DAMN that's a hard first one, I'm terrible to judge for levels that hard but the most fun levels people usually say for levels above like Limbo difficulty are things like Firework, Unknown, & Oblivion. Firework is the only one in those 3 that's harder than Limbo atleast according to pointercrate so I'm gonna go with that.
Like every Codependence victor says it's incredibly fun, but at the same time, it's Codependence soooo ehhh, also congrats on Sinister Silence that's insane 👍👍
At that high in the demonlist it seems like you've gotten to the point where instead of looking for the most fun level to play its more of which is the least painfull so if we look at it like that ur best options are probably The Lightning Rod or MINUSdry?
i have carpal tunnel syndrome so i stick to less clicky levels, my goals are helping spain pass russia on the stats viewer so non beaten demons take more prio. I fancy kyouki but i dont know if will beat it.
You could try Double Trouble it's really fun HOWEVER it is an XL level at 2m 15s in length, Lucy by Lyal is also reallyyyy good it's a 2.2 level and flows really well buuuut it's also an XL at just barely 2m 3s in length. You can tell I got major XL bias...
If you can't be bothered with the pain of XL's you could try Never Make It? It's to that one creo song, cool gameplay imo.

Maverick is one of the most fun insane demons you will ever come across, if there was a Top 5 most fun demons in the game Maverick makes that list, it's by SoDaZ, pretty learny, perfect length, it's just an absolute banger.
Honestly though if you want an extreme to beat that isn't really a jump but still is super fun I've got 2 perfect ones, CICADA3302 & Mystic Bounds. Even tho in game they're currently rated as Extremes, they are in EXTREME risk of being rerated to an insane demon because of how easy they are. Especially CICADA3302 which so happens atleast to me feels more fun than Mystic Bounds. You could also try VEIL if you want it's an insane and it's all just the ball gamemode but it's still really fun, very gimmicky tho.

* My Little Garden (kinda high cps, dash orbs)

* KETAMINE (fast paced, VERY sync based)

This is like the tiniest of slightly harder than The Realistic but Iridescent Glee seems like a really fun level you could try however it is like off by a second of being an XL so if you need something slightly harder thats also not too long levels like FREEDOM AWAITS and NongPholic seem very fitting as a new hardest imo, NongPholic might be just a little bit too much of a jump for you right now tho...
Ok please I’ve never tried for a new hardest before, but I can beat most medium demons in >500 attempts. I have 73% on Arcane (insane demon) but I guess my real hardest I’ve beaten is boss 3 electro, a medium demon. I am a big fan of flow gameplay, I am VERY ship carried btw and I am pretty good at wave (kinda). I also despise nine circles levels and 1.9 and most early 2.0 levels. What level should I beat for a new hardest and do you think I could beat an extreme?
It seems like you should build up your hard demon count more before going for insanes, a good place to start for hard demons is probably Subterranean, to Bitcrunch, then to EXHAUST. You might wanna fill some hard demons inbetween those. Or you could continue the push for Arcane then beat 1 or 2 more insanes before tackling your first extreme. At this current point in time you probably couldn't beat an extreme but you might be able to beat one in less than a few months if you keep on grinding.

Burn to dust, it's pretty learny and the songs got lyrics but its still a banger. Heavens Door is also ethereal as fuck, it's XL and has alot of timings so naturally there's some nerve control involved but I think you'd like it.
If you need something harder then something like surge of the shield or devoid would work however SOTS is XL and its songs got vocals in it, devoids probably better.

Enantiomorphs is a very good high end insane but when I say high end, IT IS HIGH END. It's like the insane demon you'd beat before attempting your first extreme so some other more harder insane demons that aren't on Enantiomorphs level are stuff like VEIL (which is entirely ball but very satisfying), Mucho Fuego, and Spearmint.
Omicron seems to fit well, Surge of the shields also a banger too if you wanna try that. You seem like someone fine with jumps so honestly at that point you could probably go for something like Nhelv if you grinded hard enough.

