Acheron in HSR has made daily and weekly grind so much easier, even Simulated Universe, with her technique. It's basically a sweep, even for 'formidable foes' that guard chests, if they are not elite mobs.
She drastically changed the way I interact with story progression as well. Now I know that whenever I will sit down to play story, I will only need to fight bosses and elites, every other fight can be ignored.
Technically you could have always ignored every fight while doing the story. Enemies are pretty easy to outrun and outmaneuver in that game. Even before I had Acheron I avoided every fight that wasn't scripted.
for normal relic and calyx grind i still use my kafka/BS team but aint no way im doing SU or story without acheron lol the new su we get tomorrow is probably gonna be the same. deleting enemies is just too good
Castoria in FGO is so hilariously broken.
Arknights has a bunch of easy mode big damage DPS units in Mlynar, Surtr, Chalter, Texalter, and Wisadel in the future.
I mean it isn't "one character" but the Abyss Hunters are basically the "every stage just becomes a nail" sorta squad. Whenever there is a stage I can't be assed to really understand the mechanics, brute forcing with Abyss Huntets with their insane team synergy is the way to go.
I've used them quite a lot, they aren't great at dealing with gimmicks but are often tanky enough to just ignore them lol. I find it funny how they have no way of stopping nervous impairment when they're supposed to be great at fighting Seaborns.
Literally this.
I bring the Full Abyssal Hunter squad - all 6 of em.
The other 6 are - Texalter, Kirin Yato, Kalstit, Surtr, Myrtle, Eyjaflla/Ceobe and just blindly play through any stage..
Any other operators I wanna pull are all waifu picks now.
I would also say Castoria for harder content now but for farming Oberan. He over simplifies the last wave with how much damage he provides (plus after Tunguka we have the new plug suit).
Oberon is only important for absolute high-end farming teams though and needs other limited supports to work and only works optimally for a specific set of damage dealers. Meanwhile Castoria goes well with a much bigger roster and support options while already enabling strong farming teams early on and still well in the endgame.
Agreed, Scarlet is good but shes a single target dps, I remember back in the day where some defense stages in Nikke were literally impossible to beat (outside of using an exploit) but then Modernia came out and bam those stages became a joke cause her burst just deleted everything on screen. Also not sure if they patched it yet, but Modernia\`s damage was tied to your FPS.. so people playing in PC version where getting way more dps from Modernia than mobile players.
Neuvillette👤40.000 HP💪250% Crit Damage 🤷♂️Extra 36% CR from Marechusse 💦 Unstoppable🚫 can bypass shield 🛡 Can self heal 🧱 Insane AOE 🐯 Braindead single target ☝spin to win 🕐 can solo abyss 🧙♂️
Now I realized the new domain is blatantly bullying players who didn't pull him. Even geo party feels somewhat not quite satisfying facing the shield wielding enemies
Personally I use a Chev Overload team for the domain, I have Neuv but sometimes I just like shaking things up, Chev Overload has been a blast to play in there.
if you equip the prototype amber on him (his best f2p option) he also heals the entire team + restores their energy. On top of it providing absurd dps despite being HP main stat because he still scales off HP
For Limbus, That would be Daw-

Oh yeah - Project Moon's ultimate move, ***Vertical Difficulty Spike***
(But seriously, the "put game on easy mode" options (Rabbitcliff and NClair) do have their limits, and (for the game's way of fighting back) there's a fuckton of different ways to say "no.", from the Pequod Trio, Jun and Kim going full on reverse jumping, AoE being straight-up bullshit on both ends, and I'll say this:
***If Limbus is on easy mode, you're either farming, or there's some genuine screw up***
True, True, but you gotta remember Kimsault needs to have like a full team of BL/pride ID to fulfil his potential. So it's more like easy mode team rather than easy mode character
I don't know about older players, but as a new player I actually found Limbus' difficulty being derived from having a limited roster, turn limit constraints, and wall of text (enemy skill desc).
Like having a full Blunt team makes Ricardo far easier. Pequod trio gimmick gets cheesed by K Hong Lu. Etc.
Not saying it's easy, just not as difficult as some players make it to be.
Being someone from day 1, the only real issue everybody (***And I do mean everybody, that meme of us PM fans being unable to read isn't something thrown around willy nilly without reason***) is what options the enemies have.
Like you've said, there's many ways to counteract many of Limbus' bosses and bigger annoyances:
* Use Sinking on enemies that rely heavily on Heads Flips (Timekilling Time, Jun, Ricardo, etc) but not on ones that rely on Tails Flips (Kim)
* Use Aggro against enemies in squads (Pequod Trio, most Abnormalities)
* Prioritize HP and SP (Fluid Sac Faust, Sunshower Yi Sang, Ya Śūnyatā Tad Rūpam Heathcliff, etc) for the long haul
* Understand how IDs work individually (Dawnclair needs SP Badly, while NClair has a good way to keep himself from corroding) and as a squad (Kurokumo Gregor loves a team with lots of Bleed, while Spicebush Yi Sang is an amazing Sinking Finisher and you're better off using Molar Boatworks Ishmael rather than Maid Ishmael for Sinking (And the Maid should be used if there's risk of having your worker swimsuit-wearing Ishmael wrecked by her own reliance on self-tremor)
Want Sinking to obliterate a man? Mexican with the Mexican Toad Shield
Want Burn? Nclair
Want Tremor? Project Moon's reminder that people are idiots
Want Rupture? Sheetclair
Want Slash? Dawnclair

