Do you hang dry them or use the dryer? About to buy some, will need to avoid whichever you are doing lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Hmm, I guess I have to be careful with what kind of fabric I buy from them. Their Fleet pants are top notch and the quality was worth the cost imo.

jkya88

I dont think the drying method affects whether or not things tear though.

ieatfrosties

Drying in high heat def affect clothes and their longevity. By relation, it would affect whether they would tear or not

[deleted]

[удалено]

jkya88

This is what I was thinking too. Unless your drying method somewhat actively stresses the seams, I am not understanding how it can make clothes fall apart at the seams? But hey if someone knows better, please let me know.

GandhiMSF

Same exact situation here. I’ve got two pairs of their shorts in my rotation of workout shorts and both started ripping at seams within a year. Meanwhile most of my lululemon shorts and all of my TenThousand shorts have held up great. Definitely better options for good shorts at this price.

robemmy

Similar experience, the banks shorts and rip stop pants have held up really well over a couple of years of hiking, the Sunday joggers seams started to unravel after a month of being PJs

elusive127

Same, they look and feel good but quality is garbage

StGeorgeJustice

I've had great luck with their ripstop joggers, the Transit Joggers.

Temporary_Copy3897

I've had 2 lululemon that I've worn 2-3x every week for exercise since fall 2019 that have held up considerably well and no tears and only thing is that color has been somewhat faded but that can be expected after so many wash cycles and drying. Agree with other comment here in that for the price point lululemon is worth it and holds up stronger than official soccer club team shorts

mgwooley

I haven’t had longevity issues with them tbh

w1nb1g

Lulu lemon is no better tbh

sneakylumpia

Wish they had more options for 5" inseam shorts

TheRoommatesPopTart

And no 3” inseams either, I emailed and they confirmed no plans to produce then

underwriter

my 1.5" inseams have been holding together but I had to take the crotch in a little with my tailor

Bearded-Mamba

Jokes 😂

occupybourbonst

Worth mentioning: the Ponto pants/shorts are very comfortable (they feel soft like pajamas) but they're extremely stretchy, almost too stretchy in my opinion. If you put a phone or keys in the Ponto pants, the fabric can't support the weight on its own and it tends to sag downward which I find a bit annoying. I haven't had this issue with Lululemon ABC joggers / workout shorts. Also, I never work out in the ponto pants, they feel more like loungewear than active wear. My guess/hope is some other Vuori products are better for exercising. They're just too flappy/stretchy IMO. So I'd keep that in mind.

multani14

Yeah that’s why I prefer them as lounging shorts and that’s it. But as someone who works from home I wear them the entire summer that means

Atwotonhooker

I WFH too and love my Vuori pants. Do you recc the joggers, too? I love the Lulu Lemon ABC ones

multani14

Yeah the joggers are sooooo comfy especially the Sunday performance pants

kingsley_zissou_

the sunday pants are more structured than the pontos

Foojira

The most comfortable material but every time I wear I have to consider the dick print

bigcityboy

Feature, not a bug

asteroidtube

Yep, I got some of these at REI last year for wearing to heated yoga classes. I can't wear them because I feel it is inappropriate.

shadowfugitive

Sold! I am getting these for yoga now to advertise!

Foojira

Know the audience you’re actually marketing to, Edit: and I don’t mean yoga

AbusiveTubesock

That’s what I’m saying?? And these dudes out here want the 5 inch inseam…idk about those, whole sausage on full display lol

CoochieSnotSlurper

I wear their sweatpant type bottoms purely for days I wanna go commando on the couch. There is no better option

thebestatheist

Just want to throw out there that the athletic shorts from Target have a pretty similar feel and style to these shorts and theyre only $25. I love the Vuori stuff but god damn it's pricey.

OddaJosh

Also, they’re stocked at REI and you can use the 20-30 percent off coupon they regularly send out for members.

Philly4Sure

Big REI sale starts Friday for members.

Jazzlike_Set6322

Can you elaborate on this Big REI sale? Is it advertised anywhere?

OhScheisse

Here you go. They have a catalog preview of the sale up. They will update the site woth sale prices tomorrow https://www.rei.com/promotions/anniversary-sale

Jazzlike_Set6322

Thanks!

thebestatheist

Ah shit, good looking out!

zerostyle

which shorts at rei?

dakry

What is the brand/name of the shorts from target?

thebestatheist

The ones I have are called All In Motion.

