You know TBH if you were bad at games and had no prior experience I could see this being an okay experience. Modern games seem very difficult for adults with - gaming experience to get into (I'm talking so little experience they can't move the camera and their character at the same time, or have to stop moving the camera to shoot then move the camera again to shoot somewhere else levels of noob)
it’s shocking how large of an amount of the people playing games as a whole play like that. I’d bet for every person commenting about games on reddit, there’s 4 playing games the way you described. It’s part of why some games stick around and make crazy sales regardless of bad people in the gaming community view it as - some players won’t buy a new game if they aren’t even sure they’ll be able to play it. if the only thing you buy every year is madden for example, jumping into an FPS for the first time might not even seem worth the effort
Wait a minute I already explain months or weeks I can’t remember which date… For context : I stop playing new so called modern multiplayer or coop based games does not have most details ever just piece of shit cash grab and live service….
I have a buddy that got back into gaming at 44 and it was rough for him playing like Skyrim. Breath of the wild really got his joystick work up to par and he now beat God of war.
I can't speak for anyone else, but for me it's the cost. I recently got Tekken 8 on PS5. It's about £65 on PSN. I was able to get a physical copy for £46. When brand new AAA digital games can compete with this, I'll be interested.
Not all technical advances are good, if you want a world where copyright holders can yoink your copy of need for speed: underground 19 from your ps8's digital library due to some song's copyright expiring for the sake of "advances" or convenience then you're pretty silly
Nice straw man you got there. If they yank a product off the market then the multiplayer servers will be removed. At that point if you want to play a single player or local game mode you can just download a copy of the game from the high seas.
They probably have people doing a cost: benefit analysis of the entire modern catalogue if this is their new direction. There's no harm entertaining the idea but I can't imagine this one would pass the test.
Christ, what a POS game. Taking risks in a genre you know is one thing. Taking risks in something you know zero fucks about - co-op shooters - is a whole 'nother beast. What a complete failure by all involved, even Papa Phil. Xbox should have stepped in years ago to control this narrative.
I bought the new XCom game, chimera squad. When i loaded it up and the intro movie and all the character animations were 16bit era animated stills, i said fuck it and refunded before that 2 hour window was up.
Imaging if the next Civilization dropped without high production value animation, and instead threw rough first draft animations at you for building wonders. Concept art should never make it to production. Thats the level that Firaxis has sunk too. I don't got a lot of hope for their future products. They've probably released a few since chimera squad but i've not even cared at all to check. This is coming from a guy who has played Civ and Xcom since the Microprose days. Fucking, the washed up present day form of Microprose has higher production value than Firaxis now!
>you know zero fucks about - co-op shooters - is a whole 'nother beast. What a complete failure by all involved, even Papa Phil. Xbox should have stepped in years ago to control this narrative.
I can't remember the last time i was that disappointed in a game this much. Prey 2017 is one of my favorite games and i was initially very excited for this. I thought how could a team that made one of the best games of last gen screw up. Then I played it and holy fuck...... I cannot believe the team that made Prey made this. Absolutely wild.
Just completely shit the bed and - perhaps - permanently ruined their reputation. I'd imagine whatever they make next would have to be an absolute slam dunk, man, or... honestly, I'm not sure. They're under the Xbox umbrella, so I imagine money isn't going to be an issue.
Yea for sure. I have no idea what they were thinking with Redfall. Its open world is so desolate and boring its unbelievable. Its like a AI made the game. I honestly don't think any amount of work could turn Redfall around
I think it's XBox's fault the game is so shit. It was clearly rushed out the door to appease Game Pass owners and bolster the numbers of high profile games releasing day 1.
I've never played an Arkane game with so many easy to spot bugs on launch. They were clearly pushed with a gun to their head to release by their owner/publisher.
They delayed the game a full year from when Bethesda originally planned to release it. If there's anything Microsoft should have done it's cancel the game, let Arkane work on something else.
In all honesty, I think they did.
I would assume when they were acquired. Redgall got put on ice and Arkanewasn't going to get big money till it released.
So they got a little bit of money and built Deathloop instead of finishing Redfall.
Not sure if it's true. Just the feeling I got especially considering release dates of the two games.