Mlynar "Put these foolish ambitions to rest" Nearl.
That being said, you still have to get good outside of normal mode.
Castoria from FGO. A near-universal support that can be put into both farming and Challenge quest teams. Her combination of buffs, enabling of arts looping, NP providing True invincibility and debuff cleanse make her a must have that basically trivalizes the game so bad it both redefined the meta and forced Lasengle to make content ridiculously hard to compensate.
Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment
Unleashes surging torrents, dealing continuous AoE Hydro DMG to all opponents in a straight-line area in front of him.
Equitable Judgment will not consume any Stamina and lasts 3s.
If Neuvillette's HP is above 50%, he will continuously lose HP while using this attack.
https://i.redd.it/t5i0n7ol077d1.gif
Melusine from FGO. With her I can ignore class advantages (almost always) and just nuke anything.
For Genshin, I've been really impressed by Arlecchino. And for HSR, Acheron, there's no need for further explanation, I guess.
Yelan for me in Genshin.
High damage, can slot into most normal attack heavy teams, dash that gives her max movement speed for a few seconds for exploration.
Ganyu is crazy to hear, I keep trying to make her work but I feel like charge based archers are too slow and intterupt-prone to be workable.
Arknights has had three of these for me. First it was Goldenglow, then it was Thorns, then it was Texas alter. Between those three I think I can handle anything.
I'm not OP but damn, it's been 3 years already? I also remember Ganyu being the biggest damage dealer for me but I also stopped playing after that and never returned. So, it's a bit of a shocker for me to hear that Ganyu is now consider worse DPS (comment above).
They nerfed Venti to the ground by replacing CC-able enemies with bosses or Ruin family, so Ganyu's quadratic scaling burst doesn't work anymore (it's the reason why she's broken 3 years ago).
While Melt Ganyu is still viable today, the gameplay is clunky af, no one uses it today (and Melt comps are mid in general due to lack of off-field Pyro enabler outside of Xiangling). Maybe Emilie in next patch with Burning reaction will save her, but I 90% doubt it.
They‘ve started to put bosses on both sides which kills Venti’s viability. You can run Jean-Bennett for Melt Ganyu too. If anyone’s still playing that team then they should use Ganyu’s burst (it’s been disproven that her burst steals Melts) because it’s just free damage.
Ganyu is like 3 years out of date. She hasn't been good for a while. In the last abyss cycle, she had a whopping 3.7% usage rate.
Back in her heyday, you played freeze and mainly used her for her burst. Doesn't work very well now, though.
Yeah 😔 I kinda just recently stopped using her (Ganyu main for years) because she just doesn't deal as much damage anymore after Fontaine came. I just use her when the abyss isn't really too annoying, but man. Fuck the Fatui Operatives for being so tanky.
Obtaining Ganyu back in the day was ridiculously funny for me. Dvalin and Rhodeia, two insanely difficult pieces of content in my early game, almost immediately trivialized.
While I still use her in my Ayaka freeze team as a sort of off-field DPS/support, nowadays it really is all about Neuvillette when it comes to trivializing content.
For me as a mobile player, it's impossible to play archers as aiming in moblie, especially in an old phone is really hard. For neuvi it's just skill and hold atk. You don't need to aim, the enemies are dead in seconds. Yes, I have learnt how to manage using archers now, but neuvi is more comfortable to play than ganyu since his gameplay is so dumb easy that you cannot fail with it.
Getting downvoted for truth, for mobile only players its definately harder to play Archers, much less one that relies on precision to maximize the most damage out of her charged shot.
Azur Lane: Perseus
When she was released the game became Auto Lane, you didn't need to look at your phone anymore
She came out like 5 years ago and is still considered the best mob fleet CV in the game

