The deathmatch mode with the two opposing bases with snipers/machine gun nests and the causeway down the middle was so fun. We got the remake a few years later, booted up to play that and were so disappointed I think we returned it the same day.
I used to love the heist game mode too, also where you had to get eggs and turned into a dinosaur (I think) killing people with a samurai sword and also getting a headshot and a the head popping off with a fountain of blood was aweaome
lets be honest, in this state of the country there's no way a true remake will give it the justice it deserves. I see this only as an underground fan project to 4k up those old textures on an emulator
I had both. I thought OG also had a spoof on war games like medal of honor, in addition to other hilarious modes(as I recall)?
I recall playing the one with theCTF like one with eggs and the voices cracked up my self and my gf at the time.
So many multiplayer modes, I actually loved playing against the AI because they actually had something where the AI would learn your common strategies and get better over time.
„I am the big mighty *beep* and I‘m going to throw my *beep* at you! A huge supply of *beep* come from my *beep* *beep*! How about some *beep* you little *beep*!“
Will never reach the same level of funny as the original. That‘s one reason people hate it. They took one of the most memorable, raunchy 64 titles and neutered it by censoring it down to PG. At that point they should just have released Twelve Tales. That would have been just as fun.
Tbh I grew up with reloaded first and then played bad fur day. I definitely agree that it was weird Microsoft of all groups would censor it further than nintendo did.
It's kinda funny a lot of games back in those days had profanity filters in their campaigns. I know that's a multiplayer chat feature these days. but dialog single-player wise I don't think so.
>They touted it as being a multiplayer game,
No they didn't, they just bragged about redoing the multiplayer. The main draw was always a remastered Bad Fur Day, but that wasn't anything new, like the multiplayer was.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conker_Live_%26_Reloaded
They remastered it for Xbox in 2005. The graphics look pretty nice and they improved the controls. Unfortunately, they also censored a lot of things.
By fixing the controls, they also made the game super easy. In the N64 version, you had to stop, swing the frying pan, then run again. In the xbox version, you just kept running and swinging the nailbat. They didn't take this into account with any enemies, so all the melee encounters became super simplistic and easy.
The remake sucked. They changed the multi-player to the point it was unplayable. The original multi-player was fantastic. A remake or remaster with the original multi-player would be amazing.
Everytime I hear this song, I'm just reminded of the [dev playthrough](https://youtu.be/F9RXoYgWAeg?t=110) and then get really sad that they never finished it.
Back in the day my brother taught himself how to play the GMP song on the piano.
He wasn’t a piano player, never took any lessons or anything, he literally just poked at the keys for weeks until he found the right notes and memorized them. He’d play it on the piano at church and no one ever stopped him because no one knew what it was.
I think it did in 2012? But the real mvp of that game is the multi-player, playing as cavemen trying to steal a Dino egg and not be eaten, storming the beaches of Normandy against evil teddies, can't remember the other ones
IIRC, a someone made a sequel in the [Project Spark game.](https://www.gamespot.com/articles/conker-s-bad-fur-day-gets-a-sequel-of-sorts-in-pro/1100-6426035/)
It even has the original conker voice actor.
It does have a lot going on. It begins as a platformer, has a racing section, and then it turns into a shooter. I'm studying programming at University, and I was talking to a tutor about this game and its multiple gameplay styles. I asked "Isn't it weird or jarring that it's multiple games in one?" and his response is "It all works in the context of the game's story about a squirrel who is dragged into so many situations".
Since then, I've learned something about games with multiple styles. If it's backed up by context, it's in the game's favour, enhancing the experience.
Righto. Which one of you got this game when you were 7 years old because your parents thought it was a game for children, with the fuzzy cute lil squirrel on the front cover? Say aye
Went back and replayed some of it. Kinda shocked when the barn tools started telling the pitchfork to kill himself because he’s stupid and useless. Then he actually hanged himself. He doesn’t die because he doesn’t have a neck, but I’m not sure that type of humor would fly today. Conker is doomed to be a game of its time.
The only “canceling” rare got was when Microsoft bought them and nuts and bolts came out. If Microsoft actually put them to use they still might be releasing classics to this day.
