MeaningfulChoices

Figma's great for UI mockups or flows, it's a pretty common tool. You also want to work in whatever tool you use to make UI assets, which might be Illustrator (or maybe PS) but it's more about what you like to use to create, and if you can use those you can use anything. You should also be vaguely familiar with Unity/Unreal just so you can work with them as necessary to add assets to a project and such. You might be expected to link an asset at some places, but you wouldn't be responsible for the code that makes it actually do anything.

Thank you for your help

Never forget that, no mater how good your design is and how the player will understand it at first glance, the tech your game is made in might not support your idea. Listen to your artists and engineer and work with them not against them.

True, appreciate your response

An online tool for UI/UX designers. Like adobe XD but better. It's mostly used by web designers.