Arkane is two separate studios. One in Lyon that created Deathloop, and one in Austin, which created Redfall. In theory they could have operated as a support studio for a few months to finish Deathloop, but I don't think it's that deep.
Arkane Austin lost around 70% of it's staff from Prey because people didn't want to make a live service co-op looter shooter. Losing that many people during development was always going to lead to a shit game.
Ah! Thanks for the information!
Yeah that makes a lot of sense.
I admit. I took the bait for Redfall. I held hope all the way up to having it in my hands. Aesthetically it had appeal. I still think there was a fun game somewhere in the ether of the idea, but trying to force creativity to do anything it's not inspired to has never worked. The situation you describe for Arkane Austin is case in point.
The difference in quality and polish between the two games was light-years.
> I think it's XBox's fault the game is so shit.
Xbox big sin here was asking $70 for it and not pulling the plug.
Zenimax is where most the blame lies. Think about the wider view of Zenimax and how many of their studios in recent years put out things almost no one wanted or massively moved away from what made certain franchises enjoyable. A few gems came out during that timeframe but everything else was panned pretty hard. And a lot of multiplayer, open world, live service pushes came during that time.
FO76, Wolfenstein whatever the name of it is again (the co-op one), Redfall, etc. Iirc even Deathloop was the result of some internal pushes.
Actually MS had nothing to do with it. The game was a disaster to begin with and the devs were hoping that the game would get cancelled when MS bought them but MS was trying to be hands off and just let Bethesda do their thing so it released as you see it
My noobie boyfriend loved this game. I could definitely see all of the issues, but he just wanted to play coop and shoot vampires and bad guys. He would give it 5 stars if he could. We’re replaying it on the Eclipse difficulty now. Definitely tougher and feels more fun to play.
Runs waaaaay better. I played on both PC and Xbox at launch. PC was unplayable with broken DLSS, Xbox and PC both had decals not loading. Now Xbox is 60 fps and feels great. PC has some traversal stutter but it’s playing way better now than on my first playthrough.
My biggest gripe with the game was how it felt low budget. There are no cutscenes in the game. I mean, there are, but they feel like slideshows with moving images. The game is also lacking in its story. There’s a plot happening but it feels too thin and you can never bond with any of the characters. Gameplay when I played on the hard difficulty (after the main ai update) was still a bit easy for me. The new game + mode is definitely harder and feels like an actual challenge. The gameplay is fun when it’s played with a friend because it can get a little crazy with everyone using their power ups strategically. I feel that the game feels like a huge let down mostly because of the amazing cinematics the game was presented with in the trailer (a cinematic miles better than any you’ll find in the actual game.)
TLDR: The game doesn’t feel like it had a good budget. It’s definitely not a 10 but it can be a fun coop if you pretend it isn’t from Arkane.
They are considerably better actually, though still not what you'd expect from a triple A title.
The worst parts of the experience for me were that the difficulty randomly oscillates between so easy it isn't fun to do hard it isn't fun and there are like 8 guns, all of which you'll see within the first two hours.
And people still believe him when he lies about the huge titles they have coming all because they genuinely believe he's just like everyone else. Crazy that people find a billionaire relatable just because he plays games lol (and honestly I'm not convinced he isn't just letting his kids use his account and pretending he's a gamer).
Microsoft doesn't need Xbox to exist. It's just a little plaything project to them.
Sony NEEDS Playstation on the other hand so they can't afford to carpet bomb like MS has.
I can believe it was greenlit, look at the current state of Rocksteady and other studios.
The baffling part is no one ever pulls the plug on projects that go this way.
Sure, but we also have plenty of examples of steaming piles with little to no redeeming qualities that still somehow get rammed through as well as dev hell titles that will never end up "good" or complete that the companies go all sunk cost fallacy on and ship damaging their reputations in the process.
Industry's got too many delusional MBAs that count on "gamers buying it anyway, they'll buy anything".
> gamers buying it anyway, they'll buy anything
I mean they're not wrong
Those games still sadly sell
Look at starfield, that shit deserves nothing but it made a huge profit.
Gamers in general are the dumbest audience out there and they have 0 self control.
If any can afford the 4000$ skin/waifu they will and doom the rest with them.
