yeeeeeeeeewwww

I was on a low dose of T gel to start off with so my changes were a bit more gradual but one month in I was already experiencing small increases in body and facial hair and my voice began to drop. Now i’m on a waaaay higher dosage and it’s been all the same changes but kinda just happening faster and more consistently if that makes sense. As far as your second question, I can’t really say because I’ve never done the injections. For applying the gel though, I always just squeeze it out the packet it comes in, into the palm of my hand and then rub it into my shoulder/back/upper arms!

so glad to hear the gel is going well!!!

Started off with injections and am also allergic to both oils. The gel I was able to do after my last shot. And I’ve just put it on my hand no problem just wash it after!

darkestkknife

so then just for clarification, i dont need to wait until this upcoming wednesday 4/26?

Personally I was told by my nurse that it would be fine to do the day after that last shot.

thanks so much!

1) Mine were very sudden personally. I experienced no voice cracks but my voice consistently passed by 3 months on 25mg of gel. My voice was mostly all that held me back so since my legal name change around the same time I’ve been stealth. 2) I would wait a full week after the shot to apply gel but tbh that question is likely best answered by your T provider. 3) I have always used my hands to apply to my shoulders and just wash my hands before and after application. No issues yet in a year and a half. Good luck man!

lol too late to wait but oh well, it should be fine

Timeline is the same as injections assuming your levels are the same. I’d wait until it’s been a week, yeah. It’s personal preference, doesn’t matter. I use my wrist so I don’t have to wash as much gel off my hands, also feel like i get less stressed about touching things with gel on my hands.

Also, if you do want to go back to injections there is a different carrier oil you could try if you haven’t already
