chokingonpancakes

Whatever my Mirelurk Steamer is cookin' up.

ColdStoneCreamAustin

Same. It produces more than enough to get me by. Great investment.

knightsaber2014

What is this? Any info for a new player?

kodotap00n

It was in the atom shop awhile ago pretty sure. Basically just produces cooked mirelurk foods for free in your camp so you don't have to hunt

ColdStoneCreamAustin

Mirelurk Steamer. It’s a CAMP object that produces food over time with various effects, including bonus carry weight. It was just for sale individually on the Atomic Shop a week or so ago for 250 Atoms. Unfortunately it’s gone now, but can still be purchased via the Disaster Dock bundle.

mont3000

I remember those posts but unfortunately I was too green to understand how big this was. Even though I read it, I could not comprehend.

SequentialGamer

You can get a similar bonus from the food vendor at Nuka Tour. She sells Yao Guai pastries (+75 carry if carnivore) and gulper stuffed foot (+5 str if carnivore). Both last 1hr. She sells one per day to each character but you can server hop to get as many as you want. Easy +100 carry.

Xthasys

new player here too, always check the atomic shop and when you see some good discount of something come here to check if people say something, i get my mirelurk steamer at 50% discount best 250 atoms ever

chokingonpancakes

You can still get it via the Bethesda Support page method. You open a ticket requesting to buy the item via Bethesda Support page, if you have enough atoms in your account they will send back a confirmation and let you purchase it.

CheekyLando88

Thank you! Buying it later

ElBurritoLuchador

Basically a boiler-looking object with a mirelurk being steamed. Gives out different Mirelurk-based foods every 10 minutes or so. Handy to have if you're too lazy to cook. Jump around from Camp to Camp as most players have them. Most also don't lock it so you can grab a bite.

sdeason82

It’s in the atom shop. Look for the bundle with the big red boat

JediRhyno

I just bought it on the atom store last week (new player here as well) because I read several things saying it was one of the best things to buy. Constant food popping out of it and now I never need to worry about hunger again.

Noclassydrops

I have carnivore and speed demon and i never have any issues with what it produces

logicbox_

Brain fungus soup and cranberry relish are all I really eat along with my company tea. I add blight soup if I’m commando.

SmurfStig

Put some pants on, there are new dwellers about! (Don’t forget the birthday cake and coffee)

skatenbikes

I was doing brain fungus for a while but I got lazy and just do corn soup now

VelvetCowboy19

Eat 3 corn soup > suck down company tea > move along with my day

pygmeedancer

Ass jerky. Cause sometimes a fella’s gotta eat another fella.

userforce

Too bad ass jerky don’t make itself.

pygmeedancer

No it don’t 😂

Wild2O98

Corpses

SpaghettiInc

Carnivore Cannibal build is some insane quality of life. Get one or two water purifiers on your camp and you’re set. I also use ghoulish and What Rads? To heal from the rads I gain and subsequently regen them away

Chemical_Present5162

With What Rads you can drink anything out in the wastes and it'll be healed in moments

Btoop

I never carry food or drink. I just manically gobble up everything I find, as and when I find it.

HeinrichFuchs

Same here, no point wasting weight on food and drink in my opinion.

im_stoopid9283

Maybe I should consider dumping my 200 purified waters.

Gearballz

Sell them bitches while on 🍇 mentats

decalte

Gimme! (joking, but you CAN use them to dilute chems and I think they're needed to make stimpaks)

Rzrman19

or make vegetable starch (for adhesive) recipe requires purified water not boiled

Glittering_Airport_3

use expired Flux instead if ur just drinking it. works just like purified water but weighs a lot less.

renome

literal savage

DoorCalcium

The mirelurk fillet with carnivore is a godsend. Free +60 carry weight. Other than that, I use the other mirelurk stuff for food.

PrivateChonkin

Try it with strange in numbers and backwoodsman 6 too

DoorCalcium

That's a good idea! But magazines only last 30 minutes. Is it practical to keep using it? How do you get a bunch?

PrivateChonkin

You can use the curator perk to double the duration, but they are very difficult to come by lately. You basically have to trade an arm and a leg. I’ve got a small supply that I use sparingly when I need a serious boost to either carry weight, xp from tasty squirrel stew, or melee damage from any of the other tasty meals.