RPtheFP

Picked up some running shorts from them last year. They only had two colors and now don’t seem to offer them anymore. My favorite shorts for everyday use.

thebestatheist

I got both the black and the grey last year, thats a bummer to hear theyre not carrying them anymore.

dertigo

The green is really nice

zerostyle

Aren't those like 9" inseams though?

thebestatheist

I think they’re 7” but could be wrong. They’re definitely longer than the Vuori shorts.

zerostyle

Hmmm trying to find something around 8”

sammywhammy1

Link?

exclus23

What inseam options do they have? Do they fit similar to the banks shorts?

Simco_

Got the Ponto Performance Pants at $40 6~ months ago. Really love them. Much better fit than Outdoor Voices, for me.

chea_buddy

What’s the comparable OV product. I love the rek trek pants, also have high stride.

Simco_

Cloudknit slim.

chea_buddy

Not a cloud knit fan personally, too much static.

Username4133

Anyone find an additional discount code that works? The new sign up 20% off excludes sale items, for example the sunday joggers are $78 on sale in weird colors or $98-19 = $79 in normal colors.

spitz1674

Noticed this too, was gonna pull the trigger on some ponto shorts finally and realized the color I wanted wasn’t much more just using a new email so I got those instead. Great deal if you like the colors though!

multani14

Huge vuori men’s sales drop!! I check twice a day for months to get sales like these. I bought a jacket, shorts, the hat, and a workout tee. By far my favorite clothing brand for workout and comfy clothes. This is an insane sales drop. Feel free to ask for thoughts on different items I own like their entire catalogue lol.

multani14

For shorts by far it’s the ponto performance shorts. For pants it’s the Sunday performance pants or balboa pants.

GoChaca

currently wearing the Sunday performance pants. I love them

goddamn_shitthebed

Ponto shorts are awesome. Wear them to bed they are so comfy.

triplec787

Literally wearing pontos right now. Highly highly recommend.

HappyPLUR

Looking for a good pair of jogging/leisure shorts and a Henley. Any suggestions? Also - what do they do the BEST?

multani14

Their shorts and pants are their specialty. People really like their jackets but I only just ordered my first one so I can’t speak to that. Not sure about the Henley, there’s probably other companies like Buck Mason that do that better. For exercise shorts I recommend banks, kore, and draft (I prefer banks above all but I like them all too). For lounging I loooooove my ponto shorts, but Sunday performance is also super nice. Vital is comfy but kind of baggy so nice for around the house but I feel like a bum wearing them out lol Edit: meant to say VITAL is comfy but baggy. Ponto remains my most comfortable shorts in the world.

HappyPLUR

Glad you said "feel like a bum wearing baggy shorts out" because for thr longest time I thought i was odd for feeling too dressed down to go to the grocery in a pair of sweats or too baggy of a short 😅 Thank you for the recognition 👏

RockerElvis

Ponto Performance Crew is phenomenal. The Coronado Hoodie is the best hoodie I have ever worn. Tradewinds shirts for exercise, Strato tech for travel (long sleeve is great too). Others have commented on the shorts/pants, it’s really all about preference. With that said, the Ponto shorts or pants are unbelievably soft.

hellochase

the lined shorts are the best liners I’ve worn, both for active and leisure. ponto, performance, and balboa pants are excellent. I prefer their less tech materials for general wear but the tech fabrics are great for yoga or hiking

Deatholder

Did you see any ponto shorts when you bought? Just wanted to know which ones were on sale.

multani14

Yeah there’s definitely a few ponto shorts on sale I highly recommend them.

tin369

Have you or anyone tried the kohls flx line. It is supposedly the exact dupe of lulu

rspunched

How do the tees fit? How’s the length?

multani14

Pretty standard. I’m 6”1 185lbs I wear a large

blaza192

Funny they didn't notify me by e-mail about the sale. That's kinda annoying but I'm happy to stumble across them.

[deleted]

You should check out https://highcountryoutfitters.com/ They sometimes have huge markdowns on Vuori products.

Twistedcrypto

Thanks. Picked up some shirts, shorts and my favorite jacket in a new color way. its so comfortable and one of the best deals currently. https://vuoriclothing.com/products/sunday-element-jacket-black-heather

multani14

Nice I just got the black one too! How do you like the jacket? I’m really excited to wear it.

