It's a youth group in Ireland that created this.
The support worker that did this with them mentioned that they do this quite regularly, however, they decided to share this one with the world because this one was done really well. They did not anticipate it to take off as well as it did though. The entire music video was recorded in one day too.
It was released on the 15th of May 2024 and with no intentions to make money off it. However, they explained that if they do make money from it, it will all be going into the youth centre/facilities for the kids.

Great idea! I will add it to the first comment now.
I posted the original to a mate of mine.

This will be the new song kids around the world make their own lip sync videos too though.
As a 90’s kid whose shorts needed to be well below his knees. I never thought id see young men wearing short shorts by choice again like it’s the 70’s but here we are in 2024 and they are back.
At least we were consistent. Baggy shorts, baggy pants, baggy everything. These kids can't make up their minds between parachute pants and booty shorts.
Oh my god, right??? I'm an older millenial and my husband and I went to a bar a few weekends ago , and some EDM concert nearby let out. All of a sudden we're surrounded by 100 19-25 year olds in bucket hats and fuzzy vests. I looked at my husband and asked "when the fuck did bucket hats come back?".
Well a lot of people view Fanny packs the same way you view bucket hats. That’s kinda my whole point ravers don’t care about what’s in “style”. We wear what we want and have fun doing it.
When I was in third grade we had group presentations about country's of the world. My group was Belgium. This was being video taped so parents would be able to get a copy. I sat in the back by the camera and tried to quietly sneak out a fart. In the room, only my friend heard it, but the camera's mic picked it up. DVDs made for the families featured my wet squeaker during the Japanese tea ceremony.
> DVDs made for the families featured my wet squeaker during the Japanese tea ceremony.
Thank you *so* much for putting that sentence into my day. It's a gem.
For some donkey reason I always used to mix this in with 3 Blind Mice like "Hot Cross Buns, see how they run" and the music teacher was like "You stupid paki, play it properly" before hitting me with his wooden metre long ruler.
Ah, the joys of being the only non-white student in a large comprehensive. Good time, good times.
The kids these days are on a totally different level.
I think you might might be impressed by GurinelTv from Moldova on YouTube. So many kids there with tonnes of swagger and moves.
https://youtu.be/GIXbbLW0M8E
Also, checkout Sabrina Lonis's channel from France for kids with amazing choreography and moves.

I hope some of them become famous when they're older and this video keeps popping up in "Before they were famous" type posts. Especially the girl in the "I am the future." shirt.

The beat seems inspired by a Becky Hill x Chase and Status track, [Disconnect](https://youtu.be/bE3Kvqyef_E?si=b40Fgz94H4321irf).
But that flow is all them!
I was thinking DJ Fresh - Gold Dust: https://youtu.be/RNuUgbUzM8U?si=ZFgYqdRc2bZfSjYm
Disconnect is a closer match though, I'm surprised I never made that connection before!
As someone who worked with young Irish bands for years, they almost always sang British or American accents. It's great to see with these kids, and the new wave of Irish acts , how confident they are in their own voices.
Since you're probably looking for the YT link: [(204) Cruinniú na nÓg 2024 | The Spark Music Video - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgtL1pWdbYA)
OK confession time: before I heard the accents I was like "ugh, some privileged LA kids getting a 15-year head start in the entertainment industry." Not that I begrudge such kids the experience... but it hits differently like this.
It's made by the kabin studio. A youth organisation in Cork, Ireland. A space for kids to learn instruments and practice music and be mentored for free
The Canadian and Irish accents do seem to have some similarities though. Doesn't the Canadian Maritime region have significant Irish influence?
In the first few seconds of the song my first thought was Canadian as well, until the word "spark" anyway.
Dnb head and I unironically loved this so I took a stab at the lyrics. I am not Irish but I have seen every episode of Derry Girls
_Chorus_
Think you can stop what we do? I doubt it.
We got the energy. We'll tell you all about it.
I searched for my spark and I found it.
Everybody in the crowd start bouncing
Making bangers at a young age
My pen setting fire to the page
Imma show you how to rock that stage
Listen to this in this car - youll be getting road rage
Listen up cause what we do every day is decent
Kabin Crew can't stop, on top of every playlist
If we see a dream you know we're gonna chase it
So get over any fear you have just face it
That's my passion and I couldn't live without it
You could do it like we do it - dont doubt it
Any obstacle? We find our way around it
If you're proud of who you are and what you do? Shout it