I strongly disagree. I think it's perfectly fine humor. South Park pushes the envelop and they don't get canceled. It's all about sticking to it and not bowing out. I think the South Park gents have apologizes for one joke in their entire career.
It's funny how Dead Space gets a remake, and that game pushes the envelope on blood, violence, and gore. But god forbid we have a game that makes jokes. This crazy pc/ censorship era I believe will pass. Not sure when, but it will be soon. People need to understand how to take a joke.
South Park is basically grandfathered in because they’ve been doing it so long that when they started it was acceptable, and now it’s “oh, that’s just the way South Park is.” Which is good, but not a good indicator of how other properties would be received.
Ricky Gervais both is from that same time frame and has a substantial amount of people that won’t watch anything he does for precisely those reasons.
I have no problem with what’s in Conker, and I’m no fan of censorship in general, but you’re kidding yourself if you think Conker could get made today. Doubly so if you think it’s Nintendo that would make it.
Never say never. Just needs the right people to step up and do it. And Nintendo doesn't own the rights, Microsoft does. If Nintendo still did, yeah, you'd be 110% correct. A remake or sequel would never see the light of day. But Microsoft makes M rates games. So who knows. At the end of the day, you're probably right it won't happen. But let some of us think it out loud. It's not hurting anyone.
Who’s trying to “hurt anyone”? It’s just a discussion forum and I disagree with your premise. Nothing more.
And yes, I’m aware Microsoft owns the rights now. Still doubt it.
> but you’re kidding yourself if you think Conker could get made today.
sometimes i wonder if people actually believe the weird out-of-touch shit they say.
It would though. If they just made the fucking thing it would sell like crazy. And the wokies would cry, it would then get more attention and sell even more!
I always feel there's a reason Nintendo didn't bother and that MS gets too much of the blame for their downfall.
They released a lot of shitty games before Battletoads, which I personally think isn't a great game but it's their first BIG game and everything after and including it is quite well regarded. When I say a lot of shitty games, I mean that some of them are notoriously bad, LJN published bad, like Nightmare on Elm Street and Beetlejuice. Point being, they've not always released classics, they've done a lot of turds too, we just don't acknowledge them.
With the 90's they suddenly had a ton of really well regarded games that are still held to high praise even today. They absolutely piqued in the 90's, with 1999 and 2000 seemingly showing the beginning of their decline with a couple of games that whilst still quite well loved, definitely have their critics compared to previous releases (DK64, Jet Force Gemini, Perfect Dark and Banjo-Tooie, which I personally adore).
Obviously, they only released Star Fox Adventures on Gamecube which again, I personally loved, but I would be kidding myself to not acknowledge how poor it performed with audiences. Nintendo's interference probably didn't help here, shoehorning Star Fox into it thus disappointing all the Star Fox fans, but a lot of criticism for the game would have existed regardless of whether it was Dinosaur Planet or not.
Maybe Nintendo looked at them at this point with their past few releases not being as universally praised alongside the inside knowledge of what the team were working on in future, saw the signs of possible decline and thought "fuck it, they're on the decline. Have them, Microsoft...BTW, they don't own Donkey Kong, LOL, idiots".
Then we see everything after the acquisition and the quality continued to mostly decline in people's eyes. Again, I personally find a few to be absolute gems, I fucking adore Viva Pinata and liked Nuts and Bolts, but for the majority it was just a continuing trend that had been happening since '99/'00, except now you could blame Microsoft.
From what I hear of former Rare employees though, MS were pretty hands off and let them do pretty much what they wanted. Obviously they did, why wouldn't you let the devs who made some of their competitors best games for two of their consoles (SNES/N64) do what they do? I was quite shocked back in the day to find that Rare chose to do Kinect games, it wasn't Microsoft forcing them to.
Then I look at former Rare devs that worked on the classics I love and...Well, Yooka-Laylee certainly disappointed everybody. It clearly wasn't who owned Rare or who was no longer in the team that was the problem.
