I was bowling on my birthday dec 18th of last year and I moved my fursuit head (Juno) off the shared table at the bowling alley because I didn’t want to be rude and hog all the space there at the table with the cake and fursuit head so I moved it on top of the booth immediately behind my small party of friends. The group that sat next to us was a four person group of high schoolers two of which were seniors they finished bowling and then were sitting behind the ramp that let up to the bowling lanes at some point in time between our first strike and the next frame I turned around and she was missing. I called the police and filed a report and then I was working to find her so fast and spread posts about it that I actually had just as much info as the police department but after two months there was nothing because the card info didn’t go anywhere since they used Apple Pay. 4-5 months after the theft I called the FOIA office to request the video of them stealing Juno I was denied even though the case was closed, this was really weird but Gena at the FOIA office was very nice and cared about my situation a lot after I explained how important my fursuit head was. Turns out Gena had contacted another detective to see if he could find it which re-opened the case and meant i couldn’t request the video. That detective goes back to the bowling alley asks for the card info, gets nothing after following it, then follows the car to the last place they bought something and then gets all four of them within two days (I assume he followed the cctv to the last place because he made a reference to that but that info is fuzzy)
I am now taking two of them to court for grand larceny and loss of profits since Juno helps me advertise my fursuit making small business
Glad you got redemption! I was involved in a scamming ring where about 6 or 7 of us were robbed 10k in total after being sent many images of our suit being worked on.
People, especially high schoolers, can be scummy. Glad you got it and back totally proud you're taking them to court. If their parents never taught them to not take things that aren't theirs, your court case certainly will.
I'm curious to know.
It would be really stupid if they were just a bunch of furry haters wanting to ruin someone's fun, that would be low and very shameful of them.
Their parents will certainly feel shame, no doubt about it.
It makes no sense to me either. Was it to troll? A dare from one of them? A strange sense of self satisfaction or just a stupid spur of the moment?
Either way, it's done, you got it back and now those kids are going to learn a very hard lesson.
Amazing suit glad you got it back
Do tell us more

TLDR:I got the fuckers who ruined my best birthday I had ever had
Well done :3
Why would they steal her? That’s horrible
The deputy told me he bet the other guy he wouldn’t steal it for 50 bucks
That’s kinda wild lmao. I’m so glad you got it back in one piece tho
Wthhhh police should have one good heckin talk with their parents
I believe they have or are still lol they definitely will have community service at least
Should give them a custom shirt to wear while working; "I messed with the furry community and found out the hard way" >:3
That would be quite silly
I do enjoy a moderate amount of silliness from time to time
I am quite the same (when I said f****** in the comments I was like OOP)
Hope that 50 was worth the Grand larceny and damages
HELL YEAH, JUSTICE IS BEING SERVED!
Glad you got your suit back but why are you only taking two of the four to court? What's the likelihood you'll win?
Two of them are minors
Understandable. Hopefully you win your case against the other two. They might actually learn a lesson... maybe.
And as far as winning it’s 100 percent not possible for them to bat this off it’s just me pressing charges and being reimbursed
Ain’t no one mess with the furry community, these people are cool
Yippee!
RAGGHHH LETS FUCKING GO
That's amazing!! So glad you got her back!

I still don’t understand why they kept her
I’ll be finding out here soon though

Well we knew it was a bet but like I figured they would’ve ditched her somehwere
I’m so glad you got it back!