Reject Meta, embrace the First Holy ~~Lamb~~ Goat.
Not a character. EGOs in Limbus are sort of "ultimates" for the characters. Like Noble Phantasms from FGO, except you can equip them on any character variation (identity), so getting an EGO from gacha is sometimes even better than a new Identity, because they have lower rates AND you can't get a duplicate EGO, so every single one pulled will be new.
Some EGOs are presented in the limbus pass track, both free ones and paid ones. You can get paid egos next season using your shards, so there's no EGO NOT available for F2P players.
However, from all of EGOs, one stands on top. And that's Fluid Sac for Faust.
It's fucking broken. Each sinner has 2 main "resources". It's their HP (Self explanatory) and SP, aka sanity. Higher SP - higher chance to win coin flip when using skills. Caps at 45 sp for +45% chance, totalling 95% chance to flip heads. Works in the other way too. Lower SP - lower chances to hit Heads, and when at negative sp, your ego can become corroded. If your sinner reaches -45 sp, they will either panic, skipping their turn (if you have ONLY base ego equipped) or corrode, causing them to use corroded versions of their skills randomly (some egos have specific targeting on corrosion, like targeting only units with most HP or targeting the slowest ones, or etc), which, of course, means that corroded sinners can absolutely nuke your other sinners with their ego.
Anyway, both hp and sp management is important. There are egos that heal hp, there are those that heal sp. But you know what Fluid Sac does? It heals BOTH. And not only that, the heal is TEAM WIDE. It doesn't matter how many sinners you have. 3, 5 or even 12. ALL of them will receive healing (other strong healing egos usually heal only 3 lowest hp sinners or something like that, for example). What is even better, every ego in the game costs sp to use, as well as sin resources. Fluid Sac costs 20 sp, but immediately after using it, you heal everyone for 15 sp, so you really only lose 5 sp on using it. Also, if you have it at uptie 4 AND you hit heads, everyone recovers additional 10 sp, granting you a 5 sp gain even after using Fluid Sac. Not strong enough? Sure, Fluid Sac also has a passive that gives 2 protection for your lowest hp ally every turn for free (1 stack of protection is 10% less damage received, so 20% damage reduction) and is also an aoe attack with 5 attack weight, meaning that in fights with 5 human enemies, you will hit them all using Fluid Sac.
Fluid Sac has 2 problems. 1st, it's corrosion version kinda sucks, it doesn't give you healing at all and only deals sp damage to enemies (very niche). It also has 2 attack damage down, but it's way too costy for just that. 2nd, it costs a whopping 9 sin resources, and requires particularly 4 Gloom, which is probably the most contested sin affinity as a lot of good EGOs use it. It isn't a big problem though, because every Faust ID apart from base Faust (she sucks, you won't use her anyway) and N corp Faust (actually good) has a gloom affinity skill to generate that sin. Even better, there's a 2 star Faust ID (L corp Remnant) that has Lust, Gloom, Envy skills AND Envy affinity dodge skill, so she by herself can fuel Fluid Sac if needed.
It's THE best EGO in the game. Need healing? Fluid Sac. Need SP healing? Fluid Sac. There are a lot of enemies? Well, better EGOs exist for aoe damage, but still, you can use Fluid Sac. What's better, is that it is HE level EGO, and the only other HE EGO for Faust is Telepole, which is not worth using at all tbh because Telepole Don is a lot better, so you can just slot in Fluid Sac on any Faust ID, which you should do anyway.
Apart from that, well, Wingbeat EGO for Ishmael is funny, can deal a lot of damage to single target enemies. But it's too RNG heavy and unreliable when compared to Fluid Sac.
When talking about ID's themselves, I can't name one. Because it mostly comes to your team overall rather than one specific unit.
I downloaded limbus once, I was stuck at the menu and don't know what to do. I already pressed everything but I can't get into any battles or whatever.
Well, this doesn't sound like quite what you experienced, but I downloaded it a couple weeks ago and it just wouldn't even load into the tutorial until I cleared the cache and essentially re-downloaded it. So maybe you had a somewhat similar issue where it just didn't fire? (Unless you did the tutorial and mean you couldn't figure it out after that...)
>Also, if you have it at uptie 4 AND you hit heads, everyone recovers additional 10 sp, granting you a 5 sp gain even after using Fluid Sac
Is it just me, or is the Heads flip of Faust Fluid Sac rigged? Even when using this EGO at +45 sanity, I mostly tend to roll Tails with it for whatever reason.
When you use EGO, you suffer the SP loss immediately before rolling your coin. So, in reality, when you use Fluid Sac on 45 sp, you pay 20 sp as cost, meaning that you only have 25 sp, thus +25% chance to flip heads, not +45%. So yeah, it's 1/4 chance to lose the coin flip, which isn't that rare tbh.

[cue immediate regret](https://www.reddit.com/r/limbuscompany/comments/1bne51t/jun_when_he_unlocks_his_ego/)
(Yeah, better hope to Ayin you don't hit Jun with those AoE EGOs, even with a stray hit. Or to be more blunt, don't go throwing important EGOs around willy nilly when the enemy's got a swift answer against it (Timekilling Time's boss can more than easily invalidate Fluid Sac with the amount of Bleed he applies, as well as one of his moves being an 3-weight AoE, as a good example))

Crimson Weave Lucia in Punishing Gray Raven is probably the most fun and OP character I've ever played in any gacha game. The kit on her is just insane. In warzone it even gets higher scores when on dark element buff 😭.

I only play Genshin and WuWa from gacha games. So if I have to pick one, then it's definitely Zhongli in Genshin because I hate dodging, I just like to nuke. And in WuWa there is none, because the game is too new, there are no good shielders, or a broken dps that would overpower entirety of the content yet.

The most broken character, and even more broken as she got buffed this patch. Honestly she's almost free, she's anniv character and you get alot of freemium during anniv. Like I got 3 copies of her as f2p, and now going for MBT.

This is the closest things in Limbus that can makes the gameplay a lot easier. It's the closest thing because while it is one of the most used things in Limbus with full teams SP (a mechanic that increase a chance of wining battle) and 15% of their Max HP, it's an EGO. An EGO is like an ultimate move in Limbus, it requires SP and Resource, which you are not spamming it every turn and your team will need to have the right resource generate on their skill to use the EGO. So it's not like a thing that will end the battle instantly or anything but it abilities to increase your team survival and win rate help a lot in hard or even normal stage.
Outside of this, there are some others unit that can be close to "carry your whole team" but they also have some flaws on their own. Rcorp Heathcliff, using skill 3 with 6+ speed will deal an stupid amount of dmg with an extra debuff that help your team deals more dmg, but he use bullet, on long battle, when he run out of bullet, the dmg from his skill will decrease a lot. Ncorp Sinclair, big dmg, big number, chance to hit in your allies face. Wcorp Don and Wcorp Ryoshu, using skill 3 without enough charge will suffer from HP penalty (and they both squishy)
Snowbreak: Maxed out Cherno - Enigma because OP damage at any range and against every boss.
Genshin: Maxed out Xianyun because of exploration speed and plunging attacks that literally circumvent most boss mechanics while doing OP damage.
HSR: Maxed out Acheron because of exploration haxx and OP damage that is colourless (though that barely matters).
Wuthering waves: No one so far. I am guess it will take a while before a truly OP character shows up.
Beast Gohan in Dokkan, they had to put a restriction on the new Cell Max to not use Super Heroes category characters so you don't run Beast in his team.
Also I see ridiculously long hair, I'm happy

