Well it’s up to people if they believe in signs and that. Personally I think that when you really feel nervous about doing something, your brain can look for validation on why doing that is a bad idea, like a defence mechanism. I hope you’re doing well!
Well maybe you’re not ready. But I think that if it’s something you want then you should be careful when you decide to give up. But deciding to wait is different. There is a right time for everything.
Yeah I haven't given up completely yet, but I also don't know what I'm waiting for. Getting a girlfriend (or boyfriend) eventually to help me was my plan for the longest time, but that won't happen for a long while. And moving out won't happen soon either. So what should I be waiting for?

What your parents do and don’t like and believe should not directly impact what you do. I don’t know how old you are and maybe with some time you will find the individuality to stand for yourself against severe external pressure. You will change and grow 1000%. You get to decide how and how much you want to lean into that.
I mean it shouldn't impact it, but it definitely makes doing what you want to do a whole lot harder
I can definitely stand up for myself but god knows how they will react, there's a lot of pressure