There's a saying that goes something like "People get, what people deserve", these utter garbage games are results of people not standing their ground and having no self control.
I mean if it were solely that, we wouldn't also have these very same games utterly flopping. Yeah Starfield sold, but Redfall, Avengers, and Rocksteady's latest all look like straight flops.
Listen, Suicide Squad is not an amazing game, but you can tell a lot of effort was put into production value, you can tell they took time to refine gameplay elements. You can tell they spent a lot of money on VA and cinematics. The game was out of touch with what consumers wanted but it wasn't something that had minimal effort out in to it. Redfall has no redeeming qualities, it is significantly worse than Suicide Squad.
That may be true, but I'm so over the GaaS co-op whatever trend to try and bother trying to "rank them" on "quality" or lack-thereof isn't happening. Ultimately it's still a decline for a studio, still motivated primarily by out of touch executives wanting to be the "success story", and it's still just kind of shit watching flops put previously great studios in precarious positions.
This game was forced on the studio by the publisher. Nobody gets into game development to make GaaS looter shooters, but publishers seemed to be locked into the idea for a few years. Heck, even PlayStation was going that way before Jim Ryan got the boot
I know people at Crystal Dynamics, and despite what's been said publicly, making a GaaS Avengers game was imposed by Square Enix, and not something that anyone at CD was excited about.
"forced" lol. Arkane literally exists to make games other people tell them to make. The only games they've made that were original IPs were Deathloop and maybe Arx Fatalis. Everything else was something brought to them by another company. Dishonored was Bethesda's idea, Prey was Bethesda's idea. Dark Messiah was Ubisofts idea.
This is what Arkane does primarily. Make games other people want them to make. There is no defending them for how it turned out. It is entirely their own fault for making an objectively terrible game.
Exclusives are stupid anyway. Like I'm a huuuuge Halo fan but if that came to ps5, I'd be super happy for the ps5 players. I already have the MCC on PC (in addition to Xbox One), but if the MCC, plus Halo Infinite and Halo 5 came to ps5, I might just buy all 3 on my ps5.
Think of all the PlayStation noobs we can destroy in those first couple months and feel more skilled than we actually are!
Release it you cowards, my bloodlust demands it!
Obviously no competition is bad but it's not like it's anyone's fault besides Microsoft. They acted like they were the ones winning the console war with all of the dumb ass decisions they made. Most out of touch company in the industry.
This misconception is all too common. The highest price somthing will have is what the people are willing to pay for it. Xbox is not stopping PS prices from rising. An example I like is Apple and all other companies. Their laptops, desktop stands, and other things are priced at a ridiculous range, despite proper competition and better alternatives. If prices were to rise, it's up to us to not buy them. $70 games was my stopping point when indie games have been released cheaper and better in quality.
Ahh the clasic, "we've seen it". Would you like to give specific examples ? Your reply just makes you look like you're projecting your lobotomy on anyone who would disagree.
It’s actually kinda fun. Not full price fun. But decent enough. It was an abomination the first few months though. Probably one of the worst. Still it’s not the top bad
I was going to comment the same, started playing again since the patches and the game has improved a rather lot. I imagine if it released as it is now then people would have not been nearly as hard on it.
It has a very cool atmosphere and setting, cool weapons and fps gameplay and can also be a lot of fun in co op. Shame it got pushed out the door before it was finished.
If they made the vamps actually threatening, that would have been cool.
The buildup to the first vamp was amazing. Fighting cultists, the worlds all fucked up. It's dark, you're in a fire station, *something is in the basement*.
Then you get down there, fire one flare at the thing and it falls over. Fucking disappointment.
I mean, we wouldn't have gotten games like Demon's Souls (or subsequent Soulslikes) without exclusivity. So there are some benefits.
I just wish it was limited to timed exclusivity. They want to make something new and cool to sell their shit, fine, but it doesn't need to be locked behind that platform permanently.
There's nothing stopping any of them making unique games that are cross-platform. They just know if they don't, they'll sell more consoles. They choose the route that gets the most money from a consumer. If you, a consumer, support it - then you're just dumb & enjoy the whole console war tribalism.
