yeah its so weird bcz even if i know something is mostly harmless, its just scary to see something that isnt supposed to be there, like rats can look cute but not when theyre running across your floor and hiding in the house yk?
Yes, got bit by a ton of 'em early on in my childhood, with multiple allergic reactions. Now only Daddy Long Legs are spared, the rest receive overkill.
As long as they don’t come near me I generally leave them alone unless it’s like a huge one. A spider lives in the ceiling corner of my room but I leave it there because it catches all the other bugs
idk if this is controversial but every time i see a spider in my room i get really excited and happy, it feels like i have a little friend just hanging from the ceiling (goodness it sounds like i'm lonely when i put it like that... frick wait am i-)
fair though like they crawl everywhere and have legs in ways that you'd not expect things to so it does make sense
If there’s minimal chance of them bothering or biting me, I leave em be or look at them/their webs pretty closely.
The spider in the porta-john that’s right above the sitting part can go screw itself tho.
I know that they're friendly if you leave them alone and they catch flies and stuff.... but they still creep me out and scare the hell outta me whenever I see one.
I've started relocating them outside instead of just killing them though, which is a start.
I like them, they can be neat, but I wish they’d stop lowering into my showers and right in front of me in general. That and I saw across the spider verse last weekend so I can’t not find ‘em neat
I'm not fond of them, but as long as they're not in certain spaces - like my bedroom or bathroom - I'll let them be. They help control pests like mosquitoes, gnats, and biting flies, which I *do* despise.
Yes, that happens to me with spiders as well. I live right next to a bunch of trees, bushes, and all kinds of plants so whenever it gets cold outside or really stormy, all the bugs including the spiders try to take shelter in the house. It ain’t that bad tho cause I end up having someone else kill the bug while I go and feel all itchy and start tearing apart, moving furniture in the house and smacking myself wherever I itch out of paranoia. Except if it’s a daddy long leg spider or a tarantula I’m ok. They are cute creatures to me. I’m to scared to get close to most large bugs to ward them off or kill them though. Like I’m ok with bees but wasps I will freak if they come within range of 3 feet. Lol
There is a family of spiders on the ceiling of my shower and theyve been there for a few years now.
WTF YEARS???
I think they've been there for years. I've forgotten at this point lol.
dude learn to do the fucking abyss shriek from hollow knight just to eviscerate those mfs
Lol
That’s pretty cool. Do you know what species?
Nah, I love them. They are so fascinating and alien and weird looking and sometimes cute. I would love to have a tarantula one day.
Mine are brown recluse so they're less cute looking but still all the alien
Yes very much so!!!
I hate those bastards
Small ones? No. Large ones? Yes
I'm the opposite kinda: Small, quick ones : no Smaller, calm ones : fairs Medium : hell no Large (tarantula size) : eh, there fine
Anyone else who DOESN'T hate spiders?!?!

Clean
Spiders are cute doe…
Mmm maybe some of them like jumping spiders, but my house mostly has brown recluse, so less cute
Definetely less cute, it’s all fun and games until you get necrosis
They’re much cuter up close.

For me it just looks so alien and the way they walk. it creeps me out. Maybe I watched too many sci fi movies lol
omg have u seen the alien like the original one it was so good
I have a few poems for you
By all means, share
Is it the one about the saving the spider in a tissue?
Tarantulas are cute, in the same way hairless cats are
Spiders are honorary femboys.
I love spiders, cockroaches and crickets are the only insects that really scare me
yah I also hate them :(
I don’t mind them. If someone wants it gone I’ll set it free outside but I prefer to let them be. Keeps mosquitoes and flies away.
I am freaking out the spiders any spiders even size doesnt matter
What about Minecraft spiders
Um you know what minecraft spiders are ok
No I like them
I don't hate them but i am terrified of them
“Does anyone else drink water?”
No, I used to work in an insectary. But I hate Mice and Rats. 😑
Yes, got bit by a ton of 'em early on in my childhood, with multiple allergic reactions. Now only Daddy Long Legs are spared, the rest receive overkill.
Have you ever accidentally killed one of those spiders that explodes into millions of babies? Legit nightmare fuel.
They're scary 😨
Don't hate them just scared of them but they're also incredible.
I let the spiders in my house live rent free depending on the type I show love They keep me safe
I'm ok with them as long as they stay away, far away
As long as they don’t come near me I generally leave them alone unless it’s like a huge one. A spider lives in the ceiling corner of my room but I leave it there because it catches all the other bugs
Yes I hate them I want them all to burnt to cinders but they scare me so I stay on the other side of the room to them whilst cryong

The trick is to find a partner who isn't afraid of spiders.
Depends, if they are big hairy and fast no thank you
Tarantulas are OK with me Daddy Long Legs Hell Yeah they can stay but if it’s a small-medium nasty spider nope by especially Brown Recluses!
I think they're cute and I try to never hurt them. But sometimes they scare me and I do have a dark past.
I think, they're cute

Im very scared of them but no hate

Nah. Most of them are cool. Especially jumping spiders. I used to keep them.
I love spiders and snakes and things considered scary
Im scared of and hate most bugs :(
If they're big enough that u can see the detail on them, yes. I hate them.
I send them to the bleach dimension.
I'm not fond of them, but as long as they're not in certain spaces - like my bedroom or bathroom - I'll let them be. They help control pests like mosquitoes, gnats, and biting flies, which I *do* despise.
I used to but they keep bugs out of my plants so we’re cool………….ish.
As long as they are not venomous and keep to themselves in one of 8 corners we cool