I think even if Nintendo bought Rare, they would still be a shadow of what they were in the 90's. I feel a lot of the "whataboutism" is because they let them go at the start of their decline when Rare was still putting out games that had flaws but were still enjoyed by most rather than letting them go after they had clearly dropped. If a few years passed and Rare got the chance to release a few more games, I imagine they wouldn't have been brilliant, nobody would question why Nintendo wasn't buying them and Microsoft might have taken a step back and said "yano what, keep them actually".
Valid points. I think the only issue I personally have with Microsoft is their complete inability to use any of the IP’s they spent a lot of money acquiring. There are quite a few excellent studios that could take up the mantle Rare used to herald. Now we have a lot of false starts and canceled titles.
Hopefully someone can recognize the potential and move on it at some point.
Sea of Thieves is an amazingly fun game that is marred by a lot of bugs, serverside issues, and a few bits of frustratingly bad design and mechanics. Great concept, but an execution that is overall good, but maddening at points.
I believe it did on Xbox One on the Rare Replay as that one is the N64 port. Not sure if that counts as a remaster though but the graphics looked good on my 4K 75 inch tv.
Sorry, closest we got was Conker: Live and Reloaded on OG XBOX (because MS bought Rare)
It looks leagues better than the N64 and fixed the asinine shooting controls (because the Xbox is a shooter console)
Only tradeoff is the Multiplayer was replaced with Xbox Live Battles
It was but heavily censored, I don't think any big studio would release a rated R game like conker nowadays or they would get a big shit storm from the offended clan
and how long ago was that? 2005? Can we stop bringing up the xbox remake. We want a NEWER one. One with TODAY's graphics, and controls. Is that hard to understand?
Yes, it is. How many remakes of one game do people need?!
OP wrote the title like there was NEVER a Conker remake made, when in fact there was and it was extremely good.
If they made another one today, it'd probably not only be censored but most likely missing half of the jokes completely, given how overly sensitive people seem to be nowadays.
Heck, there would probably people complaining about how the baby T-Rex is dying, or that the plants also have feelings and shouldn't be portrayed with huge "chests".
>e today, it'd probably not only be censored but most likely missing half of the jokes completely, given how overly sensitive people seem to be nowadays.
>
>Heck, there would probably people complaining about how the baby T
People will always find something to complain about. People love playing a victim. I just think it would be neat to see the game updated, that's all. Would it be a massive risk, maybe. Do some of the jokes go a little far, possible, although I think a lot of the content in Conker is pretty tame by today's standards. Look at South Park, some elements of Rick and Morty, And I'm sure if I dig enough, I could find plenty of examples of crude humor in popular IP's today.
For you it would be "nice to see the game updated", whereas to me it simply doesn't have to be, as Live & Reloaded looks great even if you play it at 480p on an OG XBOX hooked up to a 50"TV (I just finished it like that recently).
I think live and reloaded looks great. I never said it didn't. Although I'm not a fan of the direction they went with the art style for the remake. They went a little over board with the fur textures. I would of liked to see it more cartoonie if that makes sense.
The main issue I have with the remake is that it didn't bring back one of the original multiplayer games. I'm okay with the live and reloaded multiplayer. But at least include those original games with updated graphics and controls. The heist game was fun. Original colors was great. Even the raptor game was fun playing with friends. When the remake came out, and those games weren't apart of it, that hurt.
How exactly? Because it was censored? I've played original so many times that I've known what they were saying when it was censored anyway.
It had far better graphics, smoother gameplay etc.
It was vastly improved over the original overall.
If it was to be remade yet again, it would probably end up being censored again anyway, probably even more.
So the remake was "awful", because multiplayer was worse 🤦. Greatest thing about Conker was it's single player, which was vastly improved over the original given far better graphics, gameplay etc.
It'll never happen. Culture has changed in the past 20+ years, it won't be accepted. As someone who was born before the 9/11 era though, i would be on board for a remaster
I don’t think it wouldn’t be accepted for its offensive nature. Rather, I just think the majority of people that didn’t grow up with it just wouldn’t get it. Much of the humor comes from, at this point in time, 20+ year old pop culture references padded out with toilet humor. I’d absolutely love a remaster (especially if they bring back the multiplayer and revamp it to accommodate more than four players) but I don’t think it’d be all that successful. It’d have to be a Gamepass title IMO.
