Sweetie if I am not wearing a dress or skirt, leggings or jegging are my go to for pants. A skirt or dress can be made to look excellent in any situation and comfortable in casual situations.
I'm not sure about the sizing, but my favourite dressy-casual-comfy pants are from Hilary Radley! I got them from a Liquidation Nation store in my province. I think they're also at Walmart? Best of luck either way!!

Lane Bryant 4 Season Ankle Pants! They’re on sale right now, and I may need to go buy more myself. I bought a black pair to go with my “interview suit” (being interviewed in media not jobs, but either way….), and they are PAJAMA COMFORTABLE. Toss on a casual top, and sandals and go hang out with friends! I will be wearing them on a 20 hour flight next month.
