Buckler Sound at Stonecradle was the final stand. It's tapped; this is it. No frontline refinery. It's over. No bmats, no factory usage unless we rely on imports, it's over without that refinery. All we had to do was hold it til the refinery was back up. 2 days? It can't be done. But 2 days passed, and then... It got tapped again, lol. But it's still holding. And it's still holding. And it's still holding. And the collies offensive stops. Then we strike. We pushed back so hard, with everything we had, and took The Moors in all but 3 shards in a mere 60 minutes after The Reach fell. Nature is healing.

Yung_Poopz

lmao i was there all for it, i remembered coming from work i logged on and heard arty raining on bucklers. stonecradle happened to be my favorite spot since i did alot of logi since the war started in stonecradle. we fought on the snowy mountains north of buckler, that fight was massive. personally i couldnt let stonecradle fall so when we started advancing for the next couple of days and held it, it was a big sigh of relief.

DR_Speedster

The valiant defence of Blemish and Mousetrap were definitely my highlights this war.

Paceronikus

Mousetrap literarily felt like Normandy to me. We sent waves after waves but those defenses were holding tight. It had everything in it, massive battles with dozens of tanks, infantry storming trenches and defenses on both sides, small skirmishes where we were trying to hold Ark with the last few shirts and ammo we had left, partisan action... it was amazing. One of the best battles of the war.

Notadude5150

The hold for Blemish was one of the best times I've had. Pushing out of the fort and feeling like we were making progress when I logged out. Just hoping we would have the army come save us. Then coming back and reading the letter from the Warden General and our General.

teriyakiguy

I'm incredible thankful for the wardens to have made a comeback, the war was really stale when the collies were "winning". The amazing effort it took to create the backline fortresses out of mostly decayed bobs was really fun. Concreting was a race against time to delay the inevitable assaults. Made a lot of fun memories rallying up randoms for construction and teach the newbies about the game.

Nicely done most wars once people start invading backlines it is pretty easy to blitz through.

iceberg_theory

standing at the gates of tine in the rain with a stolen colonial luminare and a backpack full of gas grenades.

Phoenix2336

Taking jade cove. Was there all day that day and when the message came up that the colonials had lost the TH that's when I really started to believe in the comeback. I would go as far to say that the WW there was the catalyst.

Strixzora

i was about to stop playing the war when i got a whisper to join an OP, quick in and out (it was the jade cove tap) ,that stuff really reinvigorated me to fight this war to the end

LongWindedLagomorph

Feels like a lifetime ago, but the entire period of besieging Kirknell was a really hilariously fun time. Brutal infantry battles just North of the city in the hills, dashing ourselves against ghouses and safehouses with nothing but mammons, the logi cut and keeping constant guard for soldiers and vehicles trying to sneak through, and eventually the fall. Would love to hear about it from the Warden perspective, it was hard fought on all sides, and a gruesome early meatgrinder.

iceberg_theory

i recall running over partisans (and one or two of my comrades) in a motorbike trying to keep the roads open to kirknell from cal passage. we got a good number of them but we were severely underpopulated. eventually had to leave my watch as things started going bad in linn of mercy.

Rai_Darkblade

Medic in blemish, at one point i had me and two other medics set up behind a house, and there was a constant stream of guys carrying downed players coming around the corner, ambulance full of supplies next to us, just going full triage as artillery rained around us. Fighting within a town or city is so fun and stressful as a medic

FantasticCode3388

Blemish siege was fantastic. SPUD setup 10 arty guns, mixed 120 and 150. Literally all the ammo we had in Jade cove, we probably fired well over 2000 rounds.

Rai_Darkblade

Yea. Warden medic though, there before he encirclement long before we got our arty up and took it, the early pushes into blemish were, rough.

Nelfhithion

Mousetrap, stole 100 30mm shells to the collies with no other vehicles than my foots just by transfering them in crates, still don't know how I managed to do that but god it was fun

Maleficent1313

When the devs hit us with rain/snow/queues/1mn respawn timers, i can't wait to not play next wars, and i encourage all collies to do the same it's the best way to help your faction.

I smell a hint of being a sour loser, and defeatism .... disgusting and perhaps poorly disguised warden propaganda

iisSlime

My favorite was the first battle of the Blemish, Checkpoint Cozy was interesting

I joined pretty late, only a day or two before the cumback started. This plus the fact that because of timezones I missed most of the big stuff means that there isn't anything particularly epic that I was involved in. Instead, my favourite part is actually a particularly slow part. It happened on Saturday in Drowned Vale. I spawned in to the northeast and immediately noticed thet we were down to 20 ish shirts. Asked around and turns out we were completely cut off from supply. For the next hour or so we desperately held our little relic base with almost no supplies against a bunch of equally desperate, equally undersupplied collies. The only stuff we had was either looted or scavenged from other places in the same hex by an absolute gigachad trucker named Roh (I think) of the [CUM] clan. But even with his efforts we were running on fumes. I distinctly remember that at one point we had more argentis than warden rifles and we had no bandages the entire time. There wasn't much to do other than wait for supplies and take potshots at the few collies who poked their heads out. Two people legit got up on a hill and started sharing war stories while watching the enemy base through binoculars. Then, Roh our hero arrived, and he brought 5 satchels and a few mammons. Finally we could actually do something to the enemy base. We had to wait for nightfall though, so another 15 minutes of skirmishing followed. Eventually we managed to loot one bandage from a collie corpse. We loaded it into a medkit and just used one charge at a time to stop people from bleeding. This way, we were able to make that one bandage stretch at least 5 minutes. We were enough of an annoyance apparently to warrant being shelled by artillery, which was probably the most we actually contributed to the war effort by wasting their shells. Just before night fell, Roh returned! This time he brought us bandages and... well I'm not actually sure what else. But we finally had bandages! We all healed up and got ready to charge into the enemy fortifications. We grouped up, and as one, with a mighty call* we charged forwards. There was the roar of gunfire and grenades and... it was a massive faliure. We didn't manage to plant a single satchel. We pretty much just donated a bunch of equipment to the collies. Still though, it was great fun. *(maybe slightly embellished. I remember someone said "for callahan" and I used my macro which is set up to type "die collie scum" into all chat)

michielvd9

I loved once the Jihadjeep (rpg jeep) got unlocked. Just cruising with my Jihadjeep homies through the warden back regions terrorizing the logi, deleting wachtowers, and attacking salvage fields.

Being part of a large patrol that started as a Warden QRF to the Swan, which evolved into a general push for the hex. We ended up liberating the entire hex, save Leto. And just as we were about to push Leto from the East, another call to QRF to the Swan came, as a massive Colonial tank push advanced on Swan from the West, completely cutting of our logi for the hex. We rallied on the Swan, woefully short on AT and shirts, made a desperate stand and were very close to losing, when the Colonial advanced let up a bit, which allowed some logistics to filter in, bringing shirts, BMats and some AT. When the second armoured Colonial push came, we were better prepared and both sides fought tooth and nail for a long time. By the time I logged off, the Swan was saved and we were pushing halfway to Leto again. I went to bed, woke up and we had lost most of the hex again.