I mean, it last released in 2015 and it's crude and juvenile, not racist/homophobic so I dont see the problem. What's getting it canceled, the flower with the big tiddies?
It was edited for XBox.
I dont know if it would fall under cancel culture per se, but I do think 90% of the pop culture jokes would fly over genZ heads.
And there in lies the problem. The "market" would be a niche, and that's not exactly something many studios will go for. In their eyes, the money needed to remaster this would be better spent on a product that can appeal to a far larger audience.
They would target the ones who buy games. Most genX and genY have stopped consoles. While there are some who go into collecting, most of that money is in the second-hand market. A remaster would totally depend on genZ and whatever the next generation is buying it
People were a LOT more prudish pre-911. The Simpsons was controversial in the early 90s. Things like South Park were pushing boundaries by the end of the 90s but people wouldn't even bat an eye at that stuff now.
If you game on pc, most emulator have graphics settings for things like A-A and resolution. Most game I emulate look crazy different, smoothed edges and fixed frame rate inconsistencies
It was a fantastic game, but I think it was of an era, especially with all the late 90’s dated pop culture references. Nowadays, the edgy raunchy humor is done to death and not quite as novel as it was back then.
I don’t know how you would make Conker an interesting character for modern audiences since all he does is basically make doofy faces at the camera and make some off-hand raunchy remarks. He might as well be Duke Nukem, but that character was more memorable despite not aging well.
Bro my parents got me this game for Christmas my mom said the squirrel is so cute . I remember telling her there is a boss who is a giant poop and she took the game away before I could finish … fucking white people ..
Remake this so I have a reason to beat that piece of shit
How about we remaster it for a system that's mostly adults and censor it, cutting out stuff that was included on a Nintendo system! That'll be awesome
Oh, already happened?
I loved Live and Reloaded as a kid but after playing the N64 version a few years ago on an emulator, Conker is "one of those" games that just wouldn't work anymore solely from the writing.
For one, sexy Squirrels and sunflowers, lots of poo and pissing on stuff alongside a pitchfork attempting to commit suicide? Yea...None of that bothers me but I would be a fool to think that would be okay with today's audiences. They should only remake this if they're planning to cancel Rare and Microsoft.
The rest of the humour is largely just "remember this? You know this, yea?". When I played it on an emulator it wasn't the dated visuals and gameplay that put me off, it was that so much of the "humour" was just overdone references to shit that was older than I was. Conker's brand of reference based humour dates it so much, it just isn't funny...Fuck, the ending was literally just "then a bunch of shit literally ripped from movies happens". Are Matrix references still cool? Not really, and I can't imagine many people want to sit through a game where 1/4 of it relies on that.
It's almost devoid of humour as it barely has any original jokes, it's just "look at this thing you know. That's the joke, that you know it".
Conker is a relic of the past and it's best it stay there.
No it's a classic you should enjoy it in the style of its time like gex enter the gecko and banjo Kazooie they are masterpieces within their own. If anything they should start making the old systems again and re-release the games with option to custom order specific games that aren't popular enough to remake. The only change should be the console and cartridges should be made better maybe cds or cartridges like the d.s. that can withstand many decades if take care of properly.
They would nuture it, I highly doubt they would release an unedited remaster with some of the "problematic" jokes it has. It's funny, because the jokes aren't even bad, but all it takes is one Twitter post complaining about the fat bitch jokes, or the tediz.
Hmm... I remember this did get a visual makeover on the original Xbox, Live and Reloaded, although it got censored somewhat too.
And the fun multiplayer was replaced with an awful battlefield clone.
The OG multi player was one of the best multiplayer games of all time.

I loved the DDay level! Saving Private Conker

I bought it thinking that multiplayer stayed the same as the 64. Big let down back in the day.
... ^I ^liked ^the ^multiplayer
DOZENS OF US!!
So did I.