Super orion from fgo, the best solo unit kit that specializes in critical hits so well that even fighting against classes hes weak to becomes, "What the fuck is a type advantage?"
In E7, I don't think I have gotten as much use in PvE out of a single unit as Tamarinne and Roana. They each trivialize so much content that it's ridiculous. Same with Adventurer Ras; bro is solid all around, he does everything but DPS. Just throw him in a team and watch him go brrrrr.
Back when it was still online, Roxanne from The Alchemist Code made a ton of content Roxy + the auto button. It was, as far as I know, the only character they ever had to both nerf directly AND buff event stages to counter her SPECIFICALLY.
For GBF it's .... no one, really no one. In general content, if your grid is good, any unit will work easy. In HL content, even with the most busted units 1 step and you're dead. So yeah busted units do not make the game on "easy" mode. The strongest unit is MC (Gran / Djeeta) even in HL content
For genshin, arguably neuvi. For wuwa, it's jiyan (I have his signature). For HSR it's definitely Acheron. For hi3 it's Horb (herrscher of death). For fgo it's Morgan.
I’m not sure if anyone mentioned it, but Fallen Edelgard from Fire Emblem Heroes. I barely play Aether Raids or Arena, so I’m not sure how powerful she is in there. But in story mode she was abnormally strong and the only way to beat her in Lunatic mode is to get yourself a Fallen Edelgard.
I’ve been playing the game since launch and I’ve seen meta builds or powercreeps throughout the game’s lifecycle. But holy crap F!Edelgard take the cake and I think to this day she’s still powerful.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but legendary male Byleth was supposed to be her only counter? And I think Brave Erika after that? I’m not as well versed into stats or abilities since I’m a very casual player, but F!Edelgard was a definitely huge not to ignore.
I also wanted to mentioned that once you get her, everything becomes so much easier even in Lunatic mode. Although now it seems hard to beat a level with her, but that’s probably because almost every new banner, there’s at least one powercreep character that breaks the game.
Well, F!Edelgard WAS easy mode for a while, currently outdated and outclassed. Nowadays I think B!Catria + every monthly game-breaker are the true easy mode, which means if you’re a newbie and/or cursed with your pulls (like me on the latter), you’ll be left eating dirt all over the game.
For FGO, a lot of people are mention supports, but you need other servants to make them actually broken (such as double Castoria, etc).
For me, solo-ers like Cu Alter, QSH, and most importantly, Bond 10 Herc. These are servants that, if you borrow them from a support, can carry you through almost half the game with them alone. And they also demolish Grail Fronts, an event where it’s just 1v1s.
Twinkle Star Knights:
* Luriel is broken because she can simultaneously push your party forward in the turn order and give your party a stack of attack buffs each time, raising their offenses extremely high.
* Venus is broken because she can use her cheaper skill to turn push, give herself attack buff stacks, and hit hard.
* Ixillion is broken because her big attack has a ludicrous damage% modifier, letting her nuke enemies for millions of damage with little setup.
* Alt. Claudia is all three of these baked into one absurd character. She can also hit all enemies at once while doing so.
The devs massively retooled the challenge stage difficulty to accommodate the first three characters. There's even one boss that has 100 HP and 100 shield, takes only 1 damage to either per hit, and removes all party buffs with its basic attack. Not even that worked for Claudia.
In Dislyte, we’ve got hit by a couple of game changing units. Dislyte has a unique way of sparking, being that you collect spark currency, which can be exchanged for units. The currency carries over, so you can save for either a fancy new unit or copies of an already owned one to ascend them.
The catch? There are four elements, three of which can be obtained via spark currency: flow, inferno and wind. They are basically your usual water-fire-earth element affinities. The fourth, Shimmer, is neutral to all and can only be “sparked” with a very limited currency. You might get enough to spark after a few months, and then you end up in a fifty-fifty (I think they’re changing this to guaranteed). Needless to say you get very few of them and they are very powerful, with one glaring example: Anna.
Anna👤15215 HP💪925 Def🤷♂️ 1503 Armor 💦 Immune 🚫Rainbow Shield 🌈 Counterattacks ⏪ 20% Max HP True Damage 💣 Gains Free AP 🏃♀️ Steals your buffs 🕵️♀️ Cant Die 🕐 Undispellable buffs🧙♂️ Ignores Defense 🖐️
She basically can wipe your team on both phases if you don’t prepare specifically for her. We’ve had a few more game changing espers since, but she is still always a threat albeit slightly easier, like instead of a thermonuclear bomb it’s only an atomic.
shouts to first anni gogeta when he first came out in dokkan, one of the few timesi can think of where a unit is so good it became oractically the only good one
in arknights, if you have both texas alter and yato alter, the game becomes easy mode permanently
every fucking mode ('cept CC) can be cleared with both and 2 other random ops
Cherno from SCZ, every enemy that got hit by her bullet will receive a strong DoT due to her skill. That means you can shot an enemy once and leave them to perish
For limbus its probably charge units like W Don W Ryo R heath and R ish imo. They have evades which counter unclashable attacks, a strong payoff s3 and charge is a very independent status that doesnt necessarily need much support. (maybe don telepole but you're already running don in that team)
Don't think HSR or GI has a single character that makes the game ezmode. Maybe Zhongli could be it, due to the strength of his shield. HSR just doesn't have that level of shielding, and Acheron just makes you skip easy fights, which doesn't actually make it easier, just quicker. In FGO it is definitely Castoria.
https://preview.redd.it/caahrki9997d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07177f3563e136c6c385f16815b4376b3f8cb12f
Got to choose Amairo for my pick. Imagine a game with many mechanics like stuns, breaking shields, piercing shields and maybe you can only take so many counters. The rest is up to dodging and positioning. Then this chick comes along and counters everything. The catch? The only catch is the target doing the thing has to be in the counter circle that is pretty huge in front of her while she is in counter stance. Afterwords she games extra invincibility frames while doing the counter and extra range. And this whole counter stance thing is her spammable action. The circle is also modestly wide that it's hard to hit her from behind if she's against a wall and near impossible if she's in a corner and modestly big that even ranged attacks are just barely outside its range. So she can sit in a corner stall against melee heroes and walk two steps towards ranged heroes to counter them. You may be convinced by Amairo players that this is a skilled matchup and you can just "hit them from behind" but that is just a guessing game in their favor because if they guess fight and turn around in time they will most likely knock you up and kill you. But, if they guess wrong, you either got a small attack in or had to use your actual resources to kill them.
Herrscher of Human Elysia sure has made the game easier for me, I got her and her full set in less than 70 pulls total (starting from 0 pity on all), and before that I couldn’t even do the 2nd highest difficulty in Elysian realm, until I got her, still not good for Abyss as, Honkai Power creep is real, but Elysian realm is what I wanted to clear and I could after getting her
Honestly anything with dupes. Especially if the unit was already good. I got really lucky with Acheron and got her at e4. She just slaughters everything and its not close.
Ameth in Priconne JP makes your whole team immortal while massively boosting your teams overall damage regardless of attack type. It's like 60+ levels worth of offensive and defensive buff.
For me, a Neuvi-less player in Genshin, it's Arlecchino. apart from the abyss, the game became worryingly too easy due to enemies dying in a handful of normal attacks. Thankfullly, I'm now having fun shooting and zipping everywhere with Clorinde, while reserving Arlecchino for farming annoying domains.
haha so many noobs think scarlet make the game easy mode while she's
1 pretty lacking as a dps compared to other meta dps to the point where some top 50 players (of the entire server) choose to not even use her when the create 5 teams of a total of 25! nikke (imagine that 25 nikke and no room for scarlet0
2 has no lasting aoe unlike modernia or red hood or sbs or even characters like alice who can clear multiple waves because they aren't bound to a single aoe shot
Summer Zoe definitely had a lot of impact on Granblue Fantasy. Enmity (you have more attack the lower your health) number is very high because it is not easy to trigger it naturally and you are at risk dying. Dark Zoe instant solved the problem by (1) making all your ally to 1 hp and (2) give invulnerable for 1 turn and heal back 25% every turn if you attacked. This combined with the fact that the f2p weapon grid (farmable) is enmity mod makes it instant broken
While nowaday she isn't as powerful as there are better options, she was so good that sometimes she is put on off-element team because enabling 3 other character to hit the damage cap is worth having a deadweight
In Genshin, Arlecchino has completely trivialized almost all content for me. I run her with Bennett, Yelan, and Kazuha and she just vaporizes anything that looks at her funny. Abyss is still a bit rough as my 2nd team, while built well, is just not on the same level.
In Nikke, it's gotta be Crown. Scarlet has somewhat fallen off outside of story stages. She just doesn't offer enough on bosses. Crown's release and her synergy with Naga and Rapunzel makes a Liter + Modernia + Red Hood team just devastating for most bosses and rips through story stages with ease. Allowed me to get top 100 on Solo Raid for the first time.
In Star Rail, Acheron steamrolls all of the farm content. Between her technique sweeping basic mobs and her insane base damage ripping through elites and bosses, nothing but MoC12 gives me any trouble anymore. Pair her with Fu Xuan or Aventurine to make her unkillable and it's like playing the whole game on easy mode.
Myrtle from Arknights. The little brat prints so much DP that I can literally put my entire setup down within the first 10 seconds. The fact she is a 4 star makes her incredibly accessible even to new players, and she is used in some of the hardest content in the game simply because she does her job so well.
Not a game that focused around its gatcha system like regular gatchas but it has one, KOSMOS from xenoblade 2 is stupidly broken being a light dps (only shared with 3 other characters) that can heal using her level 2 ult, one of her abilities shreds def by 100%, another increases damage by 100% and takes 30 less and then she reduces aggro build up
Lee: hyperreal and all gen 2 frames in Punishing Gray Raven