LuckyFernet

I should've gotten that mirelurk steamer smh

drackmore

Allegedly (I can't speak for the accuracy of the information as I haven't done so myself) you can submit a ticket on FO76's support page and supposedly you can get them to sell you atom shop items through that. Allegedly they take the atoms from your account and directly apply the purchase to you. But yes, the Mirelurk Steam is an amazing purchase solely for the Smoked Mirelurk Fillets. If you cannot buy the steamer through the support thing best you can do is just keep an eye out for it and pray. Cause man it is rock solid with the Carnivore Mutation.

TipElegant2751

I'm from the new influx, and so far I've been sticking to Mutfruit Juice and Razorwheat Soup mostly, though my stock of Radstag Steaks is so big I can lean on it if I wasn't selling most of it (sells better than soup, so I'll eat the soup). I know there are much better things to rely on, but these have been easy and at the moment I'm hesitant about running out of salt, pepper, and/or spice with better meal changes.

Awfullyred

Corn soup cured both water and food and gives an ap boost i would opt for that instead of razorgrain tbh

TipElegant2751

I think I'm going to be moving toward Sweet Tato Stew (which has hp regen) since I confirmed a pretty good route for snaptails and can get steady sugar now. But AP is always a concern, I'll keep that in mind, ty.

DarthSnoopyFish

Corn soup and the herbivore mutation are a great combo. Fills your thirst and hunger.

onicker

I would start farming for salt and pepper at Bolton Greens. Spice is a little harder to come by, but I often find a container is every kitchen. I almost always have too much in my inventory. I’d recommend walking over to Aaronholt Farm and adding Cranberry Cobbler to your menu. It gives a lil xp buff and only requires cranberries and water.

TipElegant2751

Well, got Carnivore tonight while getting too curious near an ash furnace, or something like that. So going to have to reconsider most of my meal choices, if I decide to keep it.

ChefCrondo

Whatever I have in my inventory lol

Shadowmage17

Nuka candy and when I run low on that I have honey and the steamer to fall back on

Oliver90002

I have so much honey I... I never found a use for it...

disturbednadir

I'll hop down to the teapot and give it to Sweetwater for the quest, and then he just gives me some back...

Avarus_88

I cannot figure out why he gives 5-6 bits back 😂

disturbednadir

IKR, he asked for 10, but only needed like 5.

SmurfStig

Sweetwater blend for rifle builds. Equip Party Boy/Girl and herbivore: +15 Perception

Largofarburn

Corn soup all day every day.

blurrywhirl

Corn soup on the food hotkey, 8

trixyd

Yep, easy and cheap to do as well. Bonus.

DexRei

Here here

77horse

Literally anything that can be cooked. I will either eat or sell the cooked variant. Thank you that guy that dropped 200+ gulper slurries for me to cook

SerendipityLn42

My mom called it a seafood diet .. see food and eat it Lol

Telecaster_Love

Survival Shortcut...😎👍

MightBeExisting

Whatever I find in the trash cans

D-camchow

Just like real life

Scutshakes

Thanks to a couple of perks , my diet consists entirely of nuka cola and dog food.

reddstone1

Smoked Mirelurk, company tea and coffee.

Extaminos

Nuka Cola Candy and Perfect Bubblegum.

ZeinV2

I have like 200 perfect bubblegum still from just normal playing. I use maybe 1 or 2 per day

hotdiggitydooby

Same, I survive on those and company tea

ANort

Mostly just dog food and stuff from the mirelurk steamer, should probably use popcorn more often now that you mention it, and I want that weenie wagon so bad.

drbanegaming

I'm trying to find out how to get the weenie wagon

drackmore

From what I've heard the weenie wagon is from the Meat Week event thing. I hope that's wrong and there's a way to get it currently because man I'd love to have a source of Canned Dog Food. I'd literally get rid of all my other food and chems if I could get my hands on a weenie wagon. I'd literally carry nothing but Canned Coffee, Dog Food, Smoked Mirelurk Fillets (that +60 carry weight for an hour is to good), Bufftats (more carry weight when needed), Grape Mentats (barter rates), and Pyschobuff (fuck your scorch queen). I could literally purge like 400lbs of food and chems if I could get one of those weenie wagons. He says, knowing damn good and well that if he did ever get one he'd just have 400lbs of coffee and dogfood.

drunkengeebee

Canned dog food exclusively.

