep water.
r/thalassophobia
Thanaphobia ^_^
Thaumcraftophobia
Same
Reddit does not deserve my culture, thoughts, or intellectual property if it chooses to use the power I give it against me.
What properties does Liquid Death have? So much that you need to fill so much with it?
It does a ton of damage to almost anything that touches it, and also makes most mobs drop vis crystals. But I just did it for the hell of it.
Damn it, vis crystals, vis crystals, I am currently playing Thaumcraft 3, are they something from thaumcraft 6?
It should be a thing in 1.7 version of Thaumcraft(4th iteration I think).
TC6 vis crystals are the equivalent to the essentia fragments from TC3.
Ahh I see, that sounds very useful then!
How do you get it? Thinking of making a moat...

Thanks!
That’s honestly what I was thinking about when I saw his other post. I guess I just have castles on the mind, not that they serve any purpose in MC other than to look cool.
What next , evil genius conference room , with boss chair for you and button controlled retractable floor for visiors ? )
Ah , i remember , you posted you compact machine liquid death factory earlier ! Nice job )
Or, as we call this sort of thing in Thaumcraft OSHA: "An accident waiting to happen"
Sure, I might fall into it, but this is in Stoneblock 2 and I have Avaritia's infinity armor. I'm pretty sure the only thing that could actually hurt me would be other players with infinity tools, but this is a singleplayer world.
even the /kill doesnt work with the avaritia armor xD
Really? Damn, that's pretty funny. Combine that with the Extra Utilities sword that does damage even to players in creative and you'll have a character even the admins fear 😈
While the /kill doesnt kill you, the /ban still works xD
Now to make ban-proof armor...
Has science gone too far?
No, it's the commands that are wrong.
Time to UUID ban using mods
Actually avaritia sword can kill creative players too. In one hit. Also you get the achievement Even Gods Can Bleed, which I found hilarious.
That's a nice Easter egg
Haha damn, I knew Avaritia was OP but that's just silly. I love it.
The sword of the cosmos from avaritia is basically just a /kill stick, and it also kills creative players.
~~If I remember right, I believe it protects from up to three different simultaneous causes of death. You’d have to die at least four times, at once, to actually die.~~ Nevermind it’s that the sword tries to kill you in three different ways.

Now you just need to use the portal gun to run around dropping things into it!
A friend of mine made the stuff on a server we had. He killed himself with it when he was messing with it and then kept trying to kill me with it..... I just happened to of just made some Draconic Evolution armor. So he wasn't too pleased with is inability to instakill me.
What makes this post even better is the ad that Reddit has below it, which references some sort of all natural soap by DrSquatchSoap... Lol
Is that one of those test features that not everyone has yet? I've been seeing people complain about it but haven't gotten any in-post ads yet.
I guess, started a week or two ago. The comedic timing is the only benefit I've really noticed thus far.

Wait, you're the one who posted about your automated liquid death system! Nice
How does one obtain that much Live Action Cat in the Hat Fluid
that’s like what, 20576 buckets? assuming 16x16x86, math could be a little off
It's 17x17, but yeah pretty close
I dont know if you can after putting the liquid in, but you should definitely change the tiles to something darker as it gets deeper -like something darker than the material before every 20y- for maximum thalassophobia spooks.
make it gradient is what im saying lol im a master wordsmith
Will a drop kill them all?

Is this from the same guy who posted creating a bunch of liquid death in a machine?
Yep
Hah, neat. The main use I found for the Liquid Death was making a vanilla auto chicken cooker, but with a bucket of lava swapped for a bucket of liquid death. Gets you the useful drops along with essentia crystals automatically!
This man is crazy
Looks sick btw
Kinda off topic, but has anyone picked up thaumcraft again? I’m starting to move on from 1.12 but I’ll definitely miss it.
As soon as King Lemming finishes the CoFH mods and his other projects he should pick TC back up
what is thaumcraft? Im looking for new mods and might get it

downloading it 100%

That's... genius.
Few things feel better than filling your altar with the blood of just-born villagers
You're going to superhell.
>You're going to superhell. I know
Or an anchored Astral Sorcery healing ritual. I just tried this and it's like cheating.
Warpy researches give temp warp when crafted, and I believe they also only do it the first time?
I've made a bunch of that stuff and don't remember anything special happening to me. But again, maybe that's just the voices
You should add a plank to make people walk.
I saw your post earlier on the factory!
HAHAHA! HOLE! :D
Looks like *overkill* to me
One question. why?
bECaUse I cAn
Nice to see the results of your labor.
Dont you need to craft this bucket by bucket?
In theory yes, but with Actually Additions and some other mods it can be automated. He made a post a few days back showing the factory
This looks like that death-room from Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Is that what you were going for, or is it just a coincidence?
I miss that mod, wish he kept it updated
Nice
Yer not right up thar, bruh.
Forbidden pool. Do you have sign "Swimming prohibited" or it's "Swimming pool , 10 emeralds per ticket " ?