What a brainlet take. Nintendo makes money from switch market place. If they release on PC you would still throw a bitchy fit asking them to release on steam instead of their own market place. You want to play their games then buy their hardware.
It's so bizarre to me how consistently 343 drops the ball when it comes to telling a competent scifi story. All of their games feel like they're missing large chunks of story.
Had to read the Kilo 5 Trilogy of Halo books to figure out who the hell Jul M'dama (don't recall the spelling) was and why I should care. They just kill him off in a cutscene in the first mission but his story is actually super interesting.
Oh I know I actually enjoyed Halo 5 multiplayer for a decent length of time after launch but ya the campaign and story was terrible and the marketing backlash lol
Its really funny how there is complete radio silence from Arkane.
After the launch they were making promise they will not abandon it and will wwork to make it game that it should have been. After that we have seen one patch that fixed some of absolute game stopper bugs....then nothing
They've released 3 patches so far and released several hot fixes this year, the most recent being less than 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure where you're getting your info from.
Yeah, I can't imagine anyone is waiting excitedly for Redfall Update 4. If I were them I would have rushed out the hero pass they sold to people and moved on, but I can at least respect them wanting to fix up the game somewhat first.
Me too. I'm for standing by your product, but that has to be a hard road as a developer knowing that the hard work you are putting in to fix the situation (one that you didn't cause) is going to see limited eyes.
I just looked on Arkane's website. The front page still says this:
Arkane Austin is currently developing the upcoming title Redfall™, led by Studio/Creative Director Harvey Smith and Co-Creative Director Ricardo Bare. Coming May 2, 2023, Redfall will release exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC and will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
So they haven't updated the front page of their own website in nearly a year to reflect this release!
Blame MS/Xbox whose orders Arkane have to jump to. Having these giant publishers who own dozens of studios and will kill anything that isn't generating 100x ROI is souring the AAA industry.
The game was way in development before MS deal closed. Like the one wolfenstein game, the launch version of FO76, Rage 2, Ghostwire, and etc. this is mostly Zenimax.
I mean you can get a PC that’s about 2x better than a console for $700-800. Most people just don’t want to bother, which is fair. You don’t need to spend $3000, and I know because my pc is like $3000, and it’s the absolute top of the line.
I mean, you'd just get a PC at that point. Consoles have nearly identical hardware and pricing. There's almost no difference in terms of performance or cost between a PS5 and a Series X. At that point it genuinely wouldn't make a difference which one you bought. You'd basically be buying it for whichever controller and/or UI you prefer.
We arguably wouldn't have gotten the Soulslike genre without it. We possibly wouldn't have gotten Halo (and subsequently COD) without it. So there are some benefits to it. But permanent exclusivity is entirely pointless, timed exclusivity should be the way for first party games. PlayStation players get God of War a year before Xbox. Xbox players get Halo a year before PS. You retain the motivation for companies to produce quality content while not locking that content to a platform permanently. Seems like a reasonable middle ground that is beneficial all around.
You’re getting downvoted but I’m genuinely curious to why this bothers everyone so much. I’m honestly not sure what I’m missing. If people have access to the game (Xbox users have access to Xbox studios games already) then why are people mad that other people are getting access?
It’s so weird people want to gatekeep games to a specific console and actually get upset when other demographic or players get access to said games when it literally doesn’t affect them. Who gives a shit if things like starfield are going to be on PlayStation. It’s not like it’s being taken away from Xbox people. I literally don’t get the outrage of this
It’s going to hurt competition ultimately. Lots of gamers (like myself) will probably move to PS5. I genuinely prefer most Xbox exclusives and eco system, but if they are available on PS5 it’s a no brainer purchase.
With a mass exodus to PS, they will be the only real player in the console market. Which means they don’t have to release their games on PC, they don’t have to worry about improving pricing or services either. They own the console space completely, and they can do whatever makes them the most profit - typically this has never worked out for consumers
maybe because it's so bad PS doesn't want it nor allow it on the PS
and i don't think PS players really want Starfield since we can all see the state of that game and frankly empty/boring it is
and most have a better version of game, no man sky
Listen, unpopular opinion here. I like Redfall. I like the concept of it, I like the exploration of it. I feel the map needed to be bigger, the animations better, and instead of named heros with unchangeable classes, they could have given us more freedom in who we played as.