Speedycar100

Soup from the communist collection! The only capitalist that can be trusted is a dead capitalist!

Character_Newt_2309

Back to work, Comrade

Maimage0

So i'm a herbivore since commando but i use a Herb serum so i can pop meat buffs as well. Here is the list from the mod i use( it pops them all at once with 1 button) [https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout76/mods/2324](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout76/mods/2324) If anyone is interested Brain Bombs, "Cranberry Relish", "Sweetwater Special", "Company Tea", "Live & Love 3", "Infused Soot Flower Tea", "Steeped Melon Blossom Chai", "Steeped Gourd Blossom Tea", "Steeped Fern Flower Tea", "Smoked Mirelurk Fillets", "Blight Soup", "Serum(any i have on me to take out the negative effects, usually herb + eye + adren for Str)", "Popcorn". So thats +50% to all these buffs through Live Love 3 (includes meats when using herb serum) Company Tea is 37.5% Ap regen Brain Bombs 12 Int Cranberry Relish 38% Xp Sweetwater is a whopping 23! Perception with party girl Infused is 75 Max AP Melon Blosson Chai is 8 Agi Gourd Blossom is 8 End Fern Flower is 8 Str Smoked Fillets are 112.5 Carry weight Blight Soup is 188% crit dmg( there is a thistle tea for 1 hour but its 10x harder to craft) Popcorn for the -hunger and thrist [https://i.imgur.com/poXbBtm.png](https://i.imgur.com/poXbBtm.png) Pic of my buff list

DudasManolitos

Whatever is spoiling first lol, I don’t really bother min-maxing my eating habits, whatever comes up to fill the gauge is fine… Not gonna be picky in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, right?!

Character_Newt_2309

Right.

mikehocksard

Corn soup all day every day

smackrock420

Perfect gum and overeaters armor.

AetherialWomble

Dog food producer is coming? Edit: it is at the bottom of the "resource producer" tab in the building menu. No plan for it yet, but it's there

Therocknrolclown

Whatever is laying around, I do not carry any food ever.... Cause it's everywhere now.

sebwiers

Ohh man, that could be a whole essay. Suffice to say that for any buff you can think of, there is a food, and I've used all of them. And I use various Nukas for all my healing, and Brahmin/ milk for rad management (both up and down). I don't use any chems, stims, or radaway at all...

reasonableperson4342

Just about anything, but I did get the mirelurk steamer recently.

PossumJackPollock

Herbivore but I'm lazy. So melons. Tons and tons of melons. Gives both food and water. Easy top off of the meters. I have a big patch glitched into close proximity of each other on my roof. I won't carry food with me, I'll just pop over to my base during play and fill up when I drop off other stuff in my stash or need to craft. Eventually I'll care about buffs more again and get back into cranberry relish. But whatever. As long as stuff dies I'm fine.

Budda720

Damn lots of cooks in the wasteland... I have someplace in the neighborhood of 200 perfect bubble gum.(never bought a single one mind you) they last an hour and cover both food and drink. I only cook food when it's a daily thing. There's literally no point in hunting down ingredients for cooking for for buffs as MOST OF THEM ONLY LAST A FEW MINS.(between 2-5 mins for 85% of them) untter waste if time.

Green-Inkling

Dog food, nuka cherry, and steamed mirelurk. Sometimes a deathclaw steak or squirrel stew if i have them.

Phantom_61

Dog food.

GodzillasBoner

Humanoid corpses

TapReasonable2678

I use the popcorn maker and the birthday cake for foodstuff.

