How do you do the monitoring with the phone?

I wrote an app for AIDA64. Its a windows service that uses SignalR to pass the data to a Xamarin android app. https://github.com/Sl0thie/Aida64Display

Good start. Now just add some finger holes to the panel so that you can get your phone out again. 😀

The two black pieces holding the top of the phone can be pushed in. Its on a hinge inside that has a rubber band to provide a downward force to hold the phone in. If I was to do it again I would also have another piece on the hinge that pushed the phone out when the front ones are pushed in.

Looks cool but also looks like it'll be annoying to get the phone out again, also there's no way i wouldn't shove my finger into the fan at least 2 times out of every 5 if i had this lol

Can you elaborate? Im assuming this is a spare phone that is a permanent fixture? Can we get some more photos? This is absolutely awesome BTW

No sadly that my current phone. I do have another old phone in front of my keyboard that provides similar functionality that is there permanently. Its in a 3D printed holder that is currently under development. I am trying to use the camera on the front to pass image data back to the PC so I can use facial detection. So if I walk away from my PC, it will pause any games I am playing as well as whatever media is playing as well. But its far from finished. The CAD and STL files should be in the above GitHub under CAD Files.

Wouldn't it just be better to run the app off a pi instead of a phone?

I don't own a pi. I also don't have a screen for a pi and I don't know how to program a pi. But this print is how I charge my phone. I don't have a clue how to charge a phone from a pi. Is that possible?