Xbox still has to make the 1 year DLC roadmap for Redfall for those players that bought that one edition that came with future DLC. Something tells me they’ll just ignore it hoping people forget & get no lawsuit & or the DLC will be bare minimum fodder
Hey remember when people made fun of JRPG heroes looking like they rolled through a garage sale belonging to Rob Liefeld characters?
Welp, at least they didn't go dumpster diving of the homeless Cobra rejects.
But seriously it feels like they were trying too hard with an action figure aesthetic here.
Game so bad that even Microsoft won't try to get a few bucks out of porting it.
Also frankly what it is with these days... a game with four "diverse" characters with guns posing are universally shit. Redfall, Suicide Squad, Destiny 2 (who are edgy and only have 3 characters posing), Overwatch 2...
If only game companies would stop trying to copy the fad of few years ago (Fortnite, Apex Legends) and instead would try to invent something new...
They fucked up my most look forward to game of the year and Idk I'll ever be able to forgive what could have been if they just focused on singleplayer or even coop and just really drove home the narrative and gameplay. I didn't need looters shooter mechanics when it's the same 5 guns anyways. Should have been am immersion Sim and they could have added 1 extra player for coop because that's innovative in the space. Nah they clubbed it so hard.
Ya just keeping pushing MC to make less money. There loseing sells for system but there making a lot off of game pass. Why not let them make money off of sony players.. ps do y'all even remember how much mk said thy would not make off of starfield being on PSN it wasn't a small number.
Why would y’all want exclusive games on any console. Games should be available for all players on all platforms. Exclusivity is the worst thing to happen for gaming. Cross-platform with no exclusivity would create a unification in the gaming community. It should never be about which games are on which platform or what store, it should be about what console performs better. Make better consoles, more players will buy the console. Make exclusive games…less people can buy the game.
You say that but some corpo executive is going to think it's a good idea
After all, they do believe because this didn't sell or motivate console sales, physical gaming is outright dead.

Nah, digital games in general are more preferred especially on Xbox. PC further process that being digital only isn't that big of a deal.
I fucking HATE digital only shit
Your opinion on this matter is so loud for reasons I cannot determine. What fuels this hatred?
I can't speak for anyone else, but for me it's the cost. I recently got Tekken 8 on PS5. It's about £65 on PSN. I was able to get a physical copy for £46. When brand new AAA digital games can compete with this, I'll be interested.
He likes to rub the physical media on his body and ree about advances in technology
Man can’t even HATE things anymore without being judged 😡

“Why do you hate owning nothing”?
You still have all right to the game, it's licensed to you in the same manner a disk is. The only difference, where the license-key is stored.
Lol, lmao.
>>>Lol, lmao. Redundancy is your strong suit I see..
It’s a common meme but sure.
You're right. Steam is the go to for PC gaming for the majority of people.
This would be on the same level as Sony re-releasing Morbius in theaters.
I loved the part when John Redfall said “it’s reddin’ time!” and tripped and fell down the stairs
I thought John Redfall proceeded to redfall all over the place after announcing that it was indeed reddin' time?
Tomorrow we’re going to wake up and see Microsoft announce Redfall will be the only Xbox exclusive to come to PlayStation
They probably have people doing a cost: benefit analysis of the entire modern catalogue if this is their new direction. There's no harm entertaining the idea but I can't imagine this one would pass the test.

I scan’t believe that game companies are telling their stories via unanimated still photos in 2024.
If they are they better be indie games made by a handful of people not triple A studios with limitless budgets.
Yeah I generally don't mind them in AA or smaller company made games.
Or at least make it just a character with dialogue box like Hades and Persona do
I bought the new XCom game, chimera squad. If he likes killing vampires evil west could be good, sort of like doom but with a focus on melee combat a bit more
That’s a great recommendation. It was fun for me but too difficult for him when we tried it. We should give it another shot soon.
I enjoyed the first 15 seconds. Pretty good
Xbox doesn't even want it
nobody does. If they say they do, they are a liar.