ElBurritoLuchador

Farm Brahmin Meat and cook Ribeye Steak. Gives an extra carry weight bonus. Double or Triple if you have Carnivore.

cigarmanpa

Blight soup, brain fungus soup, company tea, cranberry relish, mutfruit juice, gourd soup

Swordofsatan666

Mirelurk Steamer + Nuka Cola Candy Machine, also Canned Coffee Machine and Nuka-Cola (from Collectron with Nuka-Cola setting) for Drinks. Nuka Cola Candy’s AP Effect stacks just like with Canned Coffee, so im constantly munching Candy and Coffee to keep my AP up lol. The collectron brings me a shit ton of Nuka Cola, basically all the varieties except Dark and the one you craft in the Story. Ive got 15 of all Nuka Varieties on me at every moment (i have backpack that reduces the weights of Food, Drinks, and Chems by 90%). But standard Nuka i keep 30 on me. Any Nukas i have over 15-30 gets put in storage until i have like 50 saved up, then i toss the saved up Nukas into my Vendor. Basic Nukas sold for 10, Grape and Quantum for 30, Cranberry for 25, the other varieties between 10-20 Edit: for the Mirelurk Steamer i really only eat the Steamed Mirelurk because Carry Weight. It gives so much of all the Mirelurk Foods that they spoil before i use them most of the time, and thanks to perks/legendary effects that make them spoil slower i usually have like 10 of each on me at all times

SockomkplaysV2

The flesh of my enemies

MetalHorizon10

Whatever is edible

spoods420

I just cook whatever up and chow down .

Strange-Scarcity

I eat whatever I can find, cook up or whatever. I aim for more advanced recipe things, but it’s okay if I just end up with base cooked foods.

TheDukeSam

Gourd soup, and brain fungus soup. Also cranberry juice and cobbler.

Sergeant_Wombat

Birthday cake, company tea, coffee , purified water, and melons.

Tremulant887

Popcorn and candy because I'm a lazy asshole and throw the goods into the cryofreezer like I'm saving Phoenix Downs in ff7.

botvoxx

Seafood(mirelurk steamer) and purified water lol

ilikerockstoo

Grilled Ragstad is a MUST

Tokata0

Herbivore - Blight soup for 100% crit damage - Brain fungus soup for day-to-day play (+ int), brain bombs (more + int) whenever there is a high exp event going on (keeping some in my cryo freezer) - Cranberry sauce for +exp - Company tea (if available, haven't got the vendor yet) or corn soup for ap regen - Trying out sweetwater special blend for +15 perception - Thinking about a food to increase str... but not sure if thats worth pursuing. Might switch to carnivore once all my legendary perks are maxed out for that +melee damage tho.

Cat_Lover_21011981

Dead people to keep my hunger topped up but mostly corn soup.

ThouKnave

I realized I have been picky on food. Except, my main character self removes 2 rads a second. As long as its not diseased food, it's fine. Worse, I had 200 of those free nuka cola candys from the the free camp vending machine. $#&@*$#! That was 30 lbs of weight wasted! Argh. I don't think they fall under the light weight food perks. Drink of choice is usually purified water. I have to save all those nuka colas for grenades.

southernPepe

i eat corpses mostly. Throw in some dog food for good measure.

0wnzorPwnz0r

I don't bother with food unless I'm reeeeeally trying to grind XP during double XP events. I just don't see the point otherwise 🤷🏻‍♂️

Tension-Flashy

Company Tea. Cranberry relish, Fried Scorpion or Radroach on a stick, Gulper Stuffed Foot and Yao Guai Pastry every hour.

Puzzleheaded-Sun-265

Smoked mirelurk filets , soup, occasionally Nuka colas

baron556

I run herbivore so if I have time I'll make cranberry relish and some popcorn to top it off. If a good event just popped and I'm not buffed I'll just hoover up some raw corn or something to get my overeaters buff going

Niah_Zarabi

Blight soup for me

CaptZombieHero

I’m exclusively a surf and turf enjoyer

No_Doubt_About_That

Mothman Egg Omelettes, anything that doesn’t require boiled water.

chemza

Did you get the new water boiler in the scoreboard? Could help with boiled water recipes.

