I would recommend working a resource grab into your daily log in routine, every time I hope on or swap servers I do a quick run to the fire depot near the rusty pick an Morgan university for weights to scrap for lead after a quick run in lucky hole for lead ore and picking up every gun cultist drop for steel I would use Ammo smith, Ammo factory, super duper and scrapper perk cards to maximize your yield. ammo tactics change depending on the ammo type you need of course so daily ops and expeditions are great too
I either do expos, or just do some general resources farming, buy if your crafting regular ammo and not ultraicte, it's just too difficult to keep up because the low craft amount
