The trouble with sounds is that simmers want the opposite of what real pilots want.
Real pilots wear noise cancelling headphones so they can sit in relative silence.
Simmers want deafening engine and wind noise at all times.
Look at the MD80; “the engines are so quiet from the cockpit”. No shit Sherlock, they’re a mile behind you!
I dont think you fully understand what bad means . As for common knowledge? It’s not even out yet. Just shows how much of a toxic echo chamber this sub is
PMDG's 777 looks like it only has delivery miles when compared to the 777's the airline I work for flies.
The only time our landing gear is that clean is after we've replaced a set!
Don't forget it's Boeing, door plug disappeared in flight, 777 loose wheel, dirt on new plane, suicidal mcas.....
Don't worry it's just normal with Boeing
Boeing only has problems with the 737 MAX and 787. 777 has been reliable for forever and the loose wheel is a maintenance team issue. 90% of the more recent incidents have been maintenance team issues
I was not planning on buying day one but working from home Wednesday with a few hours break in the afternoon to set up a long haul flight to then land late at night. So yea hope there is no delay.
Planning MIA-HNL.
Good damn it looks so huge, and so sexy..... fuuuuuuu\*\*\*\*K, looking forward to this tomorrow. Straight from work to download this aircraft. Hope it goes fast. do you buy it directly from operation centre or buy it from the site first, then download it via operation centre?
So they don't have to pick favorites with liveries when they share screenshots, and they would have to have licensing agreements with the airlines to use their liveries in marketing materials. Manufacturers have their own house liveries too.
Two reasons:
1. Marketing.
2. Getting a license to market your product with someone else’s livery can get expensive and an all white livery would look boring in screenshots.
That’s promising if they said it looks ready for release tomorrow. Let’s hope they don’t find any bugs which will set it back a few days 🤞🏻
I agree, i know people doesn't like the sounds. But honestly, i would rather fly this by 25 than getting it delayed because of sounds.
I bet they’re not even that bad, this sub looks for things to complain about, then whines about them to no end

if you want engine sound in a 777 is in the passenger seat right next to the engine where I always seat!
Work on the ramp long enough you won’t notice the difference the game and the real thing. “Huh…!!!!! Whad you say?!?”
They are bad nothing like a ge90 and stop trying to dress jt up it’s common knowledge

Mathjis said that? Project delayed! (That's how it worked at Aerosoft at least)
![gif](giphy|rULGb0wtaeAEM) Yes!!!!!!!! 🤣
It look like a new plane at Everett, ready to take the sky
it looks new? I think you missed all the dirt/grime texture work they did.

that texturing made a huge step forward since the first photos appeared a while ago.

Keen to see every single plane on VATSIM convert from 737’s and A320’s to 777’s and A380’s.

Website then download in the ops centre
Ok thx!
Buy on the web, download on the web actually. The Op Center is only for liveries afterwards.
ahh.. thought u buy from the web, and download through Op centre
Alright, that model really is a work of art. Damn.
My $ is ready!
Any word on the specific release time?
Does this mean it’s okay to be cautiously optimistic?
dammit I'm not interested in long haul but these vids and pics are keeping me interested. damn you PMDG!!
What about the PMDG 737? MAX
That tire looks real
They got tire and degradation data from the manufacturers themselves, so I’d say they are pretty real.
God that caption actually made me laugh out loud
I cannot understand why developers liveries even exist. Be it Fenix, PMDG or Blackbird. &

For the same reason Boeing and Airbus have their own house liveries. Marketing…

Nobody‘s gonna ask „which 777 is that?“
Recognition and marketing
Even if it wasn't for marketing purposes, sometimes it's just fun y'know? Not every plane you fly has to be in an Emirates livery or whatever.
Yeah, I know. There are people using Emerson’s Harbour liveries. Others are walking through airport interiors even.