JB_Dix

Herbivore + partyboy Company tea Brain fungus soup Blight soup of sweet mutfruit tea Mutfruit juice Corn soup Razorgrain soup Cranberry Relish Sweetwater special blend +12 perception 15 with strange in numbers. Carnivoreb + Partyboy + colanut Company Tea Tasty squirrel stew One of these Glowing steak Yao Guai ribs or Tasty Yao Gua roast Mutant hound chops Deathclaw steak or Wellington Whiskey +6 Str or Nuka Dark +6 Str and +6 End

cl0ckw0rks

Carnivore Mirelurk Steamer baby

VanityOfEliCLee

I truly wish there was an item that versatile and useful for herbivores. That one Steamer gives so many useful food items regularly I have one in my camp just for any carnivores that might come hang out.

Mama_Miasmia

Brain fungus soup and cranberry juice as my daily diet, and I stockpile ingredients for brain bombs and cranberry relish for exp weekends and events. I have a camp near the sundew Grove in cranberry bog and the ingredients are plentiful. The setup is cherry.

BaconToday

Back in the day I ran good doggie/ cola nut because I was over reacting to the mutation that makes stims less effective. Now I use wasteland survivor syurms and add company tea, corm soup, brain fungus, and if at a good event I pop a cranbery relish, and down copious cans of coffee like I do IRL.

ll_YOrch_ll

Drink: Company tea. Food: anything thanks to Whats rads legendary perk lmao

BlueLiquidPlus

Herbivore, but a lot of prewar foods. I commonly take the Sunshine Industrial Farm to produce food for myself, and anyone that wants to stop by for free food and water, and just get some instamash. Otherwise I’ll always grab some beans and rice, Veggie Ham, and Mac and cheese to hold on to or vacuum down as soon as I see it. Sugar bombs get held to be sold in the shop for the wandering chefs that like to make Brain Bombs. Meat gets cooked with super duper and then vendored for caps.

atomicglitters

Company tea, coffee and nuka cola candies

Hurzak

Whatever garbage I can find to shove in my mouth.

sinisterhistory

Smoked Mirelurk Filets and Grilled Radstag for carry weight boosts right from my resource generators

theolentangy

I’m a VATS rifleman so company tea(from the machine, it’s not easy to farm), mirelurk cakes for AGI, and sometimes anything that gives max AP or PER or LCK. I keep a small part of my CAMP to grow mutfruit, corn, tatos, and carrots. I used to cook a wider variety of foods, these days mostly it ends up as fertilizer. I don’t really need any of it, I don’t solo group content for the most part, and my limitations are currently not having a Quad railway yet rather than small stuff like AP regen, so sometimes I just end up eating whatever I cook up to sell to vendors. Many events provide a LOT of cooking ingredients!

Avarus_88

Blight soup, brain fungus soup/brain bombs, cranberry relish, company tea, mutfruit juice, tato juice, tato salad, and sweet waters special blend. I use granny to keep my few bits of overeaters running, and popcorn, water, and nuke colas otherwise. (When I don’t have a supply of perfect gum) I also do the nuka cola dark with party boy thing to get my luck over 33 on bosses so I crit every other shot with crit savvy. And lots of coffee. I like to say I’m a food build.

Mistermatt91

I don't for the most part. I'm not bothered about maxing out stats and things from food bonuses so Survival syringes to keep food and thirst up. And they cure disease. Handy

Eterna1Oblivion

Blight soup, brain fungus soup/brain bombs, Sweetwater Tea, sweet roll/ash rose tea. I don’t bother with the gourd or melon blossom cause of how much of a headache it is for me to collect.

Donnieivanhoe

Nukas and popcorn

phillipaw91997

I run carnivore and good with salt so honestly I pick up just about any meat I come across except for the bugs (ew gross; only exception being radscorpion). Then I’ll cook it all whenever I make a stop at my camp next. I’ll go through the list before a big event and eat half a dozen or so different foods with different buffs. But if I had to pick some go to’s it’d probably be tasty squirrel stew, roasted mirelurk fillets, awesome opposum bacon, birthday cake cause it still applies with carnivore and any nuka cola I have

AppaTheBizon

Blight Soup, company tea... sometimes tato Salad. For oh shit situations, Birthday Cake or Coffee

TacoDangerously

Whatever I have to cook…I eat that! It’s like a lottery!

Shity_Balls

Survival syringe, I have it favorited, and one is added to my inventory fast enough that I can use one and completely fill my food and water meter up entirely when the meter drops to half way or so.

