When I was a kid and we took the ferry to Vancouver I used to love it when we were on one of the Queen of --- ferries that had a really small front area where the wind would be CRAZY. I used to LOVE going up there, and the wind would be so hard it would push me to the wall, and it was hard to move in it. I have tried as an adult and sadly, I am now more powerful than ferry wind.....

I used to take the *Princess of Acadia* across to Nova Scotia every summer. The wind at the bow was so strong you could lean into it and it would hold you up. Also sadly disappointed as an adult 😔

You're thinking of the Clipper or the Washington State Ferry System, my friend. WSF has a run between Sidney BC and Anacortes WA. The Clipper runs downtown to downtown Seattle and Victoria.

There’s also the Black Ball Ferry line running the Coho between the inner harbour and Port Angeles.