One of the biggest let downs of my gaming life. The original multiplayer was absolutely amazing
So many multiplayer modes, I actually loved playing against the AI because they actually had something where the AI would learn your common strategies and get better over time.
ConkGPT?
Wtf I loved the remakes multiplayer. It was amazing.
Me who enjoyed it for the story and how fun it was. Tbh I don't see the hate for it
„I am the big mighty *beep* and I‘m going to throw my *beep* at you! A huge supply of *beep* come from my *beep* *beep*! I find it ironic how Nintendo is now…. Try playing Peach Pinball in public…
This was the biggest travesty for me. They touted it as being a multiplayer game, but the multiplayer was fucking awful.
>They touted it as being a multiplayer game, No they didn't, they just bragged about redoing the multiplayer. The main draw was always a remastered Bad Fur Day, but that wasn't anything new, like the multiplayer was.
Honestly, other than The Lyrics of the Great Mighty Poo song, people really overblow how much they censored.
If it were censor beeps and not fart sounds, people probably wouldn't be as annoyed
The graphics for that it still hold up well. Shame it was censored. Otherwise it would have been good to have in Rare Replay
It is in rare replay though
The N64 version is. I was talking about the Xbox remaster.
The Xbox remaster can be purchased digitally on Xbox One, Series S and Series X.
I didn’t know they remade it on the Xbox, or that there even was an Xbox version
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conker_Live_%26_Reloaded They remastered it for Xbox in 2005. The graphics look pretty nice and they improved the controls. Unfortunately, they also censored a lot of things.

In the xbox version, you just kept running and swinging the nailbat. They didn't take this into account with any enemies, so all the melee encounters became super simplistic and easy.
IIRC, the replaced the shotgun part with a much more friendly and forgiving control scheme .
They replaced the frying pan with a bat. A bat! Hearing the PANG! from hitting enemies was funny. And they took that away.
Honestly the bleeps made it a bit funnier in my personal opinion but I understand why you would want proper profanity in your squirrel boy platformer
The remake sucked. They changed the multi-player to the point it was unplayable. The original multi-player was fantastic. A remake or remaster with the original multi-player would be amazing.
Unplayable? Nah...
I AM THE GREAT MIGHTY POO!
And I'm gonna throw my shit at you Have some Caviar
> A huge supply of tish > Comes from my chocolate starfish
How about some scat You little twat?
Your butt?
That's right, my butt.
my butt..........**MY BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!** \*glass shatters\*
Oh what a world, what a world..
Please!!! I need to see the Great Mighty Poo in 4k HD 60fps glory!
Everytime I hear this song, I'm just reminded of the [dev playthrough](https://youtu.be/F9RXoYgWAeg?t=110) and then get really sad that they never finished it.

Real American hero.
I listen to this song at least once a month
LMAO 🤣
Great Mighty Poo RTX On
Liquid physics and high definition textures and models would make it look so detailed it’d make us all vomit. And that’s a good thing I guess
I think it did in 2012? But the real mvp of that game is the multi-player, playing as cavemen trying to steal a Dino egg and not be eaten, storming the beaches of Normandy against evil teddies, can't remember the other ones
Heist was my jam.
i remember suicide teddies at least thats how i played the multiplayer teddies
Bank robber weasels multiplayer too
I'd prefer to get *Conker's Other Bad Fur Day*.
IIRC, a someone made a sequel in the [Project Spark game.](https://www.gamespot.com/articles/conker-s-bad-fur-day-gets-a-sequel-of-sorts-in-pro/1100-6426035/) It even has the original conker voice actor.
Dare I ask?
The cancelled sequel to Conker.
This game was so far ahead of its time, and it actually played really well considering all the different hijinx that go on
It does have a lot going on. It begins as a platformer, has a racing section, and then it turns into a shooter. I'm studying programming at University, and I was talking to a tutor about this game and its multiple gameplay styles. Totally agree and good luck with your studies!
If you like this idea check out Evo land 1 and 2 those games are fucking awesome and have something for everyone
Remaster those sunflower tiddies!
A sunflower? Yeah a sunflower with big tits
Outsource just that character to Tecmo and Team Ninja.