After APED you could try Iridescent Glee which is basically an XL but not really or Freedom Is A Lie. zodiac shift by skywalker14 is also really good, its to the same song as Future Funk.
zpomalit dolu seems really good as a first medium demon, not too hard not too easy and it's pretty atmospheric however it is an XL. If you don't like XL levels then there's a really underrated medium demon called "Double Fireball" Which is kinda like a 2 player level without being a 2 player level, it is incredibly fun, same song as Acheron "Thermodynamix", overall a really nice banger.
Jawbreaker is my only hard demon, Sakupen Egg and [Some insignificant other medium demon I beat in 15 minutes] are my only medium demons. I don't want to beat Nine Circles or White Women.
It is a jump but MDRR despite being an insane demon could honestly be a really fun grind, if you need something easier then something like MULTIVERSE or HindSight might work better. If you really like wave then I can't really think of any good wave based levels sorry.

Cupid could work it's basically the sequel to Acu but I can't tell to you if you'd think of it as a jump or not... Easier levels would be things like STRATUS and verisimilitude, still harder than Acu but not by too much :)
You could try Cake By The Ocean as a final hard demon before transitioning to insane demons however it does use a nong, levels like EXHAUST and debatably Overload (which is like on the border of hard and insane demon) are probably better.

STRATUS, there are some ship parts in it but it's definitely not the main focus. verisimilitude is very VERY nice, very floaty. 53-75 has ship in it but I think its overall worthit since its a pretty short level anyway.
First off congrats on GD10 I don't know how tf you could even bare that levels unbalanced ass difficulty, I highly recommend Bismuth by ImMaxX1, it's incredibly fun it's honestly my favourite level in the whole game 2nd to Maverick. MULTIVERSE could also fit really well, unbalanced as hell decoration but that's kinda the point of it.
Classic: I haven't beaten any demons, but I'm really close to beating CUT DEEP, ISpy, and I'm working on Four Wheel Drive

I'm currently trying to beat Bloodbath (56% and 42 - 100 so far) as my 100 demons and first extreme, but i'm interested to know your opinion on what would be a more... resonable choice.
I'm trying to think, "What would be fitting as a good 100th demon that's not as self-harming as Windy to Bloodbath". So honestly, if you really want your 100th demon to be an extreme, the two perfect levels for trying that out are "CICADA3302" and "Mystic Bounds". CICADA is in pretty good risk of being rerated to an insane due to how easy it is for an extreme, Mystic Bounds not so much but it's there's still a chance in future. Both of them are above 5m in length tho, Mystic Bounds is probably best. It's definitely harder than CICADA, and fits really well as an 100th due to its atmosphere, song, etc.
Best level I could think of for an 100th that isn't an extreme and isn't XL is "FY" by Onvil, idk what it is about the level but it's just screaming to me "100th completion worthy", it's under 50s long, super fun to play, very learny but overall a banger.
If you REALLY want to, you could continue the jump from Windy to Bloodbath but I seriously don't recommend it. It's generally better to improve your skillsets with multiple levels to work towards a grander goal of a level rather than to jump straight for it.

if you can find an extreme with the word bone in the name that would be preferable. I also have 72% on acu and 46% on backlights, and both of those percents are probably harder than my 2 and 3 as a whole

If we're counting platformers, then replace either xStep V2 or Shiver with Flipswap Factory.

It's definitely harder than CICADA, and fits really well as an 100th due to its atmosphere, song, etc. Best level I could think of for an 100th that isn't an extreme and isn't XL is "FY" by Onvil, idk what it is about the level but it's just screaming to me "100th completion worthy", it's under 50s long, super fun to play, very learny but overall a banger. If you REALLY want to, you could continue the jump from Windy to Bloodbath but I seriously don't recommend it. It's generally better to improve your skillsets with multiple levels to work towards a grander goal of a level rather than to jump straight for it.
