In Finnish it's "hidden by the spirits", which is actually better than it might sound when translated to English like this. Flows quite well (in Finnish) and sounds mysterious.
The Finnish distributor of Ghibli films in general has some interesting title translations. The Cat Returns is "the realm of cats", From Up on Poppy Hill is "girl from the hill, boy from the port", When Marnie Was There is "the girl in the window" and so on. They do generally work well so this is more of a cool piece of trivia than a complaint or anything.
Interesting name for the Italian version. In Latin America it's dubbed as "Chihiro 's journey".
Fun fact, the Japanese name translates to "Sen and Chihirocs god bathhouse"

Went to see ponyo in a cinema when i was little and it started playing in Japanese with Korean subtitles.
In Australia btw, me my mum and my brother couldn’t understand a word, was still a good movie tho cant definitely was a funny experience to look back on.
There’s a big theater where I live (South America) that always does this and it’s amazing.
Alien is one of my favorite movies, so it’s 2001 a Space Odyssey, Spirited Away... you get the drift.
I got the chance to watch these (and many more) amazing movies like these thanks to this cinema efforts.

The first Ghibli movie I saw was the first US release of Princess Mononoke in 1999, I am dating myself but it was an out-of-body experience! I hope you enjoyed it because they are truly incredible in the cinema.

The Italian translation kind of sucks tho, changes some sentences' meanings, and Chihiro's parents sound less harsh.

The enchanted city? I always find translations of movie titles funny. In danish the movie is called "Chihiro and the witches" :b
If I didn't know Ghibli studio, I'd probably not watch this. It a super generic name, not very appealing.
In German it's called "Chihiro's journey to the magic land" I really prefer the short English name these days