Twistedcrypto

It’s more of a sweater than a jacket but it’s very comfortable and has a designer look. You’ll love it. I paid full price for a blue one and was waiting for a sale on these.

theidealbt

If anyone is in the Evansville, Indiana area, there is a store called DOTs that has a bunch of Vuori shorts, shirts and a jacket for $5 each. Mostly S-L sizes in grey and pink on shorts, Shirts are all grey and black and jackets are grey, khaki, and camo. I think I personally bought most of the XLs they had. I have purchased quite a few pairs of the Kore lined short. I sleep in them nightly and they are without a doubt the most comfortable shorts I've ever worn. Their clothes generally run small.

forealzdough

Kore shorts are great. Cotton shirts are very meh

multani14

Yep their shirts are fine but their shorts and pants are really their specialty.

spreadwater

any jogger recommendations?

sneakylumpia

I really want to like their joggers but their fabric is so thin that it's guaranteed that your bulge will show. Don't get me wrong, the fabric is buttery smooth and feels high quality. I just wish there's more form and weight into it

bigcityboy

I’ve just accepted that as my reality when I wear these out

live_on_purpose_

You've also accepted that reality for everyone you encounter. lol

bigcityboy

Hey. My eyes are up here 👆🏼

multani14

Sunday performance if they have. Those are my favorites. Balboa are amazing too but they’re thicker and better for winter. People love their ponto performance joggers but I prefer that material for shorts.

Farore35

I absolutely love the meta joggers. Have a few pairs. I don’t love the others. Too thin. I also don’t like the often hyped ABC lululemon joggers. Too staticky

[deleted]

Similarly priced to lululemon, how do they compare? Sale items able to be returned?

cliff_huck

Depends on the item. I have tried just about every workout short from every athliesure brand, and Lulu Pacemaker are tops with nothing close. People love the Vuori Kore, but I really dislike them (waistband, liner, material are all sub par IMO). Vuori Sunday Performance joggers are my favorite joggers for every day, WFH, running errands, etc. Definitely my most comfortable. Still prefer Lulu Surge joggers for travel since they feel a bit sturdier and "dressed up." Vuori ripstop pants are good for fall weekends watching the kids play sports. Good, comfortable alternative to denim. They got some stretch, but they are cut pretty slim.

[deleted]

Ok nice, I am going to try out the Sunday performance jogger, sounds like what I am looking for

QuantumWalkInThePark

I've never had an issue returning sale items.

multani14

Not sure if they’re returnable. I vastly prefer these to lululemon in most regards but it depends on the product.

hawk5656

Bro, you better be getting paid based on the amount of attention you are giving this thread. I'm suspecting this is paid marketing.

multani14

Lmao

[deleted]

Ok well, my wallet now hates you… thanks

Mint_Perspective

Vuori is way too expensive for what you get. For some reason I really wanted something from them a couple weeks ago, but after trying on most of their stuff, I completely decided against it. The fits are little weird too.

[deleted]

I agree about the fits being weird. I have a t-shirt and the sleeves are a bit long, a little loose and the chest seems tight. it's a nice shirt but the dimensions just seem a little bit off

[deleted]

[удалено]

RyVsWorld

Rhone lulu 10 thousands

Mint_Perspective

I absolutely love the way Travis Mathew’s shirts are cut (I’m slightly athletic). You just have to try one on and see if the fit works for you. For me, TM shirts fit perfectly. For American classic casual, Buck Mason has figured out how to cut the perfect tee - lies on the shoulders flawlessly (smooth yoke), slightly hugs chest and gives plenty of room for movement everywhere else. Chinos - Perk Chinos. Yes I know, they’re heavily marketed on IG, but I purchased a pair and went back for two more (should’ve done the 3 for $180). Perk chinos are also perfectly cut - waist and butt are spot on, leg openings are not too tight or loose, fabrics feel extremely high quality, allows for great movement etc. Athletic shorts - Vans. Vans make great shorts that are more affordable than say, LuLu. The materials are top notch and the fits are super comfortable. Just picked up these in black and green on sale - https://www.vans.com/en-us/clothing-c00082/range-relaxed-sport-18-short-pvn0005zyrl6?utm_id=go_cmp-19616905186_adg-_ad-__dev-m_ext-_prd-196571671876_mca-8181713_sig-Cj0KCQjwmZejBhC_ARIsAGhCqncmvgGmtgpymc-QbxbnVPXoehDvlIxXXvFbzKB34NNCgQErbDzCn5EaAvzVEALw_wcB&utm_source=google&radscid=19616905186&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmZejBhC_ARIsAGhCqncmvgGmtgpymc-QbxbnVPXoehDvlIxXXvFbzKB34NNCgQErbDzCn5EaAvzVEALw_wcB The model doesn’t do them justice, they are great shorts. Deep pockets, plush materials, and superb fit. Edit: I should say that Buck Mason is not cheap. However the 3 for $180 on Perk chinos is a great deal.

