Silly people don't realize you can have just as functional of a camper in the back of a standard issue Ford Van AND have a much better road trip experience that way

Maybe in relation to the averages. Much like a rabbit-sized rat would be big but a rabbit-sized dog would be tiny.
I guess it helps that when you're in a parked motorhome, the outside environment generally isn't going go be a stroad and you won't feel so boxed-in.
For 1.25M you could just get hotels every where you wanted to go and would probably spend less and have a better time
You could be driving a very nice car around and staying in nice hotels for years for that money.
