Ah I see. That's probably even more true lately. Recently there's been a large influx of a much younger userbase than before. I'm a sophomore in college, I still have some friends in high school, and recently I found out that this site has become popular there. Even with freshmen and sophomores. I'm interested in how you found this site. The fact you're older than most redditors and the fact you've been here for 5 years makes me think you started back when a large portion of this site was orientated towards programmers, and that you're a programmer yourself. However looking though your post history makes you look like a Nokia shill. Or someone who just really, really likes every detail of a forgotten mobile company.

yeah, I have no connection to Nokia, other than being a customer (an N8 is my main cell phone), and a longtime fan of the Symbian OS. I still prefer it to iOS or (almost all implementations of) Android, as I don't have to root/jailbreak my handset to use it how I want. Now that they are a Windows shop, I don't know what I'll do for my next handset. but I digress... As for how I found this site, I don't recall. I know I used Digg before reddit, and at some point I started up with reddit, and it eventually supplanted Digg. I'm not a programmer, not by trade, though it's not completely foreign to my job either. I work in IT, that much is true.