Every yellow armour boss pulverised with her existence. The more HP they have the more damage she deals. Absolute broken unit. Plus she is cute.
And it's so good, I feel like I've managed to cut down so much weekly time off the game with her while still doing every bit of content there is
Technically you could have always ignored every fight while doing the story. Enemies are pretty easy to outrun and outmaneuver in that game. Even before I had Acheron I avoided every fight that wasn't scripted.
Eh, I like getting the rewards and exploring without having to worry about a random dude rushing me. 😅
And other scripted fights
even if she wasnt strong that alone made me want to pull for her, quality of life.
I actually favor Topaz in HSR for chest fining during exploration of new zones.
for normal relic and calyx grind i still use my kafka/BS team but aint no way im doing SU or story without acheron lol the new su we get tomorrow is probably gonna be the same. deleting enemies is just too good
Aventurine and Fu Xuan also provide incredible defense
For real. I just love her character and gameplay. Farming the overworld isn't tedious anymore.
Skalter's bard module is gonna let her specifically heal nervous impairment, just trust me bro.
Skalter got an ishar'mla skin, imagine she GIVE our operators nervous impairment
Feels good when your waifu is the green Lynx.
Castoria+ Merlin+ Morgan is my favorite comp easily. Invincible team.
Buff Dispel and bye.
:( I fking hate buff removal
Most characters do expect the goat one And only herc
I would also say Castoria for harder content now but for farming Oberan. He over simplifies the last wave with how much damage he provides (plus after Tunguka we have the new plug suit).
Oberon is only important for absolute high-end farming teams though and needs other limited supports to work and only works optimally for a specific set of damage dealers. Meanwhile Castoria goes well with a much bigger roster and support options while already enabling strong farming teams early on and still well in the endgame.
I’d say red hood or modernia rather than scarlet. They’re so good why use anyone else.
Agreed, Scarlet is good but shes a single target dps, I remember back in the day where some defense stages in Nikke were literally impossible to beat (outside of using an exploit) but then Modernia came out and bam those stages became a joke cause her burst just deleted everything on screen. Also not sure if they patched it yet, but Modernia\`s damage was tied to your FPS.. so people playing in PC version where getting way more dps from Modernia than mobile players.
fps is still capped at 60 so as long as the mobile is still getting 60 the dps is the same. and no, it's still like that.
Her health drain also sometimes becomes a problem. But at least she isn’t like guillotine where she has to be low to do damage
Careful now, overwork your top Nikkes and you might give them lumbago.
how about Scarlet's black shadow version? That's the one I pulled.
scarlet BS is the absolute best dps against bosses (unless the boss has destroyable body parts, then red hood is the better dps)
SBS is better than OG Scarlet in everything outside of PvP
Castoria hands down And for AK. Surtr until the content made around her.
Eversoul: https://preview.redd.it/essg81w6777d1.jpeg?width=482&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f660ec8a9a41e6722501ddf365a1ec4a906c050f
For Genshin: Neuvilette for gameplay, Wanderer for exploration.
The Ksante of Genshin
Oh no, my 2 biggest illness in gaming together that I can't let go off. What have you done?!
Wanderer + Xianyun for exploration
Don't forget Nahida, she is just like archeron in some sense: the trivial works like climbing cliffs to collect materials get reduced
I don't have Xianyun yet but I'm gunning for her rerun, her skill looks extremely fun to use.
She is, spamming her E before a climb gives you an huge height boost. She has a permanent spot on my exploration team.
same
They at least balanced Neuvilette being overpowered by making him extremely boring to play
For Limbus, That would be Daw- https://preview.redd.it/ynbb5cgfz67d1.png?width=640&format=png&auto=webp&s=e6947808bbfab6685396ef7e0b7f4a1fb0baff5b Oh yeah - Project Moon's ultimate move, ***Vertical Difficulty Spike*** (But seriously, the "put game on easy mode" options (Rabbitcliff and NClair) do have their limits, and (for the game's way of fighting back) there's a fuckton of different ways to say "no.", from the Pequod Trio, Jun and Kim going full on reverse jumping, AoE being straight-up bullshit on both ends, and I'll say this: ***If Limbus is on easy mode, you're either farming, or there's some genuine screw up***
https://preview.redd.it/1ucagbti577d1.png?width=320&format=png&auto=webp&s=6feb3a89fd885cac5d35a35ad249f61b119a5976
Or you know, Blade Lineage Mersault. Can’t win the clash? No problem! Just take the hit and counterattack even harder!
Meanwhile with idiots like the Trio... (But yeah - BL Meursault's S4 is a good answer...with only Meursault.)
Etc. Not saying it's easy, just not as difficult as some players make it to be.
that would require PM players to read, which is nearly impossible
Being someone from day 1, the only real issue everybody (***And I do mean everybody, that meme of us PM fans being unable to read isn't something thrown around willy nilly without reason***) is what options the enemies have. Like you've said, there's many ways to counteract many of Limbus' bosses and bigger annoyances: * Use Sinking on enemies that rely heavily on Heads Flips (Timekilling Time, Jun, Ricardo, etc) but not on ones that rely on Tails Flips (Kim) * Use Aggro against enemies in squads (Pequod Trio, most Abnormalities) * Prioritize HP and SP (Fluid Sac Faust, Sunshower Yi Sang, Ya Śūnyatā Tad Rūpam Heathcliff, etc) for the long haul * Understand how IDs work individually (Dawnclair needs SP Badly, while NClair has a good way to keep himself from corroding) and as a squad (Kurokumo Gregor loves a team with lots of Bleed, while Spicebush Yi Sang is an amazing Sinking Finisher and you're better off using Molar Boatworks Ishmael rather than Maid Ishmael for Sinking (And the Maid should be used if there's risk of having your worker swimsuit-wearing Ishmael wrecked by her own reliance on self-tremor)
the junscare
Real gamers have a Sinclair for every damage type
Want Sinking to obliterate a man? Mexican with the Mexican Toad Shield Want Burn? Nclair Want Tremor? Project Moon's reminder that people are idiots Want Rupture? Sheetclair Want Slash? Dawnclair

