Yes, 100%. They tried to banter. It hasn’t worked out perfectly imo, but come on. This subreddit is becoming so toxic lately. You have to praise every little thing the boys do or get downvoted. Jools wasn’t unkind or something.

Grian doesn’t come across as pleasant as usual. Don’t know if he doesn’t like Jools. His question about why Ireland as rather small country produces that much musical talent wasn’t bad. But Grian’s answer sounds passive-aggressive. Bit of a phoney in this interview.
Grian did seem a little jumped-up, I think part of it is the new style he and the band are rocking, which is cool and all but it does have a large air of them being given a stylist, which to me, kind of adds to any vibe of manufactured anything.
Hate to break it but any band (Murder Capitol included) that are in the music industry are a product of manufacture.
That doesn’t take away music but let know one be fooled these guys know exactly what they are doing and what they signed up for.