This is great, always awesome to see kids having fun and learning some industry skills.
Not to take any shine away but this reminds me of Hot Cheetos and Takis… which I totally expected.
Hot Cheetos and Takis is a certified banger too: https://youtube.com/watch?v=3qTYO7idTDc&feature=shared

Good thing OP ripped it to reupload to reddit, so they gain nothing from this post except "exposure".
Great idea! I will add it to the first comment now. I posted the original to a mate of mine. EDIT: Here you go - https://youtu.be/njE3EknkkBY?feature=shared
There are some other decent songs on there too. Thanks for that.
That is so cool and they have good intent on how to use the money.
It's a solid banger.
My 6yo was behind me watching something else Then heard this and said I kinda like it.
This is 100% going to get sampled and remixed into professional DJs' songs and become actual club bangers.
My friend is a producer he is already working on a remix/mix in version
My 80-year-old grandma was knitting behind me and bobbing her head to the catchy beat.
Can I send her some Andy C?
It's an absolute banger too. Hope the kids had a blast making it.
***YOU'VE GOT THE ENERGY*** ***TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT***
Up Cork ❤️
Farmside!
is a legit banger haha the producer must be a king
what else are they hiding from us?! release the vault!

Soooooo many bucket hats
Both my 7 and 12 year old love bucket hats, it’s a thing again.
No way! Never thought I’d see them again.
Ever since I can remember, my dad has been telling me "Everything comes full circle" and now that I'm 43 I'm starting to see it lolol
I’m just glad wide leg pants are back again. It was nearly impossible to find a pair that wasn’t skinny for like the last 5 years.
Fashion works on a 30 year cycle. JNCO jeans are coming back in fashion baby
Your dad's right, for example the nazis are pretty trendy these days again.
They've been huge in the edm/festival scene for a while, especially out in the UK. Good for hat pins.
[удалено]
I’m 35 and proudly wear a bucket hat still
Bucket heads represent!
I've always wanted one. It's at the top of my bucket list.
Went to a rave where the theme was Bratz and man … I don’t think a single person there didn’t have one
To me, they never went anywhere 😏
I feel like everything is a thing again, especially with kids and teens. They wear whatever the fuck they want and it's awesome.
Things don’t go out of style in the rave world. Bucket hats, Fanny packs, leg warmers are all very common to see at raves and festivals.
Ravers ain't wearing fanny packs for the style factor.. maybe you are, but I think you missed the memo on their real purpose.
Great place to safely store valuables such as a phone or wallet. Especially when you’re barely wearing anything and don’t have pockets
And also drugs. Lots and lots of drugs.
or maybe some munchies as well. (saw a woman pulled out a zipped locked bacon)
Dont sleep on spaghetti in a bag
I mean, I wear a fanny pack every day. But bucket hats???
Well a lot of people view Fanny packs the same way you view bucket hats. That’s kinda my whole point ravers don’t care about what’s in “style”. We wear what we want and have fun doing it.
It's the culture g
Don't ya men "BOOKET ats"?
Rave/festival staples
2016 schoolboy Q sends his regards
Yeah, I was wondering if Q ever stopped wearing bucket hats
Way to flex Ireland. In my school they made us pay for the recorders in primary school.
My mom was a professional singer and my dad was a somewhat famous musician who quit to support us and we made a rainforest album in 3rd grade.
It's a gem.
That’s pretty cool
Very cool. My class did a rain forest song in 3rd grade. It was awesome.
Let me hear "Hot, Cross, Buns".
Good time, good times.
i had a super racist calculus teacher in high school. i feel your (literal) pain lol.
> Let me hear "Hot, Cross, Buns". B A G B A G BBBB AAAA BAG
Definitely a banger but I gotta say the swag, confidence, and cinematography are impressive as hell too
The kids these days are on a totally different level. I think you might might be impressed by GurinelTv from Moldova on YouTube. The confidence while performing is amazing. Most kids would be an awkward mess in front of a camera
I think it’s fucking awesome.
Kidz Bop has gotten wild...
A Kidz Bop Original "They're making originals now?!"
Kidz bop wishes it could make music like this
Couldn’t tell you a single kids bop song but this shit rocks
Kids bop is literally just covers of hit songs... so you probably do know plenty
This is certified banger
[удалено]
Yea and not one kid playing a recorder. That was the extent of our music lessons in the 80s.
Gen Alpha coming in hot. This video will go down in the history books.
I hope some of them become famous when they're older and this video keeps popping up in "Before they were famous" type posts. Especially the girl in the "I am the future." shirt.