Zhongli for genshin Aventurine for star rail Cause they both have unbreakable shields :D
+1 Aventurine He is a cheatcode with a skill shield
Shielder who is Tanky and also deal big damage is my favorite.
Wasn't even building him to be ATK focus yet I am still surprised at how hard his FUA hit.
His damage scales off DEF, which is even better! Makes him really simple to build.
The uninstall button 💀
Gleo and Galex :(
The Gleo meta was good times.
And Grace!
Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment Unleashes surging torrents, dealing continuous AoE Hydro DMG to all opponents in a straight-line area in front of him. Equitable Judgment will not consume any Stamina and lasts 3s. If Neuvillette's HP is above 50%, he will continuously lose HP while using this attack.
https://i.redd.it/t5i0n7ol077d1.gif Melusine from FGO. With her I can ignore class advantages (almost always) and just nuke anything. For Genshin, I've been really impressed by Arlecchino. And for HSR, Acheron, there's no need for further explanation, I guess.
Mr John Lee in Genshin makes the game run on Story mode nvm easy mode.
Degenbrecher is coming, just merely a few days left.
Yelan for me in Genshin. High damage, can slot into most normal attack heavy teams, dash that gives her max movement speed for a few seconds for exploration.
Gala Cleo when Dragalia was still around :( And Lowen, both his base and Halloween version were cracked af for a 4 star
Maybe OP stopped playing genshin 3 years ago when ganyu was OP?
Recent Abyss haven't favor Cryo characters either with high resistance to Cryo damage and Cryo shields.
She'll shine again with Shneznaya
Cryo's in a rough spot in the current meta, it's not just her
Yeah 😔 I kinda just recently stopped using her (Ganyu main for years) because she just doesn't deal as much damage anymore after Fontaine came. I just use her when the abyss isn't really too annoying, but man. Fuck the Fatui Operatives for being so tanky.
Mylnar also make the arknights much easier
I was going to say OP must have not played Genshin in like awhile. She hasn’t exactly been that meta in awhile.
Pretty sure one of the reasons daily farming in HSR is so fast for me is because of Argenti, he melts calyxes and caverns.
PROTECT ALL BEAUTY I don't have him but he sure does make farming a breeze
For Aether Gazer, it's Izanami for DPS and Hera and Lingguang for universal supports. You can't go wrong pulling for any of these characters.
Castoria hasn’t left my team in 2 years. Red Hood in NIKKE is what finally was able to make that damn train beatable.
Zhongli CEO of GEO
Azur Lane: Perseus When she was released the game became Auto Lane, you didn't need to look at your phone anymore She came out like 5 years ago and is still considered the best mob fleet CV in the game