Ah “context sensitive” I get it
*hello. It’s me again. Mister Scarecrow Birdie.*
"Were your parents related before they were married?"
You love manual long time.
You ever find your Mepsi Pax?
Well how many bloody Grim Reapers have you seen before, mate?
Righto. Which one of you got this game when you were 7 years old because your parents thought it was a game for children, with the fuzzy cute lil squirrel on the front cover? Say aye
I was so absurdly young when I played this. I loved it.

Between that and the references to 90s movies that most people under 20 won’t get, you might have a point
Thats literally the funniest scene in the whole game.
“You-hoo-hoo stoopid bastard” *echoes*
Oh man you bring back memories lol, but yeah this wouldn't be acceptable in today era, the game and the developers/creators would be hard cancel.

I’ll take “things from the 90’s that got ruined by Nintendo not purchasing all of Rare” for 1000

Imagine the switch with Goldeneye on it...Nintendo better be kicking themselves
It just got goldeneye last week…
Is…. Is this a joke?
I can imagine it easily. I played it on my Switch yesterday.
OG xbox version looked amazing. Honestly polish that one up bring back all the versions of the mutiplayer. and a sequel would be good.
And uncensored, can’t believe N64 got away with a lot more than Xbox.
The censorship destroyed me as an excited adult who wanted to replay the classic.
I still have my N64 and this game!!! I love this game!!!
I figured out how to hook up my n64 and ps1 to my flatscreen smart tv just so I could replay this and the original blood omen.
I believe it did on Xbox One on the Rare Replay as that one is the N64 port. Not sure if that counts as a remaster though but the graphics looked good on my 4K 75 inch tv.
Sorry, closest we got was Conker: Live and Reloaded on OG XBOX (because MS bought Rare) It looks leagues better than the N64 and fixed the asinine shooting controls (because the Xbox is a shooter console) Only tradeoff is the Multiplayer was replaced with Xbox Live Battles
and censored
Censoring all the profanity broke my heart
Doesn't outweigh the pros though
>Sorry, closest we got was Conker: Live and Reloaded on OG XBOX (because MS bought Rare) The Xbox One/Series also has the original game running in HD.
I just want a PC port of Rare Replay.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LwdoSiZZEo
Live and reloaded?
This time around it'll be my KIDS that walk in when the flower is getting....pollinated :*(
I would like to see that, but I don’t think it will happen, Conker’s BFD was a product of its time.
Agreed, this is one of my favorite games of all time. I miss it.
The Xbox remake remaster would be welcomed
100% agree, would be even better without some censorship.
I'm sure they would censor the hell out of it just like they did with the remaster.
pretty sure the rare replay version is kinda basically what you want on the hd front
They already remade it. Make sequels or new games. Not remakes.
It was but heavily censored, I don't think any big studio would release a rated R game like conker nowadays or they would get a big shit storm from the offended clan
Bring back the squirrels vs teddies mode. Played the hell out of that mode in Live n Reloaded.
> atleast Still not a word.
I wish it at least got ported
Love this game. Still have my N64 copy in the loft.
Restore the cut content and de-censor it and it'll be perfect, with or without HD graphics!
It was remade on OG Xbox AND has an HD re-release as part of the Rare Replay on Xbox One
For sure would make a bunch of people angry
Unreal Engine 4 conker. That'd be cool.
The entire N64 game library needs a remaster
Conkers girlfriend getting obliterated in hd love the idea
Nah, Twitter won't allow it.
I love this game
Dude, there was a complete remake of it on OG XBOX 🤦!
and how long ago was that?
> >Heck, there would probably people complaining about how the baby T People will always find something to complain about.
It was bad though
How exactly? Because it was censored? I've played original so many times that I've known what they were saying when it was censored anyway. It had far better graphics, smoother gameplay etc. It was vastly improved over the original overall. If it was to be remade yet again, it would probably end up being censored again anyway, probably even more.
They butchered the multiplayer completely, it was a different game
Oh no, the single player is ruined because of the multiplayer...