As a ps player sincerely keep that shit 😂
I wish i could fail as many times as Phil Spencer and still keep my job
Seems to be a yearly occurance that he says Xbox needs to do better with it's first party titles.
You can keep this gem, Xbox .
Is it a true exclusive if its on pc also?
what does Microsoft make.. one guess
Dead ass can’t believe this game was green lit.
I can believe it was greenlit, look at the current state of Rocksteady and other studios. The baffling part is no one ever pulls the plug on projects that go this way.
i mean they do we just don't hear about the canceled projects most of the time
Sure, but we also have plenty of examples of steaming piles with little to no redeeming qualities that still somehow get rammed through as well as dev hell titles that will never end up "good" or complete that the companies go all sunk cost fallacy on and ship damaging their reputations in the process. Industry's got too many delusional MBAs that count on "gamers buying it anyway, they'll buy anything".
> gamers buying it anyway, they'll buy anything I mean they're not wrong Those games still sadly sell Look at starfield, that shit deserves nothing but it made a huge profit.
Can’t imagine what the devs felt like making this game, when I couldn’t even play it properly for two days without cringing.
They can keep it
LOL yeah and it’s ass

PlayStation 6. 1000$ :D games 100$
$70 games was my stopping point when indie games have been released cheaper and better in quality.
that’s completely fucking braindead lol. We’ve seen these console manufacturers adjust prices to be as competitive as possible with their competition.
Ahh the clasic, "we've seen it". Would you like to give specific examples ? Your reply just makes you look like you're projecting your lobotomy on anyone who would disagree.
Nintendo with the 3DS, Xbox one, sega Saturn, ps3, etc.
The games trash lol
I remember reading about the trademark and getting excited that it obviously meant that we were finally going to Hammerfell. *Sigh.*
rare W for xbox
It’s actually kinda fun. Not full price fun. But decent enough. It was an abomination the first few months though. Probably one of the worst. Still it’s not the top bad
I was going to comment the same, started playing again since the patches and the game has improved a rather lot. I imagine if it released as it is now then people would have not been nearly as hard on it. It has a very cool atmosphere and setting, cool weapons and fps gameplay and can also be a lot of fun in co op. Shame it got pushed out the door before it was finished.
It sucks because we're already low on good coop campaign games and this isn't going to help that situation at all.
Nothing of what you describe makes this game sound anything special? Is there anything this games does better than other games in this genre?
If they made the vamps actually threatening, that would have been cool. The buildup to the first vamp was amazing. Fighting cultists, the worlds all fucked up. It's dark, you're in a fire station, *something is in the basement*. Then you get down there, fire one flare at the thing and it falls over. Fucking disappointment.
Why does it need to do it better if it is fun ? Does every game you play have to outshine others in its genre ?
Exclusives are the least consumer friendly thing these companies can do. If you support it, you're dumb.

Crackdown 3 and Halo 5!
Halo 5 is not as bad as crackdown 3 and Redfall tbh. The game has some good moments. It’s only the story which is straight up horse shit sometimes
I think most people stopped listening since the launch was so bad. The name Redfall became radioactive even if it was being worked on.
The front page still says this: Arkane Austin is currently developing the upcoming title Redfall™, led by Studio/Creative Director Harvey Smith and Co-Creative Director Ricardo Bare. Coming May 2, 2023, Redfall will release exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC and will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass. So they haven't updated the front page of their own website in nearly a year to reflect this release!
Lol
Blame MS/Xbox whose orders Arkane have to jump to. Having these giant publishers who own dozens of studios and will kill anything that isn't generating 100x ROI is souring the AAA industry.
The game was way in development before MS deal closed. Like the one wolfenstein game, the launch version of FO76, Rage 2, Ghostwire, and etc. this is mostly Zenimax.
uh no dude, they just made a bad game. It's not that deep
Too bad nobody wants that complete FLOP
That’s the joke
Exclusives suck. The industry would be better off without them. Imagine if you could pick a console based solely on price and hardware capabilities.
You can, its called PC. Really the only two titles that *I* would need a PS5 for are Ghost of Tsushima and Bloodborne. Everything else is on PC.
If you could get a good pc for $500, consoles wouldn’t exist. I’m not spending $3000 to play a game.