Sir this is a Wendy's.
What having no PC at the moment to play Limbus does to a motherfucker
I downloaded limbus once, I was stuck at the menu and don't know what to do. I already pressed everything but I can't get into any battles or whatever.
Well, this doesn't sound like quite what you experienced, but I downloaded it a couple weeks ago and it just wouldn't even load into the tutorial until I cleared the cache and essentially re-downloaded it. So maybe you had a somewhat similar issue where it just didn't fire? (Unless you did the tutorial and mean you couldn't figure it out after that...)
https://i.redd.it/29qx2jd4877d1.gif You win. Fantastic example.
>Also, if you have it at uptie 4 AND you hit heads, everyone recovers additional 10 sp, granting you a 5 sp gain even after using Fluid Sac Is it just me, or is the Heads flip of Faust Fluid Sac rigged? Even when using this EGO at +45 sanity, I mostly tend to roll Tails with it for whatever reason.
When you use EGO, you suffer the SP loss immediately before rolling your coin. So, in reality, when you use Fluid Sac on 45 sp, you pay 20 sp as cost, meaning that you only have 25 sp, thus +25% chance to flip heads, not +45%. So yeah, it's 1/4 chance to lose the coin flip, which isn't that rare tbh.
https://preview.redd.it/uq0urflw177d1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=d1a105494e6d12eba9337309e8202e8dd5d647f3 [cue immediate regret](https://www.reddit.com/r/limbuscompany/comments/1bne51t/jun_when_he_unlocks_his_ego/) (Yeah, better hope to Ayin you don't hit Jun with those AoE EGOs, even with a stray hit.

Huh, so reactor basically made NYB op again? Interesting.
meanwhile I still get clapped by challenge mode even at lvl 87 with Mika and S.Hoshino lmao
Crimson Weave Lucia in Punishing Gray Raven is probably the most fun and OP character I've ever played in any gacha game. The kit on her is just insane. In warzone it even gets higher scores when on dark element buff 😭. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_BbNYcqWrc
Havoc Rover and Kenjaku
Really easy mode now in genshin is dendro My favourite is Nahida, kokomi, Raiden or yae and Kazuha Then just sit back and afk farming at best lol

Honestly she's almost free, she's anniv character and you get alot of freemium during anniv. Like I got 3 copies of her as f2p, and now going for MBT.
https://preview.redd.it/yr6tbu5qx87d1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=d37b97fe9163807eea24d8742bb4d0b76ff8e59b This is the closest things in Limbus that can makes the gameplay a lot easier.
Honestly any fontainian character in genshin they’re all just so op compared to other regions
Ruan mei and Acheron cheese 70% of the game. They're so stupidly broken to have. Ruan mei is the xiangling of HSR.