So the remake was "awful", because multiplayer was worse 🤦. Greatest thing about Conker was it's single player, which was vastly improved over the original given far better graphics, gameplay etc.
Well we have an "HD" remaster Already in "Live and Reloaded".
The Xbox has both the remaster and the original running in HD.
It'll never happen. Culture has changed in the past 20+ years, it won't be accepted. As someone who was born before the 9/11 era though, i would be on board for a remaster
It’s on Xbox Game Pass as part of the Rare Replay if you have one.
GenZ wouldn't be their market
And there in lies the problem. The "market" would be a niche, and that's not exactly something many studios will go for. In their eyes, the money needed to remaster this would be better spent on a product that can appeal to a far larger audience.
They would target the ones who buy games. Most genX and genY have stopped consoles. While there are some who go into collecting, most of that money is in the second-hand market. A remaster would totally depend on genZ and whatever the next generation is buying it
And the cogs. I feel like the cogs would get cancelled too.
There's a scene where farm tools goad a pitchfork into trying to kill itself, that's probably not going to fly in 2023
People were a LOT more prudish pre-911. The Simpsons was controversial in the early 90s. Things like South Park were pushing boundaries by the end of the 90s but people wouldn't even bat an eye at that stuff now.
Nah it would be fine.
*Oh yeah sure these days everyone’s so easily offended, they’ll probably try to cancel the game because a cow drinks too much prune juice.* ^/s
AMAZING GAME!!! All the movie parodies were insane!
They did a remake for the xbox but tailored the jokes... It wasn't a good day when I bought it.
I thought it was an absolutely hilarious game as a immature teenager...I'm not sure if it would hit the same now that I'm an adult.
You sound like fun man.
If you game on pc, most emulator have graphics settings for things like A-A and resolution. Most game I emulate look crazy different, smoothed edges and fixed frame rate inconsistencies
If you game on Xbox, you an also have the game running in better quality.
This would have been awesome
That game was a masterpiece.
Best game ever
It was a fantastic game, but I think it was of an era, especially with all the late 90’s dated pop culture references. Nowadays, the edgy raunchy humor is done to death and not quite as novel as it was back then. I don’t know how you would make Conker an interesting character for modern audiences since all he does is basically make doofy faces at the camera and make some off-hand raunchy remarks. He might as well be Duke Nukem, but that character was more memorable despite not aging well.
Would prefer a sequel
It was cancelled
It should be added to game pass, I mean they did it with Goldeneye.
The N64 version of the game (running in HD) is on Game Pass.
Omg I've been talking about how they should re-release this gem
the XBOX remaster was already a hefty downgrade from N64 Version. Still own this gem :D
Bro my parents got me this game for Christmas my mom said the squirrel is so cute . I remember telling her there is a boss who is a giant poop and she took the game away before I could finish … fucking white people .. Remake this so I have a reason to beat that piece of shit
They'll have to censor half of it
How about we remaster it for a system that's mostly adults and censor it, cutting out stuff that was included on a Nintendo system! That'll be awesome Oh, already happened?
Conker Live and Reloaded on the Xbox has some of the best Multiplayer.
I just threw up in my mouth a bit.
They did that for the Xbox, and it turned out badly.
They did it on 360
Conker: Live & Reloaded is actually an OG Xbox title.
Only if it's released strictly on switch lol
No, no, no. Don’t encourage a remaster of a masterpiece. Instead, ask for a sequel, in todays day and age, it would be a hit.
They already effd it up just the same way they bastardized banjo-tooie 😭😭😭
Fuck off.
So... you just want porn on your PS5? I mean, I'm not against it, but I feel like there's easier ways lol
They would nuture it, I highly doubt they would release an unedited remaster with some of the "problematic" jokes it has. It's funny, because the jokes aren't even bad, but all it takes is one Twitter post complaining about the fat bitch jokes, or the tediz.
I never understood the like for this game. It played like crud and the "comedy" was fart jokes.
Nah, I think it begs a sequel with updated cultural references.
Bad Fur Day was like a child's idea of what an adult game should be.
Inb4 some dipshit claims “you couldn’t make this in todays WOKE culture”
I hate this dumbass website