YuriPetrova

I make soup and juice out of my garden fruit and veggies and eat cookies from the cookie jar. But for actually sustenance I just stab myself with a survival syringe.

BadgerOff32

Grilled Radstag all the way. I have the camp item that produces Radstag meat so I've got more of it than I know what to do with, and I have the Carnivore mutation so I constantly get +40 carry weight from eating it. Pretty much everything else gets sold.

Reasonable-Delivery8

Cranberry Relish, Brain Bombs, Blight Soup, Company Tea and Coffee.

oldninja55

Perfect bubblegum.

jturnerbu7

If you’re just eating to keep your food and thirst bars up then try perfect bubble gum. If you want to eat for the insanely strong buffs that food can provide then check out the carnivore or herbivore serums and start looking for foods that apply to whichever mutation you chose.

HistoricMiddleman

Grilled Radstag. For the carry weight and having carnivore. Chefs kiss

Fenris_NDN

either nuka candy or long pig.

Guilty-Activity

Melons take care of my food and drink at the same time. Grab a few on my way out and I'm good for a while

Foamie

Blight Soup, Cranberry Relish, Company Tea and Brain Fungus Soup. Herbivore is overpowered.

Quanathan_Chi

I just grab whatever off of the stuff I kill. Worst case, I'll have some more fertilizer in the future. I have the Carnivore mutation so farming crops really only serves me for brewing alcohol.

SkupperNog

Nothing beats Dinky-D. My food is pretty much EXCLUSIVELY dog food.

Grouchy-Struggle-722

I've lost all my teeth from nuka cola candy

HiTzFrOmDaKiNe

As herbivore, I do Blight, silt bean, corn, gourd soups, and Sweetwater tea and company tea.

Rocket499

Dog food with the accompanying perk and purified water

SleepyGeist

Whatever food gets me the Vss super sledge I’ve been hunting for, for 3 whole days lol. This game is driving me crazy

AnObtuseOctopus

Dogfood/ radstag stuff for the extra carry.

CrimsonBayonet

I only eat scorchbeast meat or glowing meat steak if I am running bosses. Other than that I just use the survival drug to keep my topped up.

DependentPurple5455

Perfect Bubblegum

shadowpavement

I just use the survival stim and keep popcorn around if I need to eat prewar food for the daily challenges.

MobilePublic7397

I am a fan of the amount of hunger that the dog food replenishes. I usually sell the items that mirlurk steamer produces. Some of those items sell for 10-11 caps per piece.

Solus_Vael

Smoked Mirelurk stuff and canned coffee. One buffs my AP and the other buffs my carrying cap. I'm still leveling up to 50.

Emmehsaur

I only use prewar foods because I forget about eating a lot and end up with pounds and pounds of spoiled meat and veggies

unique_username125

Tasty Squirrel Stew for those carnivores out there!!

ars3nk

I eat what I hunt

zui-fujiyama-

Spoiled food and a Nuka-Cola to wash it down.

MrFoxu

The only food I eat is whatever I need to get my rads up at the moment

cyferhax

Since I'm too lazy to cook up the better versions, Deathclaw Steak (+5str with Carnivore/Strange in numbers) and Glowing meat steak (+100% melee damage with Carni/SiN) YA there's better versions; but I can very easily keep my stock of those up.

PhaserRave

Carnivore carry weight, STR and END boosts, max AP and AP regen, melee damage buffs.

Brooksy_05

I just carry dog food and purified water I steal from my wells.

Gardomirror

Yeah sorry folks if you wonder where your sweetened (or salted) popcorn went... I took it. Damn I wish I had that machine alltho I am curious about this dog food machine you mentioned. Do you know when it will come out?

eL_MoJo

Who needs food when you can inject it straight into your veins.

corpsegrndr

Mirelurk steamer goodies, coffee, birthday cake, and company tea

Grizzly_Berry

If I'm intentionally making food, it's soup. I don't care what kind, but I have some wild razorgrain and glowing mushrooms near my house. I don't have any of the camp food producers like a popcorn machine or steamer, and I don't have recipes for company tea or anything like that, so I just go for convenience. Soup is food and drink. Otherwise, whatever comes my way. I have a ton of dog food and hundreds of purified water I should probably sell half of.