Exclusives are dumb and counter productive
Everyone just needs something to be angry about. God forbid it’s anything important like housing and grocery prices though right?
They want to protect their favourite corporation
completely unnuanced take
Uhh, yeah that's ok you guys can keep it.
Give it a few years, anything is possible
This game had so much potential :/
RIP Arkayne.... you will be missed :(
I beat that game twice AMA
Not the hero we need but the one we deserve 😂
Better than starfield.
This game is what pushed me to buy a PS5.
The only thing i had fun with was the bugs
Wasn't this game terrible though?
Don't forget Crackdown 3.
I’d love the end of exclusives to be here
Got a code for this game when i bought my 4070 Ti in march last year still haven't used it yet lol
Releasing on PS5 might be an incentive to cyberpunk it and completely rework it. Selling in ps5 might help recoup of that cost too.
No thanks. but we’ll happily take Hi-Fi Rush
I wouldn’t want this game to be my big exclusive title, I’d port it just so I didn’t have to say I was the only place that could disappoint you.
The biggest disappointment ever. Can’t believe they put out trash like this.
Imagine if you bring this photo back to the 90's and tell the people back then this is what future gaming will look like
LOL
For the right price I think it can work! I'd happily play it if they paid me to lol
you mean Palworld right
Yeah they can keep that one.
What's funny is, it will and it'll be in a better state
It does represent the current generation of Xbox's quality...
Good on MS for not littering.
Cue sad trumpet sound
I never bothered to look into what it was since I wasn't going to be able to play it.
maybe because it's so bad PS doesn't want it nor allow it on the PS and i don't think PS players really want Starfield since we can all see the state of that game and frankly empty/boring it is and most have a better version of game, no man sky
Would be 93% on metacritic if it was a Sony/Nintendo exclusive
Listen, unpopular opinion here. I like Redfall. I like the concept of it, I like the exploration of it. I feel the map needed to be bigger, the animations better, and instead of named heros with unchangeable classes, they could have given us more freedom in who we played as.
The best Xbox exclusive in years.
Xbox can keep that trash
Xbox still has to make the 1 year DLC roadmap for Redfall for those players that bought that one edition that came with future DLC. Something tells me they’ll just ignore it hoping people forget & get no lawsuit & or the DLC will be bare minimum fodder
Good for PlayStation players
Hey remember when people made fun of JRPG heroes looking like they rolled through a garage sale belonging to Rob Liefeld characters? Welp, at least they didn't go dumpster diving of the homeless Cobra rejects. But seriously it feels like they were trying too hard with an action figure aesthetic here.
One of the few times where wanting to keep a game out of other people's hands is actually a kindness.
As an Xbox player it would be disrespectful to give that to PS players😂 Let us keep this garbage.
Also available on PC, Microsoft really don't care about X-Box.
Sony and Nintendo are going to pay Microsoft NOT to port it.
They totally should spend time and money giving this fucker a rerelease on playstation. Only for it to bomb the fuck out. Exactly like Morbius.
Still can't believe that there were people defending this game
The game is most likely still a glitchy broken mess
MCC
it would affect xbox sales hence they are keeping it exclusive :P
Don't speak to soon, it's likely that a PS version was in development before they made it an exclusive.
Redfall is an exclusive? Tell that my Steam library 👀
And might i add i only have it because i couldnt say no fast enough as i bought my GPU
LMAO
This might be the best post I've ever seen......
Xbox mulit plat is not the way forward!!!! What's the point in buying a xbox then ..
Ya just keeping pushing MC to make less money. There loseing sells for system but there making a lot off of game pass. Why not let them make money off of sony players.. ps do y'all even remember how much mk said thy would not make off of starfield being on PSN it wasn't a small number.
Can’t we just let this go multiplatform and let all the others stay exclusive?
I had fun with this one. Give it a try!
dogshit game major fail
Why would y’all want exclusive games on any console. Games should be available for all players on all platforms. Exclusivity is the worst thing to happen for gaming. Cross-platform with no exclusivity would create a unification in the gaming community. It should never be about which games are on which platform or what store, it should be about what console performs better. Make better consoles, more players will buy the console. Make exclusive games…less people can buy the game.

yeah, please don't give us your trash MS.
