My dad could easily be a furry and I would never know. If he does know what a furry is and that I am one he would probably be one… but then I need to ask myself if he shows a bunch signs of being a furry already how do I know he’s not one? 🤔
If he shows a bunch of signs of being a furry, let's say there's a 50% chance of him being a furry. And if he *is* a furry then he almost certainly knows you are too, we'll say 90% chance.
By this flawless logic [there's a 45% chance your dad knows you're a furry](https://i.imgur.com/wG1mZHg.jpg)
My dad totally could be a furry. I know he knows what furries are, as well as what ERP is (I think he was watching a video about Space Station 13, which is a game that apparently has a big furry ERP scene). Plus he's almost as much of a denizen of the internet as I am, as I get most of my personality as well as all of my mental illnesses (depression, ADHD, autism, etc.) from him. Except he's been on it a lot longer since he's 50-ish at this point. Either way, it really wouldn't at all surprise me if he was.
My dad's been on the internet since the 1990s, and he's previously said that he'd want to be a bear living in the wilderness if the technology ever were to be developed....
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
When looking through old stuff of my mums we found my mom old wolf ears from high school, also found a photo of my mom in high school, I would have been friends with my mum if I'd gone to school at the same time as her, she would 1000 % be in my friend groups and that, that scares me.
I don't think anyone from my family could be a furry (except my sis but I don't wan't that because I would probably loose interest in this fandom). Maybe, Just maybe... my uncle/s. Idk, they both are really online and I feel like they could be intrested in it. I don't know much tho so I could be wrong. But it would be cool.
Def not my parents cause they found out about me somehow (probably my sister who also disapproved) and told me "at least 99% of the furry community are sexual predators, but we know you aren't like that cause you are ace, and you shouldn't be using that label anyway" I ended up crying in my room for at least an hour
Super common on Tumblr. In fact it's actively encouraged as much like on YouTube a single account can have multiple "blogs" attached to it. There is also no way to tell a secondary blog (called side blogs) and a main account with its likes hidden. People tend to create more blogs to better organize and to separate their audience, this is especially common with artists. You can have a main blog which is more reserved and generally follows a theme and looks like a more traditional social media account, and then a side where you are more social and put shit posts.
This is a post I frequently think about
Whenever my dad's/mom's birthday approached I always recalled this post numerous times, and think "maybe, what if they'd like me to draw something like that for them", but never got the guts to ask
… yeah that would be awesome to see actually, and depending on the style of the laser rifle could be made badass. In this case I’d go for a close second to a laser and instead go for something more akin to a plasma cannon from 40k, as it is both an energy weapon and exponentially more lethal, at the cost of a lower potential fire rate, as well as burning through the energy cells faster.
I can get that, I just encounter a lot of folks that are adverse to vocal communication. I guess it is part of being neurodivergant, just feels like more and more no one wants to verbally communicate anymore.
This begs the question, how many of our parents/grandparents have fursonas
The number will increase throughout the years, that's for sure.
There's no putting this genie back in the bottle for society at large.
Not that it is a bad thing.
Not at all.

I'm left wondering if he knows you are furry.
I dont think he does!

Uhhhh im not quite sure if that’s how statistics works 🤔 Oh well I fully trust you furry internet friend👍
Signs of being a furry? I have not heard of such a thing.

Sus
I don't think my dad *is* a furry, but I think he definitely could have been under the right circumstances. He did used to work in IT.
I love how that's all the more explanation we need.

My father has multiple. Would he call them that, though? I doubt it.

This makes me wonder how many parents are furries but just dont know it
Why are the first two accounts different? Whose dad is it?
I believe it's the same person but like an alt acc or smth.

their dad was like "oh I'm born ready, here's my furry art commissions kid, I want you to draw that furry oc that's in my head"
This is truly awesome. I *wish* more dads were like this.
2015 was nearly a decade ago 💀

Oh lovely
This is so sweet
The fact the OP in the image cant be bothered to call her dad.... Sadness....
Well, when it comes to furry stuff with parents it can get kinda awkward. I don't think it's something negative.
I can get that, I just encounter a lot of folks that are adverse to vocal communication. I guess it is part of being neurodivergant, just feels like more and more no one wants to verbally communicate anymore.
Dilf.
I like how they don't even consider the possibility of their parents having hobbies or interests ;D
This is so me
Damn, who wouldn't want this. Time to come out to our parents!!
Really nice fox tho
So wholesome :3
