I'm glad that she even made the list over characters like our Pirate Captain, Regulus, Melania, AND Tooth Fairy. Those 3 examples were very central characters used for game/patch advertising.

while the game was aggressively marketing for characters that westerners like, CN was abandoning the game for these characters, so the game dropped the idea of omnipandering and just focuses on CN now and the formula worked for them, they recovered a lot of money in April and May.

Clothed women don't sell well but at the same time they were not trying to cater to the husbando market either. Jsyk they only release "safe" waifu now (humanoid, fair skinned, beautiful, gacha-standard body type) although still not as fanservice-y as other games (unless you count lady robot as naked I guess). Which make it even more funny, like which market are they trying to cater to lmao

It's from cn server patch. 1.7 - 1.9 will be all female units (and 1 little boy - doesn't count as husbando). I just checked R1999 sub and 2.0 is coming? Big patch so even less likely there will be any new husbando. Character named Joe? Must be nickname of Josephine 😂 Look, I'll be happy to be proven wrong since they make hot husbando units but future probability sure doesn't look good for people who play the game for husbando.

What they actually need to do is release balanced gender ratio. Like come on this game doesn't rely on fanservice anyway. It might sell better but balanced ratio keeps a game very well populated and talked about. I don't know the playerbase ratio right now, but just from my twt feed and subreddit it's way more balanced than usual. Maybe 4:6 or slightly more? Point is they better start doing it soon before many left, Getian is a step in a right direction and I hope they continue with not just the ratio but the uniqueness of the design as well.

China is turning it into a generic Waifu have though, it hasn't had any interesting characters for a while in the CN version, just pretty girls.