Darkrose50

I have carnivore, and mainly use dog food to keep my food meter up. My base is by White Springs, and I have the perk that allows me to find caned goods (I think I just have the first of two levels of the perk, and that is plenty enough).

SomePyro_9012

Ghouls, scorched, people, mole people and super mutants

Goffsyrup

Mostly dog food with the good boy perk, although thinking of switching to herbivore for my commando perk.

_SomeRedditUser

Spoiled Meat

Darkfoxx7

Corn soup!!! Delicious!

whitemest

Corn. Herbivore, corn.

Keinulive

Popcorns honestly xD I hate stuff spoiling in my bag and even if they give us a fridge upgrade for our backpack I still would only bring non perishables, don’t like using any of the food mutations cuz it feels silly being picky in the waste so I’ll eat anything I pick up

m3talf1sh1

I cook it all and eat it all. Give me the stat boosts please and thank you.

MiscalculatedRisk

Carnivore and the cannibal perk.

Eldistan1

I’m like an alcoholic goat.

Arch27

Mirelurk Steamer is my savior. Before that I'd scrounge for corn at the Wayward, forage for glowing fungus to make soup or find basic stuff like Cram and Sugar Bombs... or just go without food until absolutely necessary.

Timdog35

Perfect Bubblegum

ThatShadowyFigure

Nuka Candy (especially with a pre-war food SCORE challenge active) and Cannibalism for food, Water Cooler, Company Tea Machine, and Coffee Maker for Hydration

wythnail2

I eat brain fungus soup and blight soup, Cran relish and popcorn. I drink Sweetwater and company tea and mutfruit tea. Unless I run out, then I eat anything I can find

pablo603

My nuka cola candies and whatever is produced by that cookie jar. I missed the steamer sadly. Candy bois are very cool since they restore action points which works even during VATS or sprinting, and it stacks the more of them you eat. Eat 3 of them and you regen it faster than you lose it via sprint. The machine itself can hold like 15 of them too so no need to frequently visit it.

TheMagicalCoffin

whats good about canned dog food?

Pissaboutnothin

I feel bad cuz I murder the Brahmin by the Green County Lodge everyday...

donthurtmeok

Super bubble gum.

Tink_Colossus

During one of the 4th of July events, They put a free bundle containing 3x throwable fireworks, a basic repair kit and 1 Perfect bubblegum into the Atom store. Not sure how I noticed it was bugged but I absolutely redeemed it well over 200 times 😅 Now I wander the wasteland with a near infinite supply of perfect bubblegum to sustain me 😂

icecubepal

I used to eat Scorched Beast foods since I would farm the Queen all day.

Then_Inside6809

A massive stockpile of Perfect Bubblegum...and nothing else unless I need a random carry weight bonus. Everything else gets sold to the vendor for daily caps.

Ok-Administration228

Corn soup and canned coffee

IRBaboooon

Was hooked on ragstag and tea/water/coffee before the mirelurk steamer dropped

RepubliCat45-Covfefe

On the topic of food, I was selling/scrapping stuff, and noticed a weird icon beside a piece of food; anybody know what this is? [Tato with symbol](https://i.postimg.cc/7ZJ4GYtQ/20240501-162701.jpg) (Thinking maybe it means a quest needs it? Looked through my quests and not seeing any request for it...)

TheOneWithoutGorm

You've done that on your pipboy, you've tagged it. Any item containing tato will show that when you loot. You can tag any item e.g. steel, spring screw etc and it will show that symbol in an inventory

RepubliCat45-Covfefe

Interesting. I knew we could tag, but never recalled doing it. Must have been another fat-finger. 🤣 (hashtag)BeefyHands

FaithlesslyFree

I’m using carnivore serum, so meat for double the bonuses. XP is meat stew if the event ever pops up. Deathclaw Steak for my strength to boost into the 20’s for me (Deathclaw Island & Abandoned Waste Dump). To help with carry weight Grilled Ragstag and Brahmin Steak easy place to farm them at Flatwoods. I’m a melee build so I always use Glowing Meat Steak for damage.