"Comments are turned off." Probably a smart move.
If it’s a channel marked as ‘for kids’ then comments are turned off by default.
Like he said. Smart move.
The YT version sounds so much better than the uploaded video in this thread.
I need this on Spotify though
I can't see Lisdoonvarna and not think of Christy Moore.
why does this actually kind of go hard though
The beat seems inspired by a Becky Hill x Chase and Status track, [Disconnect](https://youtu.be/bE3Kvqyef_E?si=b40Fgz94H4321irf). But that flow is all them!
I'm afraid that's not it. It's based on [Dancing with the Devil](https://youtu.be/vNy1OeMlwlQ?si=rUCwVZ8SJxj9l_xE) from Fats X Milson
Looks like they both got the beat from this guy. At least the kids gave him credit. https://youtu.be/9bKWVKD5qiE?si=vrUW6x0PhX1LvF3v
Oh there it is! So it was a free sample beat PapaPedro made.
It's really well mixed and mastered tho
So Chase and Status like how it was mentioned before.
Disconnect came well before papapedro's titan tune.
maybe so, but the beat in the kid's song *is* the PapaPedro one.
I was thinking DJ Fresh - Gold Dust: https://youtu.be/RNuUgbUzM8U?si=ZFgYqdRc2bZfSjYm Disconnect is a closer match though, I'm surprised I never made that connection before!
I was going to say the same thing, definitely what came to mind for me. Great tune, brings back many memories.
Idk i think gold dust is closer with the vocal melody Either way gave me the ear bug, had to listen to the whole track.
Good ear mate!
haha thanks!
I ain't gonna lie to youuuuuuu
that beat is sick
Drum and bass slaps
The accent is incredible for this
As someone who worked with young Irish bands for years, they almost always sang British or American accents. It's great to see with these kids, and the new wave of Irish acts , how confident they are in their own voices.
Its fukin lit
Bro, we’ll be hearing this at lost lands, edc, electric forest, etc etc for the next year. Can’t wait for the Djs to start sampling it haha
These kids have more swagger than I ever did at that age. I was still trying to figure out how to tie my shoes, and they're out here dropping bars!
bro they got the energy and they'll tell you all about it
If there's an obstacle, they'll find a way around it.
And if that's the thing that you're about #THEN SHOUT IT
Will anyone remember this? I doubt it.
> they're out here dropping bars! On that note, I'm also picturing them in bars and nightclubs lol. They're drinking from little juiceboxes.
Drake rubbing his hands while calling their manager.
“Yo, mind if I sample?” “Sure but don’t take the whole thing.”
"Oh, I meant the girls."
"Me too."
Holy shit I am losing it 🤣
I should have seen this coming, but I didn't. Well played.
That's a music teacher who's fuckin sick of playing frere Jacques on piano
This on Spotify??
Since you're probably looking for the YT link: [(204) Cruinniú na nÓg 2024 | The Spark Music Video - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgtL1pWdbYA)
Why do I feel that if these were North American accents I would hate this?
Trust me I felt the same way coming from England. The fact it’s a cool Irish accent just makes it for me.
That makes this even better!

I wanted to post this yesterday. Opened r/music, realized that it's all news, and thought, 'ok.. nevermind then......'
Gotta admit, this is way better than Kidz Bop.
For a second i heard "making bangers at a young age, Mike Pence setting fire to the page" and I thought it was weirdly political.
What was the actual lyric? That’s all I can hear for some reason.
My pen settin fire to the page.
I wish they would have filmed this in an abandoned mall. Otherwise 10/10. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
We call them shopping centres here, mister
All aboot it. Tell me.
Nah that’s Canuckian, this is abowwwwwt it
The Canadian and Irish accents do seem to have some similarities though. Doesn't the Canadian Maritime region have significant Irish influence? In the first few seconds of the song my first thought was Canadian as well, until the word "spark" anyway.

This made me smile, what an awsome experience it must have been for the kids.

An awful lot of craic for these young folks.
Genuinely catchy.
Ireland!
"Makin' bangers at a young age, Mike Pence settin' fire to the page" Once you hear it you can't unhear it.

Wow. I think it will be funny fail video. I was so wrong. Its better than some adult instagram/youtubers musicians wannabe. A lot.

Serious Robin Sparkles vibes.