areyouahollygram

Thanks, picked up a few of the bridge button downs. Any thoughts on those?

multani14

Nope I usually get my button downs from bonobos. Let me know what you think of them!

areyouahollygram

Will do! Couldn’t pass up on the $30 short sleeve ones

DeathdropsForDinner

Big fan of Vuori. Got two pairs of their Kore shorts during 2020 and wear them religiously to gym or run. Still in fantastic condition after a lot of washes. I had over $200 worth of things in my cart. Had to take a deep breath and got it down to $50 lol

multani14

Lol I went from $450 to $180 and considered it self control haha

ordinaryturdnberry

Random question because I've never been able to wrap my head around it - for people who wear shorts with liners to the gym like yourself - do you wash these after every single wear? If you go to the gym ~4 times a week are you washing your shorts every day or wearing 4 different pairs of shorts a week?

DeathdropsForDinner

I wash my shorts at the end of the week and I gym about 5 times. I wear one pair specifically for running and another for lifting.

LazyNotDumb

I've avoided running shorts with liners because I imagine the experience of basically wearing two pairs of underwear while running is uncomfortable. Is the liner annoying or am I just being silly?

Jazzlike_Set6322

If you're wearing running shorts with liners, you supposed to go commando. Wearing an additional pair of underwear with the shorts defeats the purpose

LazyNotDumb

Yeah but the guy I replied to said he wears his shorts several times a week and if ur not wearing anything else that's basically like wearing underwear twice and that's gross for me

Jazzlike_Set6322

That's why I have several pairs of running shorts with liners and rotate them. I couldn't wear the same pair again after sweating heavily in them

AbusiveTubesock

Liners are indeed annoying unless you have some compression liner in lieu of the brief. I’ve never been able to comfortably wear brief styled liners.

SuspiciousToast20

Have you ever seen their 9" inseam Kore shorts on here? I've seen a few of these sales and not once saw them. They apparently do not like discounting that inseam.

multani14

I don’t think I have. I prefer their 7.5” seams anyways though.

greenlutrinae

Are the ripstop pants really slim in the crotch area? They kinda look like it in the photos.

RockerElvis

I don’t love their ripstop pants. They fit very differently from other items.

iteachband

Nope, they have a gusset and feel great to me.

multani14

Yeah they’re a little slim. Tbh I only have one pair and never really wear them. They’re not as comfy as the ponto, vital, Sunday performance. Not as athletic as kore, banks or draft, and not as stylish as optimist. They’re good for hiking/climbing though.

cliff_huck

Crotch is not an issue. It has a gusset, and they are not low rise. However, they are cut very slim through the thigh. They have some stretch and relax with wear, but always require a deep squat when fresh out the wash.

SecondHandWatch

These are very slim in the leg, which I love, but they are not too tight in the crotch. They do have a gusseted crotch, which can mean that the crotch seam sorta bulges, depending on your body shape/position and how you wear them.

QuattroOne

So I’m a big LuLu fan for pants (mainly ABC) and their essential shirt. I’ve been eyeing Vuori but haven’t been able to make the trek to a store. Can anyone share their thoughts between the two? This sale makes a blind buy worth it

giantshuskies

Any recommendations for pants for planes and around the house? I have the Western Rise joggers and whilst stretchy they don't breath at all meaning that I don't enjoy them much when on planes or around the house in summers.

mg521

Sunday performance are elite plane pants

time_fo_that

I've got two pairs of the Ponto pants and they're incredibly comfortable, just hard to get on because they're so stretchy 😂

Jazzlike_Set6322

Sale over? Looks like they pulled the discounted items that were added yesterday from their website. Sale section looks like it did prior to yesterday. Thanks OP for bringing attention to the sale. Picked up a bunch of items that apparently got shipped earlier today.

CarbsDealer

friends don't let friends pay full price: vuori.com/buildingpickleball (20% discount applied at checkout)

spacemanvt

I have been watching their sales page for awhile nothing special in this one. pass. also the prices arent even much marked down.

Structure-These

if its good enough for livvy dune its good enough for me

[deleted]

Worth every penny. Kore shorts are great with a super comfy liner that holds everything. Ponto performance joggers are the softest pants I own. I only wear them around the house because they show a little peen. Sunday performance jogger is perfect for around the house or outdoor.

[deleted]

I feel like these are clothes for people named Justin

realhotwc

Heads up the Kore Shorts have a liner which is a no go for me

PurpleAlcoholic

They do have some unlined Kore shorts

Competitive_Gas9706

How are their branded t shirts?

multani14

Nothing special. They’re fine but just turn you into a walking advertisement. I have some discrete black ones from them I like though.

