Another possibility: most raspberries require a certain number of chill hours. The only one I’ve heard of that does well in places like Florida is the mysore, which is an invasive black raspberry that’s not as nice as the native one. Plenty of blackberries do well that far south though.
Green is most likely this year's cane, while the brown sprouted last year. Raspberries are a bit like strawberries in that they spread by runners, but those runners are underground.

Should be, yes. It probably needs a bigger pot, and at this point I’d doubt they’ll produce because it’s getting late in the season.
That depends on where you are located. I don't expect raspberries for a while yet.

I’m planning on putting it in a pot. It’ll be ok in a large pot right?
