Counterpoint...sugar and pastry dough don't allow you to carry 30 extra pounds. I guess in a way they do, as when you gain 30 extra pounds you have to carry it.
In some parts of the world sawdust was briefly actually used as filler material in making bread during WW2 due to a shortage of flour. The bread supposedly tasted as you would expect something with sawdust in it to taste.
Normal people: "Wtf why are you people eating sawdust when razorgrain is right there to make flour-based bread bases out of?!"
76ers: "The pain strengthens me!"
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Cranberry Cobbler the recipe? I thought not. It's not a story the Todd would tell you. It's another pastry-free larder.
Oh my god. Having I been reading the recipe wrong all this time? Because that makes actual sense.
I always just assumed they were cutting it like they did with cocaine and baking soda in the 90s.
Really? I know I’ve seen a master list around but forgot where it is.
Good to know honestly! I’m almost done with the Nuka-Cade plans so far and checked each NPC vendor for any as well.
THABK YOU! That’s the list I was referenced to the other day and that guide is so well done. It helped me prepare for my first run this morning and we had a water gun fight as well like others.
Makes me think, there are stuffed bears that are common throughout FO games, so people know what bears were, and they don't seem that different from Yao Guai. I think those stuffed bears would be turned into furry outfits
Iguanas used to exist in the og FO lore. I think Iguana on a stick is still available. That's a classic from FO1

Yao Guai eat a lot of honey. Maybe the mutation makes their meat sugary. Wouldn't be the weirdest thing in the game by a long shot.
There’s a pig from, iirc, Spain that has a different tasting meat because it only eats truffles so I’d say this is pretty plausible
Iberico pork, and it is delicious...
Iberico, and it's actually acorns. Truffle pigs are a different thing, more like porcine drug sniffing dogs.
Yao Guai are diabetic, which explains a lot, actually. Their meat would be slightly sweeter.

Just use enough Sugar to kill a Moose and you'll be able to lift as much as you could ever need. Not for long, but it would work!
I believe you are thinking of another powdered white substance my friend
You ever see someone ricochet off of walls from a Sugar rush? Both work!
Now make some lemonade.
(Artificially flavored)
I made a cranberry cobbler WHICH IS NOT A PIE yesterday for the daily. It only needs a cranberry and (wood) to cook. Pastry just magically appears.
The pastry is the wood which we chomp down on, splinters and all, due to having long gone insane.

Lol I'd prefer wood razorgrain flour has concrete in it
Is there dog in Nuka dogs?
Huh. No, it's Brahmin Meat. Talk about a Double Standard! They made the Hot Dogs realistic but not the Bear Claws! For shame!
Mole rat would probably be more realistic. After all, I doubt many people care about keeping kosher in the wasteland.
Wouldn't it be funny if, in a bizarre Twist, post apocalyptic Hot Dogs are better tasting and better for you than before the bombs!
I hear licorice tastes better after the bombs
. . . wait for real?? I've been baking bear claws WRONG this whole time?? Now I feel silly for fighting so many bears over the years. . .
wow, next thing you're telling me is that iguana bits isn't actually iguana!
Don't go in Doc Morbid's basement.

If it were one of the earlier Fallout games, further ahead in the timeline, I could see some confusion about the recipe.
I like me a meaty pastry tho. Goes well with my meat shake.
Ron Swanson approved.
Dude, we use CONCRETE to make razorgrain flour. What part of "apocalypse" are you not understanding? 😁😁😁
You know, I just assumed we were using blocks of concrete to pulverize the razorgrain like Cavemen.

All these new foods are great but honest question is, is there plans to make them ourselves yet?
You can get them from The Tunnel of Love Event!

YW I printed off the plan list, it's too much to remember
That's the best part
Guess someone’s never had a bacon covered doughnut. /s
well at least they figured out a cobbler isn't a friggn pie so hey... there's hope.

You do in this universe apparently
Well to be fair in ~~some~~ many parts of the world pastries aren't dessert foods, they can be savory. And that means including meat.
Cocaine Bear meat, for that extra powder sprinkle effect?
And actual bear claws in pastry is ok? :)
Love me bear meat pies, love me pints, love me wasteland, simple as.
You might not want to look at the Gulper Stuffed Foot ingredients if you feel this way about the Bear Claw lol. I saw that recipe and nearly gagged.
Bear meat is super sweet.
You think it is bear meat?!?!? *Starts humming "Mrs. Lovett's meat pies".....*
It's literally in the name... smh