Competitive_Gas9706

Worth the 20 bucks? I love the shorts and I’m looking for some t shirts for summer, just want them to be comfortable don’t really care about the branding haha

multani14

They’re a little warm tbh I don’t love them for hot days. They’re decent quality for $20 though.

Wombot3

Thanks for the heads up , got the ripstop jacket and ace polo !

anksla007

How is the sizing on the ripstop jacket? The reviews seem to indicate sleeves are too long, but overall sizing seems all over the place.

Wombot3

Not sure yet but I wear a medium in Vuori stuff . 6’ 165 lbs .

mixtape82

I fucking love vuori

atboz

great timing here, I was in need of several new workout outfits

WideRight43

I like to rub plastic all over my body.

Gopokes34

Maybe the world will pass me by but I don't think I will ever be able to justify paying prices like this for synthetic clothing.

cu1ster

Best shirts for working out?

multani14

Any of the tech ones are nice and moisture wicking. Nothing really special but they’re all decent. I just bought a pair of current tech tee and I have a bunch of linear tech tees.

RockerElvis

Tradewinds. Excellent moisture wicking. They are true to size so if you want really fitted then size down one.

Broad-Balance-8707

>https://vuoriclothing.com/products/sunday-element-jacket-black-heather love the strato tee

the_cramdown

Did you link the wrong clothing item?

momopoo54

oh yeah, my bad

live_on_purpose_

Seems that way. The Strato Tech tees are great there.

Disastrous_Answer905

Any work pants recs? Casual khaki type?

multani14

They’re chinos are good but at that point I’d go bonobos or lululemon.

Berzerkly

Hi OP - have you seen any sales for women or know if they come up regularly?

multani14

Yeah the women’s section typically has much better sales than the men’s section. I’ve bought clothes for my girlfriend, sister, etc from there for their birthdays.

Berzerkly

Thank you! I see some stuff on sale now, but I'm guessing it's not a big once-in-a-while type sale like the one you've posted for the men, right?

multani14

I’m not too sure tbh, I check the men’s section for sales twice a day but the women’s like once every 3 months.

bigcityboy

Thanks. I love their shorts and pants

Thirst_Trappist

Nice. Finally get to try these out

maleslp

Looks like Kore are 2-in-1s (spandex liner). Does anyone know about pockets on these? I was thinking about getting these for running, but need at least 1 zip pocket and, ideally, a pocket built in to the liner.

multani14

I wear them to run and put my keys in one pocket and phone in the other

maleslp

Thanks! I may be able to use them. I can only go on longer runs if there's a skin tight pocket. Otherwise it chafes and bruises me. I could probably use these on shorter runs though. I don't mind shelling out for more expensive shorts as I run a lot, and it's worth the investment. Might give these a shot.

Jazzlike_Set6322

Traditional Kore short - back pocket is off to the side and secured by a small patch of velcro, so I have concerns about items bouncing out Elevate Kore short - has zippered pockets and a more premium feeling fabric, but is more pricey Trail short - has comfy liner and zippered back pocket, but pocket is off to the side. Still, one of my favorites for running Course run - zippered pocket in the middle of the lower back, but didn't feel it fit me well Good luck!

maleslp

Thanks! I picked up one Kore and Trail short each. We'll see!

multani14

Not too sure. I’m 6”1 185lbs and I wear mediums or 32 for all their bottoms

torontowest91

Not Canada?

Twilos

Can you return sale items?

ChiefAdino

Love the clothes, hate the website. Vuori's sale page has never been able to sort by size and always keeps products on the page even if it's sold out.

Nobbinhood0

Is there another sale later on this year? I rarely see them have a sale.

Nobbinhood0

Also how are the meta joggers?

Jazzlike_Set6322

Sales are uncommon and unpredictable, but the meta joggers are among the more popular joggers that Vuori sells. They are more structured than the Ponto or Sunday performance joggers, so I believe people like them for their increased versatility. Personally, I like my Sunday performance joggers the best among those 3 as the fabric is softer than Meta and the Meta leg cuff is larger, which I don't like as much. Ponto is good for lounging around the house, but is too unstructured to wear outside the house IMO.

Maadvillain

Dropped by REI today for the anni sale and saw this brand on sale. May be worth checking out

NickNoHeart

Good for when you want to dress like you ALMOST went surfing today

hackerman225

Kore shorts are bad quality

ghostbarn

I’m lo