Beast Gohan in Dokkan, they had to put a restriction on the new Cell Max to not use Super Heroes category characters so you don't run Beast in his team. Also I see ridiculously long hair, I'm happy
Path to Nowhere: Deren, Shalom and Yao as stand alone units and as a whole team comp the Bleed team is really broken.
Castoria is so hilariously broken so much so its honestly a downside if I dont have an arts attacker for that class even when I have Skadi

When you hate Spriggans so much you field your own.
In Action Taimanin, Asagi Igawa... 😍
Gremory in King's Raid... well, not anymore. Not since they completely fucked over everything 2 years back.
For genshin, all characters make the game easy mode fr.
Spirit Maiden Theria (Last Cloudia)
Jiyan made WuWa easier
Castoria bar none.
Seeing Kamael on his base skin feels weird.

NClair... still Nclair
Twinkle Star Knights: * Luriel is broken because she can simultaneously push your party forward in the turn order and give your party a stack of attack buffs each time, raising their offenses extremely high.
GBF with MC + Eresh as main hand 😎

Anna👤15215 HP💪925 Def🤷♂️ 1503 Armor 💦 Immune 🚫Rainbow Shield 🌈 Counterattacks ⏪ 20% Max HP True Damage 💣 Gains Free AP 🏃♀️ Steals your buffs 🕵️♀️ Cant Die 🕐 Undispellable buffs🧙♂️ Ignores Defense 🖐️ She basically can wipe your team on both phases if you don’t prepare specifically for her.
I was f2p when kamael released and after that, I never touched arena again.
Blue archive - Iroha
in arknights, if you have both texas alter and yato alter, the game becomes easy mode permanently every fucking mode ('cept CC) can be cleared with both and 2 other random ops
Cherno from SCZ, every enemy that got hit by her bullet will receive a strong DoT due to her skill. That means you can shot an enemy once and leave them to perish
Replacer king when he launched was so nasty in pvp on counter side
Blud thinks Ganyu is in team
For limbus its probably charge units like W Don W Ryo R heath and R ish imo. They have evades which counter unclashable attacks, a strong payoff s3 and charge is a very independent status that doesnt necessarily need much support. (maybe don telepole but you're already running don in that team)
Castoria for farming and everything else. Van gogh NP2 for every single boss fight
Using Ganyu's pic is certainly a choice.

Alpha Crimson Weave from PGR. She's so strong, she can almost out-damage other element's constructs in their own stages. I love her!
Herrscher of Human Elysia sure has made the game easier for me, I got her and her full set in less than 70 pulls total (starting from 0 pity on all), and before that I couldn’t even do the 2nd highest difficulty in Elysian realm, until I got her, still not good for Abyss as, Honkai Power creep is real, but Elysian realm is what I wanted to clear and I could after getting her
Shanks 🔥
For Nikke it is Modernia for me. I was completely stuck in all aspects of the game and then I finally got her and I can finally play the game again.
Hilda and Feng Xu in Dislyte
Enterprise. No cap.
Enterprise. No cap.
Neuvilette And I hate it. Which is why I main Noelle.
I don't play anymore but Kazuha the fckin GOAT. Idc that he fell off the meta now apparently bc of Furina
Neuvillette for genshin. Just spin around a few times and everything disappears.
Beast Gohan dokkan
Sophie in Atelier Resleri. First character banner, big tank that gives a big dmg res debuff. Also immune to powercreep.
Fu Xuan. Protecting your squishies from one shots and making crowd control gambles a thing of the past most of the time. Best sustain hands down.
Ben in ZZZ. His ability to block allows him to ignore almost anything in the game.
Wis'adel, Red Hood, Tooth Fairy
Boys Love Mentor Meursault from Limbus Company. Cracked damage, clashing and support abilities. Can't add anything to my words
haha so many noobs think scarlet make the game easy mode while she's 1 pretty lacking as a dps compared to other meta dps to the point where some top 50 players (of the entire server) choose to not even use her when the create 5 teams of a total of 25! nikke (imagine that 25 nikke and no room for scarlet0 2 has no lasting aoe unlike modernia or red hood or sbs or even characters like alice who can clear multiple waves because they aren't bound to a single aoe shot
This combined with the fact that the f2p weapon grid (farmable) is enmity mod makes it instant broken While nowaday she isn't as powerful as there are better options, she was so good that sometimes she is put on off-element team because enabling 3 other character to hit the damage cap is worth having a deadweight
Acheron and castoria
And aventurine
I absolutely love her design, but in PGR, CW Alpha trivializes everything with ult spam

Myrtle from Arknights. The little brat prints so much DP that I can literally put my entire setup down within the first 10 seconds. The fact she is a 4 star makes her incredibly accessible even to new players, and she is used in some of the hardest content in the game simply because she does her job so well.
Not a game that focused around its gatcha system like regular gatchas but it has one, KOSMOS from xenoblade 2 is stupidly broken being a light dps (only shared with 3 other characters) that can heal using her level 2 ult, one of her abilities shreds def by 100%, another increases damage by 100% and takes 30 less and then she reduces aggro build up
New Jersey in Azure Lane
Cherno Enigma in Snowbreak has made everything super fast for me.
Acheron in HSR, I do 10 minute SU runs now. Neuvillette and Arlecchino in Genshin, they just DPS down the entire overworld very fast
Lee: hyperreal and all gen 2 frames in Punishing Gray Raven They make bosses into a cake walk ~~*(unless babel tower or Norman but we don't talk about that)*~~
Mika Misono in Blue Archive. Every yellow armour boss pulverised with her existence. The more HP they have the more damage she deals. Absolute broken unit. Plus she is cute.
Princess connect: neneka
Shoutout to the e6 Acheron friends/friends who built herta and argenti to just auto calyxes and any boss/weakly w no sustain
